Olominira: I can't count the number of times "Nigeria" was mentioned in this article. If it were to be UK, German or any European national, would they mention his country at all? This is a part of systematic way USA is blackmailing entire Nigeria nation instead of individuals. Is this the only thing that bothers you? |

OLUPROMISE: Hi Guru in the house
Please your advice the details of my case is below:
I was born in UK in 1980 when my parent come to study Two years after my birth they took me back to Nigeria without UK passport and my parent did not allow me have access to my birth cert anyway story short. After 33 years my parent decided to give me my birth certificate which I used in applying for British passport which was granted in Nigeria by then I already had 2 kids in Nigeria. Now i'm in uk and I want to bring my wife and kids to uk, My question now is can I apply for British passport for my 2 kids because they are born before I got my British passport. please I will really appreciate advice and response.
Thanks This link will help you understand how to go about your kids British passport https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/461318/children_born_outside_the_uk_sept_2015.pdf but for your wife you need to apply for spouse visa(its costly but you got no other choice) If you are working right now and earning £18,600 gross then that is a good start, the rest of the cost comes from application fee, NHS surcharge, TB test and English language test but if your wife has a degree then its quicker to get that degree evaluated through UK Naric, it will cost you about £160. Above all you need to get a DNA test done for those kids so as to clear up any doubt that they are your kids. |

SmartKitty: 1. I know what you mean and how many of you hate white people but I tried to soft this topic, it's over this subject, no coming anymore to give birth on a tourist visa and it's good as anchor babies was also one form of scam. 2. Many people are stranded with no money, not only Nigerians but also Americans. And nothing is wrong to care about America. You can care about your precious Nigeria, it doesn't bother me at all but somehow it bothers you. 3.You just called me MAGA. It shows your true racist colors. In my understanding many Nigerians as you call all white people MAGA just because some were scammed, used and abused by your people and just because those so called MAGA have a heart to help some Nigerians crying they don't have money for food and living. It amazes me how many in this topic or fiance(e) topic are talking about love and marriage, push so hard to get visa and to come to America and at the same time call American people MAGA, etc. We all know how few are coming to America for real reasons and honest life. Shame of you, being a moderator here and pushing this topic to be racist. 4. Personally, I don't hate anybody here or there. I have friends of all colors and races including Nigerians yet I never be a friend to a racist person. Any form of racism and discrimination is wrong.
Continue pushing this forum to offensive hate. I can imagine how some Nigerians come to my country with hate in their soul and with MAGA word as a bitter stone in their heart. Shame of you. At least you should just shut up and stop creating segregation and hate. I tried to stop and soft this topic and to end this nonsense.
Keep going, we all learn. Classic |

Live in denial all you want, that was some conceited, racially prejudiced twisted shit.
I am not a fan of smartkitty but how in the world did you throw in hat wearing and hate at the same time?
Hey they say you above repudiation. I am done whether you get it or dont. That is just an ignorant comment and you know that |

How did you come up with that conclusion? Read your original post again and take a second to think, just maybe you will come up with more stuff to help you better understand that comment was very inappropriate. What are you on about? You need to read my initial comment and tell me how you got that twisted. |

No humor here. Its not, MAGA hat is not about a particular race, there are black people who wears it and support Trump, |

Actually that was not what i meant, the lack of empathy in your post worries me especially in this time of pandemic . People are stranded, in most cases with no money, no help but all you care about is your precious America. Many of you MAGA hats( which i think you are) need to slow down with your hate filled attitude. |

SmartKitty: The children are Americans, meaning all Americans children including mine. We pay taxes to provide schools, roads, health care etc. and if they go to Social Services, our taxes pay for their food and living. Why should I pay for a Nigerian visitor (a foreign mother, an adult) living? If her kids need help, leave them here and you go back to your country or this lady should work hard and give to her children a decent life as we all do. Oh please stop this ! |

I am presently not employed with any company. I'm more like a freelancer.
How do I craft a means to prove source of fund? I will be shocked if you are given a visa under this arrangement. Why would the small business owner spend his business money on you for a foreign holiday? As an adult you are expected to sponsor your own holiday |

mimilyrics: As a mother, you have automatic parental responsibility over your child but because the dad is listed on your child's birth certificate, he also has PR over that child so you have to be able to provide compelling reasons for this because UKVI is usually careful in cases where there are no legal documents to prove your claims/situation.
A court affidavit will also further strengthen your case. If you can apply to the court for separation on the basis of your spouse being AWOL, that will work too.

