why not everyone is free to marry who he or she love ,This makes no sense at all. So if anything holds in Spain, Germany etc, Africans must be follow follow ![]() |
Why is this titled this way as if AFRICA is one country subject to the same laws? |
That American thing never ceases to amaze me. Many of them support the gun totting till they become victims or their friends/family become victims. |
nj11:I can only pray that you whatever you do will turn out well for you. To say I know how you feel is to lie but I am trying to imagine it. I couldn't have an erection with a woman to whom I am not sexually attracted or with whom I feel disgusted. This has put me in trouble in my younger days when a girl started saying things about me. I know it must be hard making love if you're not attracted to the person. Please do try and meditate more on his good side. Good men are hard to find! The guy who makes you feel good now may not be the same in a few years. At least this one really and truly loves you. Happiness can become fleeting if we are not careful! |
spikedcylinder:You can ask her why she does not love him. If you chose to see all the bad sides of someone, you'll never love the person. My greatgrandfather married my greatgrandmother by arrangement yet, they loved each other and we saw it. My GGM said that she could not help loving the man because he cared very much for her (I never knew my GGF). We chose who we love - thats why girls always say they want a rich, tall bla bla bla etc. When they see those qualities, they will consciously fall in love. its about seeing things that we chose to value in the other person. |
Because they have no confidence in themselves and what they really are. They need to put up a front. |
Amugbo people |
Who said Zimbabwean girls are anything ![]() One thing I know is that they are wild girls. I've never met any Zimbabwean who has stayed married to a Nigerian guy. I met a few who were cheating on their Zimbabwean husbands - maybe their men are just mumu guys who trust their loose women. Naija girls are the best any day. . . not talking about born troway girls o. I mean naija bred babes. |
redgalusa:If you are so desperate to get married to him, go ahead and get pregnant. This is something for you both to work out. Nobody can understand what's going through another man's mind in this kind of circumstance except himself and God. His desire to have a child before marriage could be a result of his background. However, you also need to consider that the guy could decide he doesn't want you again even after getting married. You know him and you alone can decide the best thing to do for yourself. |
This is a decoy. The perverts are just rapists. |
Forget story. Badamosi Babangida already legalised corruption many years ago |
http://www.dailytrust.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=6222&Itemid=19 Belgian strangles Nigerian wife to death Written by Tashikalmah Hallah & Francis Okeke Sunday, 15 March 2009 A Nigerian woman, Mrs Evelyn Uche Amarin that lived in Belgium was on Monday, March 2, 2009 murdered by her husband. This news was contained in a press release signed by the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Diaspora, Rep Abike Dabiri-Erewa (AC, Lagos). She said that “the attention of the House Committee on Diaspora has been drawn to the recent murder of a Nigerian woman, Evelyn Uche Amarin by her Belgian Husband, Mr. Wim Vanacker, in their Berendene home, Belguim in a most inhuman, callous and brutish manner by strangling her to death with his bare hands, on Monday, March 2, 2009.” The statement condemned the murder as well as the rise in the killing of Nigerians living in various parts of the world. “While grieving the untimely death of this mother of 2, the Committee condemns in unequivocal terms the several acts of indignity against Nigerians by some foreigners in their host countries and noted with dismay the prevalence of domestic violence against women by men. “The committee is calling on well meaning citizens of the world to rise up in one voice against the rampant abuse of human rights, especially of women by their male counterparts as a demonstration of solidarity in compliance with all known laws against human and women rights across the globe.” It adds that “the committee is further calling on Nigerian embassies, International Communities and law enforcement Agencies to frontally wage war against all forms of inhuman treatment all over the world irrespective of race or colour. “We are deeply touched by the death of this innocent woman and we hereby call on the relevant authorities especially the Belgium Police to ensure that Mr Wim Vanacker does not escape the long arms of the law for his wickedness against humanity, against his wife, against this mother, against this woman, Evelyn Uche Amarin; only then can the spirit of Evelyn find rest, only then can justice be seen to have been done. “We are also calling on the well meaning citizens of world to wake up to the challenges of ensuring that the two children left by Evelyn do not suffer the misery of death of their mother,” it stated. |
