I wouldn’t encourage it, yes you are right about it getting the room hotter faster but the same way the hotness disappears the moment you switched it off and the bill comes off your Topup meter.

Yes he can take up driving job but I don’t know if it pays more than care job, he has to get used to UK way of driving first before thinking of doing it for work to avoid painful experience with his insurance company

Book through agent my dear. You can be debited and your payment won't reflect on the airlines portal. You will get to checking canter on the day of travel only to discover that your data wasn't captured . It could distrupt your travel.

Booking directly from the airline website is the best option, its not different from booking local flight, when you book directly through the airline website and anything goes wrong they will sort it out straight way, if you booked through agent and anything goes wrong airline will not attend to you, you will be asked to contact the agent that sold the ticket to you.

A lot of agents are very bad at sorting out issues after collecting your money.

One month bank statement is not the norm , print at least 3-6months bank statement that shows your earning history or savings, add the same number of payslips to support the source of your income, you also need to add your tenancy agreement(to show that the person you are inviting has a place to stay) then invitation letter that will explain why you are inviting the person.

Yeah a few people make it but many are struggling. watch the story of this young man. its a short video. only 40 minutes long. his big brother was abroad for like 15 years and wasnt making it and did not come home, so he promised his mother that when he goes abroad after just 1 year he will come back home and buy her car and build her mansion. the guy managed to go abroad. 10 years later the guy is still languishing abroad with no papers and no money.

I got the response on Wednesday , l contacted Ikeja TLS Thursday but I couldn't due to the crowd but on Friday after several hours, they said it hasn't been sent to them.

There is nothing much you can do apart from waiting until they contact you to pick up your passport, you can also visit the visa centre to check. Your case is not peculiar

That too. Usually when you cancel council tax, they will ask you who is liable for the tax and the past owner will put your details. Maybe the former owners did not pass your details to the council so they got the info from the land registry.

No that did not happen because the house was empty for sometimes before i bought it.

Council tax on empty houses is usually even more than occupied houses. It is like a property tax on every dwelling and someone must be liable either the tenant who lives there or the landlord.

Property gurus correct me if I'm wrong o. Plus I was in same situation last year and paid the tax for both. The person that sold you the house would probably have informed the fibbing that ownership has changed so the bill will be coming to you

Not really, the land register does that, they will inform the council when key exchange hand and your council tax will be adjusted...when you moved in after buying a house council usually send a form to that address...empty home form(really can not remember the actual name) you basically complete the form indicating when you moved in and whether you renting it or you bought it... the funny thing here is..the council will start billing you for council tax from the day you got the key and not the day you moved in...

This happened to me...i completed the form and indicated the day i moved in but about 7months later council took extra money for my council tax when i contacted them i was told that the land registry informed them that i collected the key days earlier so they have to adjust my council tax.