Tonyodg: Good evening everyone trust we are all doing good Please I want to point out a few things as it has come to my notice ,not happened once or twice but keeps repeating itself as it has happened to my friends on this thread Please those of us who claim to be SOP writers Making it seem like the statement of purpose for visa processing is Gold (We Nigerians make a really big deal out of things too much ) yes I know your SOP is meant to be Good and all . But where you become wicked is when different individuals contact you to help write the SOP you charge that’s very fine , you get paid and instead of the writer to take out time and do a good job because you was paid for your services , No greed would allow you copy and paste what you have written for 3-4 other people... It doesn’t make sense it’s just pure wickedness and plagiarism ... please let’s endeavour to do the right things as it’s said “Do to others what you wish for yourself” Please everyone know who you give your SOP to help you review or write cause I have seen 4 SOPs from different people that are the same on this thread God bless us all Name those individuals because this is unacceptable, I'm totally against this sort of behaviour. That said..any prospective student who is unable to write SOP has a serious thinking to do. If you can't write down why you want to study a particular course in Canada then give that money to a charity. Do not send your SOP to agent or to another prospective student like yourself for review else your original work will be copied |

Danielhouston: Is there really need for you to keep insulting him? I did not see you quote any immigration law to back up your argument either. You’ve just been attacking and blaming him for “spoiling African people”. He was not wrong and I get what he was trying to say, but he did not have the full information and his comments were not worded properly, hence the misinterpretation.
The German government does indeed allow change of student residence title in “special cases”, like I stated. If a Nigerian is qualified for that “special case” while studying, why can’t he take the opportunity? He’s not advising people to drop out and start playing football. There are people who are geniuses and don’t need a certificate to get certain opportunities.
Even banks and government agencies hire highly skilled hackers to look into their systems and help find loopholes or fix certain problems. You think those hackers have University degrees? I know a German guy that works for the Federal crime division of German police and he was recruited at a young age because of his special skill in computer systems. It is not advisable to drop out, but if you have a skill that is valuable and the Foreigners office decides to change your resident title, why not? You are helping him put the point across but that was not his initial point hence the whole issue with dropping out to work full time |

Everybody should follow whatever they believe is in their best interest as long as they act within the confiment of the law. The bottom line is "do not break the law" Its not by coincidence that many have issues with Nigerians, we to a larger extent contributed to it, we are always looking for a way to abuse any system then pick up race card when the table is turned against us. |

stephots10: I'm sure I didn't state anywhere that the system encourage students to abandon their studies. My point is that change of resident title is allowed simple This is completely different thing and you know it, you stated that the system permitted it and that it should not be seen as bad, that its a path to change residence status. Are you denying what you wrote or you realized that you made a mistake? |
Travel › Re: Nigerian Students In Germany..how Do You Survive?? by justwise(mod): 5:53pm On Jun 27, 2020 |
stephots10: Let me quickly say this. I personally would not advice anyone to quit study and started hunting for job.
However, it is obvious that Germany need more working class immigrants especially in those unregulated field to contribute to the economy through payment of tax and social securities. Germany doesn't not run a pension scheme like Nigeria where pension fund is kept aside in a safe, they run a system where the current working populace pay those who have retired and the flow continues like that. As a student you contribute almost nothing to the economy, it's even worse when you keep changing schools and didnt finish the master on time.
In as much as you want to condemn the act, note that the system permit it and in fact has a very smooth path to change your residence status. A friend confirmed that from one of the staff at the Munich foreign office.
So, doing stuff that is totally permitted by the immigration law shouldn't be seen as bad. Show me any official link to support this false claim you made up there This is totally misleading and should not be taken seriously. The system did not encourage foreign students to abound their studies and start working full time. lets not even attempt to encourage what is obviously bad here. |

SOLARPOWER1: .
Who told you everybody that enters Germany with student visa go there for only schooling? There are so many opportunities when you get to DE....Considering all the options available, student visa still remains the best.. Imagine you have about two years to settle down and look for job, anytime you get the job you quit your studies and start working.. Unlike entering Germany with 6 months job hunt visa where you would be under serious pressure to get a job within that short period. You really can't be serious, people with this mindset are part of the problem we are facing today. |