tpia:I cant explain it further. It is self explanatory |
tpia:The children might need protection so that they dont learn laziness from their mother |
Its a sad state indeed. However, I sincerely believe that nothing but hurt and regrets await you if you dump your husband for your old flame. you hoenestly think the guy still loves you? If you were someone I knew, I would advise that you try and start seeing the good side of your husband - he must have some good points to him. Perhaps if you start doing that, you'll have reasons to love him. Human beings make up reasons to love people although we try to deny it. God bless you |
It is a difficult situation and I feel for you but you saw the signs before you got married so you need to find a way around this. You either do all the work yourself and then she;ll eventually start feeling guilty and she get off her a*se as well or you get a maid to do it for her. I think you should start doing everything by yourself and dont bother telling her to do anything. However, whenever she wants something from you, you can also make it difficult if its a non-essential. Dont keep telling her to do the housework. I dont understand why parents cant teach their children to do housework and let them know that it is a good thing to do things at home. many people spoil their children's lives from childhood by not teaching them the right things. . . all because they think that loving your child means spoiling your child. |
I bet U are lazy also.Does this not qualify you for the left side of Yaba? |
I have not tried to run anyone down and I have not said people will not marry anyone. (Even those who have 5 kids). All I know is that I can never honestly advise any single person to marry someone that comes with a baggage except if they are desperate. Everything has a pitfall but there are some things that have very obvious pitfalls so it's best to avoid the obvious pitfalls. |
chaircover:good. . . so we should lock every woman in Yaba (left side) after giving birth |
Since when did stealing become a talent to nurture? |
tpia:Okay then. . . I will never advise any man to marry a woman with child/ren for someone else |
U make a lotta sense, hombre. I cannot believe American residents are shooting their mouthz off about racism. The UK is the most tolerant country on the face of this planet by a country mile. . . . . . Black people are always comfortable to play the race card whenever they misbehave. . . .What was Anichebe doing oitside the window looking like a thief in the night. He deserved the treatment and he should blame himself for looking like a street urchin.
This is really scary. The writer here is implying that a black man has no right to go out again? Did you see Anichebe's dressing? How exactly did he look like a street urchin? My my my. . . when a black man gets wronged for racial profiling, so many uncle toms rise up to defend the indefensible. Even the police have said that they were in the wrong haba |
tpia:neither should it do same for a single father. There are many more potential pitfalls in marrying a single parent than there are in marrying a single with no baggage. Nothing really is guaranteed in life in terms of these things but it is foolhardy to go into dangerous territory if there is less dangerous territory in which to foray. If there are no more unbaggaged singles, then there would be no choice than to take the risks. . . just like in UK where most people have become baggaged and so the others have little choice but to accept them. Even many people in the UK would rather have single partners but in open discussions, they dont voice such. |
tpia:Bold is a dream. What happened to Rita Marley probably led many away from Nigeria already ![]() |
Everything has to be blamed on some form of depression or ailment. . .oh well, it has to be. A mad woman kills her child and someone has to have some form of medical diagnosis. A child does not have language skills and they have to give it some diagnostic connotation to suit themselves and make their profession continuously relevant. hmmmmmmmm |
It takes an intelligent person to think forward in any relationship. It would be daft of anyone to get entangled knowing that there are probable obstacles on the way. Only people without knowledge will do that. Why should anyone go through a dangerous and dark alleyway when there is a well lit and busy street leading to the same destination? |
chikito1:your opinion |
JJYOU:Are you okay? How exactly are these related? |
Fhemmmy:Yeah. it's about inferiority. Too many black people feel inferior to white people. They will succumb to every desire of white people. Its been that way for a long time and its not changed. |
Fhemmmy:That sometimes gets me worried too. Its the reason it will never stop. Our stupid boys only ever go for white women when they have money |
JJYOU:This coming even after the police have issued an apology and admitted that the cuffing and stuff was unnecessary ![]() No wonder they say we will never truly be liberated. We must always find a way to escuse the inexcusable as long as it is a black man that is the victim. |
