Based on my personal experience. The uni is like an advance 9ja sc Sch. I applied there but latter withdrew my application. You will be required to submit your statement of account and pay 50% of tuition before you get CAS. And thereafter pay the remaining 50% at enrolment. Generating CAS for them is like waiting till eternity. Best of luck with them sha.
This is what made them an advanced Nigerian secondary school?

Very easy to understand....... Just listen slowly........ wink
Bro i'm not sure about that, how slowly can you listen to Scottish or Merseyside people to understand them? Just listen to their football fan, even Steven Gerrard or Wayne Rooney speaking slowly can help.

Avoid trying to promote an agent here, you have done this previously and today you are at it again.

I will not remind you this next time

Pls Anyone in the house that can say something about Portsmouth... I.e The school, Jobs, and standard of living
Portsmouth is a lively city, it’s a proper student city with a lot of activities, the location of the school is perfect as it gives you access to train and bus transport routes to London and other part of the U.K.

The school is highly rated , good facilities and It has huge amount of international students. Students get free University bus ride though living closer to the university is a lot better but it comes at a cost. Portsmouth is not that cheap but affordable.

Job wise Portsmouth has a lot of student jobs either within the university or outside.

You will enjoy that city more if you have the money and not spend all your time working and socialise.

@justwise..do you mean the city is quiet..what of job opportunities..because being quiet is good for students with families ..just my thinking..
Yes its quiet, not as busy as Bradford and Leeds, You will be able to get part time student jobs as its common with cities with large university.

Its not too far from Manchester though..about 45-50mins depending transport.

Hello Nairalanders

Which of these two Universities and study Location is best

1. University of Huddersfield (Middlesbrough)
2. University of West England Bristol

I await your responses.

Thank you.
Huddersfield university is a good university though the city itself is a bit quiet, Huddersfield is not in Middlesbrough, its in west Yorkshire, is closer to Bradford and Leeds

Goodevning house.. Please I need direction from the house and I will be as honest as possible..

I want to apply for a UK student or visiting visa.. I'm a first time applicant so I'm a novice.. I spoke to an agent who processed for a friend(outside London and she went for masters, for 3million)some money were also deposited into her account and she got it.. Now in the UK.

I spoke with the agent to help me process mine and he told me not to go for a student visa because it might be denied reason being that, it's a long time I wrote my SSCE(12years back) I have not done my degree but my friend did.

I have a registered company with a business account.. I haven't transacted any business with my business account, I have been using my personal account for all my transactions.. Should I apply for a visa with my business account or my personal account? I'm into importation of second hand wears but someone is helping me buy and send.. I have the receipt of some of the goods pouchesed for me but shipped with someone else's name.. I have pictures of most of my goods and when I'm selling them.. Can I get all these together and with some money in my personal account apply for visiting visa, telling them I'm going to buy goods..?

Another option.. I have a family friend that has been to the UK with the family And came back.. Can I act as their house help so they can apply for me as their help who will help them take care of the kids over there?

I also have a friend who has a very big old company that said..hey, I will look for a way to get you a UK visa but knowing that UK doesn't look at anybody's face,...can someone get one a visa with his or her company name or influence?

Please someone should help me on the best way to go about it.. I'm scared of denial that's why im looking for the best way.. Thanks in anticipation.
If you want to travel to the UK genuely then forget eveything the agent, your friend in the UK told because non will work.

Firstly can you afford to student in the UK? It will cost you at least 20M naira.

If yes then search for school online and apply for admission, this is completely free and you can do this in a day or two.

Read first page of this thread for cost of studying the UK and how to go about it

There is an existing thread on the subject that is very rich with testimonies too. The pathway is specifically for IT and engineering professionals with at least 5 years work experience. You need to have (720*6)euros =4320euros in a block account.

Just search "Job Seekers Visa Germany by cocolacec" for more details.

Link: https://www.nairaland.com/4423584/job-seekers-visa-germany/5

The mod should probably close this thread to avoid duplication of threads.

Where I am is none of your business. Closure of Embassies has brought an untold hardship for may people including me.
Surely where you are is not my business but i was only asking because many Nigerians in various countries were able to be repatriated.

Secondly even if the embassies are opened you still can't travel because the airports are closed.

And finally you can travel back to Nigeria with an expired Nigerian passport(when the airports are opened)

alright I'll ask her for the name of the uni

The course was in human resources management.
The assignments were periodically sent to her email and were given over the space of 2 months. It was research-like with questions relating to human resources (the degree she applied for) which she had to answer and was graded accordingly.
it even had deadlines sef

But the more i explain it to you guys here, the more i realize it seems sketchy, but I'll contact her later today to ask for the name of the uni. Thank You
Hope it's not 'learnforth university'?

There is a report that most Nigerians are stranded abroad due to the closure of many Nigerian Embassies abroad. Many Nigerians have been arrested due to overstaying as they can put visa in an expired passport,

Please this is an awareness to let the Nigerian Government to with immediate effect instruct Ambassadors to reopen embassies to solve the problems of Nigerians living abroad.

Other foreign embassies are open 24 hours attending to the needs of their citizens, I wonder why Nigerian Embassy should be closed thereby causing untold hardship to Nigerians abroad.

To be a Nigerian, is it a blessing or a curse?

Let this information reach to the relevant authorities.
1. Where abroad are you?

2. If you have valid passport now can you travel?

Hello
Is it allowed to do cash in hand jobs as a student?
Are there cash in hand jobs in Sheffield?
Cash in hand jobs are usually for illegal immigrants who doesn't have paper to get proper job, as a student why would you want to do cash in hand job?

Any company that offers you cash in hand job will definitely under pay you while you over worked.

Definitely not a good idea.

History is not a criterial to judge the authenticity of an institution or individual, well we will probably say all start up businesses are fake. Learnforth is a new college and all new colleges takes time to get on ground. I got a diploma degree award from them and I am please with it.
Both of you registered today and all your posts are on this suspicious college that exist only online? Well done!

Nigeria you know now. Our president is Buhari.

My beloved country. I just realized it that if one have a good job in Nigeria, one will be happy in this country and be happy than in the UK where one work y ass off. I am very free in Nigeria and I am not relocating again. A country that my wife has bin for years, she can't even save penny while me in Nigeria, just five months I av saved close to 1M. All I see in the UK is just the beauty, that is all. All y savings goes back to the system. I now like my country Nigeria and very comfortable.

I am not running again. I have realized it that Nigeria is a good country. If one has a good job one will enjoy this country. How many years have my wife stayed in the UK without saving a penny while me in Nigeria I have saved closed to 1M in just six months job I started. I am happy and comfortable now in Nigeria. What is the big deal in UK. What do u guys have that Nigeria don't havehuh?? Nigeria is a rich country. I prefer it here with my family than the boring UK .
grin each time you post the month increases .

It amazes me when i read from people who suddenly fall inlove with Nigeria just after their effort to travel abroad failed .

If you are now happy in NIgeria please enjoy it but don't compare these two countries.. two parallel lines
