majekdom2: My friend left the country some weeks back and he was like am not coming back to nigeria. na to find white girl give belle. I shook my head . first , it is obvious we are underdeveloped but we should not give the western countries that impression that we are nothing without them. if you ask any white man , why a black man wants to com to his country , he would tell you simply to find a better life ... its on the news how africans enter europe from italy having no shelter and nothing to offer. we are gradually becoming parasitic to the western world. The fact remains you are a minority . yes , it is a competitive situation in NIGERIA , success without competition isn't good success. I am yet to see any nigeria that comes back to this country after porting with billions of dollars to be invested..... likes of kase lawal didnt travel for greener pastures but to learn more in our diveristies.... if you have not done something remarkable within your family or neighbourhood and you think you ll be successful when you travel out , I tell you much more failure awaits you.

Loads of garbage, where did you people get this mind set from?

Amdan: Hi,

I want to extend my visa here in the UK and am to show only 2months money for living expenses because I have established presence. After I have applied, I want my family to join me. Will they also show 2months money or 9months money since they are my dependants?

frank94: quote me and do not quote me wrong,I have never said I can procure trinidad and Tobago visa to Ukay, neither did I say I will give him invitation to come here.check all my post here in nairaland.I'm not an agent.I only give advice and guidelines.what
I want to discuss with him is nothing corncerning visa issues.mind you visa is not a big deal, any one can get a visa and travel out.To be honest and truthful, had it been I followed the way people like you give advice in this nairaland,I won't have traveled out and achieved what i have now,I thank god I man up and followed my instinct with certain good advice I got from some one in this nairaland in this my same post that's why traveled and thank god for my life today.so in some things you do,back out be on the scene and watch how things go ok,every one is not the same.what I want to tell him is confidential and partaining this country, which I cant make public to avoid spoiling things, because i Dont know Mr A or B that's assesing this site because its public.if you keep on with your infringement and obstacle to this, I believe ukay can go ahead and ask me other certain things he need to know but I cant give out all because of the publicity of nairaland smiley

frank94: Mr justwise their is something confidentail I want to talk with ukay and its not something I will make Public. Some I have dealt with here,if I'm a scammer or bad person, they would have come here to report me.but since the time I traveled till now,I know people I have helped from this naira land concerning trinidad since last year if I'm bad, they will come here and testify.for me I tell you black and white how things are in this country and things that are obtainable and the ones that are not obtainable. So allow this doc ukay so that I can know how to help him and come here and practice like other doctors. For you to successed in life, its all about information and gods hands in your entire life.if you are not informed, you will be in darkness till your entire life.Allow ukay and I to discuss if I find him serious, I will link him up with a Nigerian doctor here or nurse that can help him more.

There is a fraudulent visa agent with ID Ayomide777 and email address: onile4adebayo@gmail.com viewing this thread and sending emails to some members here. Be careful, don't be a victim.

euroboy21: German passport. Highly valued and respected in the world. I wish i can make picture of immigration officer's face when you show your Deutsch pass at airport as a black German shocked shocked shocked(Deutsch Reisepass)

And the funny thing that makes German passport more adorable is only few black people have it unlike British or American passport that you easily see with non-white.

How do you know that? Only few black people?

henry0: The school's agent in Nigeria
...and you are not sure if they added any info that might have given the embassy the impression that they applied on your behalf?

I'm not sure that it will be an issue if you met all requirements.

henry0: Please @Justwise,
During my interview today I was asked how I applied for my course, I said online, so she asked when I sent my documents, I said june..

it was after the interview I knew I lied without knowing, because I applied through the school's office here in Nigeria and that was in june.

1.do you know if they call the school to confirm such?
2.Can this lead to refusal?
Who did the online application? You or your school's agent in Nigeria?

Kabosky1956: @Joe980,I got study/work permit approval, the TRV was stamped, and when I got to collect my passport@VFS-the TRV was cancelled with a pen&a stamp! Reasons: VO was satisfied that I had sufficient financial resources for my tuition and upkeep. Very painful experience.
So do you think my medicals is still valid as I wish to re-apply next week? Or will I asked to go for medicals again?
Do you have enough money now and proof it? Or you are submitting the same financial proof you used before?

Sanchez01: @the bolded, can you authoritatively state that they are the only achievers/celebrities and epitome of talents in this country? The answer certainly answers yours.
Certainly they are not the only achievers but my point is..considering the population of Nigeria and our resource the number legitimate higher achievers are negligible
Travel › Re: On Nigerians And The 'must Travel Mentality' by justwise(mod): 11:55am On Sep 24, 2014
Sanchez01: Truth is, you said my mind without mincing words. We claim Nigeria is bad, yet it birthed Seun and Linda, Japheth Omojuwa, Psquare, Tu-face, and even the so-called D'banj who was abroad did not 'make it' there until he came home. I have always concluded that Nigeria is a natural resources which does not require the regular mining to tap her wealth. Politicians keep looting, yet, it has not barred those who think outside of the boxing from succeeding.
Its interesting that in a country of about 150 million people you managed to count just few who made it legitimately without going abroad. How about the rest?
