Gone are the days when Eke and friends ruled here. They gave their all. You could see yourself in Germany seeing the way they tackle every issue. Germany i am pretty sure is very challenging which is why we seldom see them here plus the fact they have crossed over.(God bless them). When you see the number of ppl going to the embassy daily for interview, you will be amazed yet when you ask a question abt what it was like, they would 'jump and pass'. Mine will come soon and you can be sure i will post everything here. You guys can look up for @kunlelikeme's post. U are gonna get some useful tips on how to go abt it. Jah bless. I apologise in advance if my questions are a bit common but I have read both part 2 and 3 of this thread and I haven't really been able to answer them well enough
1) the prepaid courier envelope we are supposed to buy...Is it a self addressed envelope and is it preferable we bring it with us from home or buy at the embassy(bearing in mind the time factor during interview)
2)the handwritten letter of motivation(am guessing it should resemble the one we used for school application but edited for the embassy)but are we writing it on A4 paper or foolscap sheet and bringing it from home or are we supposed to write it there
3)from what I read we are supposed to write out name,address,email etc at the back of our questionnaire right

1) You buy at the embassy.
2) l believe someone stated here in this part 3 that you would not have to write it from home.
3)You can do that if you want but it is not compulsory.

It's not about the class but the grade, in the sense that your grade would be converted to the equivalent grade in the German system. Thus in this system the grade itself is what counts and not necessarily the class of the grade, so a 3.75 is 1.9 in the German grade while 3.6 is 2.0, even if both grades are tagged second class upper.

Like, for real?? When this topic was treated, there were talks of one going to FIRS to generate a Tax Identification No (TIN). There was no mention of passport no. I am not trying to discredit your idea. Only need to be more clear.

When the topic was treated, it was also highlighted that passport number also works out fine. Either TIN, passport number, or simply filling Not available (NA) with probably a short letter of explanation, would do. But passport number is the easiest, Methink.

Go to your uni first to find out, l believe they can give it to you. In some schools however you pay something (5k in my school).

please i want to know of anyone who recently got their visa... i did my interview on the 15th of February 2016 and from then till now is been 7 weeks... this is the 8th week... must it be that when they say within 6-8 weeks it must be the 8th week they reply someone. got my details of the blocked account on the 23rd of march and immediately forwarded to them but up till now no response from them. called them but they said i should hold on that i just sent my account details on the 23rd of march. someone on her said it normally takes 2 - 3 working days to send a follow up mail after one has forwarded blocked account details to them. Wondering why the recent change about it. school starts today already

lt. may not always take 2-3 working days for a follow up mail after confirmation of blocked account details due to the fact that individual cases are different with different alien offices, for some it took five days, two weeks, same day, etc. What's more, some here have also testified of getting it without funding(very rare).

so just chill, pray and be positive because it would surely come. Best Regards.

Sorry about the denial bro. However, I think you might have to sit for an entrance examination for undergraduate programs. The exams can be taken outside Nigeria(Kenya and Ghana I surmise) as there are no centres in Nigeria.
That said, I think someone mentioned earlier that there's a newly introduced program in Aalto University which requires just your SAT and English proficiency test.
Alternatively, you can opt for German schools which should accept your waec and toefl.
I suggest you read previous pages.

Wrong, German schools do not accept waec alone for Bsc, you must have a year one transcript from a University, an A level result or your HND. This is because our waec is not equal to the German Arbitur. There is also a pre degree program called studentkollege in German only

I have information about daad.de but in fact I have been to many school site but the language and the expression on the sites is very difficult to understand.

Welcome, first you would have to go through this thread, just take out time to do that and thank me later. You should note however that waec alone is insufficient for a straight admission into German universities. Also concerning the other issue you raised, l believe you can translate using chrome browser or Google translate. All the best.

Does your school issue out student copy? It is accepted by uniassist and many schools in Germany.

My e family, help me thank God, got my A. M mail to send a valid travel insurance and my passport. God win. You are yet to give any detail concerning your case, did you fund before the interview? If u didn't, did you get any mail from the embassy to fund thereafter? Have you done that or did you apply with the letter of sponsorship? Have you mailed the embassy?what alien office? etc etc. Please provide details so we can get a clearer picture. All the best.

Just send a mail to your course co-ordinator, the one who gave u the offer of admission, state that you need an invoice for the transfer to Db. If you were given an application number, state it in the mail. However if u feel that this may be time consuming, u may also search the website of ur school and various schools while u do that. All the best.

Good day my e family, please those that have recently made payment for their UNI-ASSIST fee should help me out on the procedure, a friend that wants to make the payment for me online while i will pay him with Naira is asking me about the Uni assist bank "sort code" and the "account number" but i only have the " INTERNATIONAL BANK CODE(IBAN) AND BIC/SWIFT CODE" from the UNI-ASSIST website. All the banks i approached are declining to do the transaction for me due to this on going CBN regulations, they insist that if its not school fees for FORM A that i should look elsewhere. i really need solutions to this urgently.

It would be quiet difficult now to get a Form A for uniassist transaction especially given the fact that u do not have an admission letter, you can make use of other means such as western union transfer. However the guy who transferred mine for me used the IBAN.

thanks @cupid007 and @kciano but to get reference letter from these my lecturers/professors hard pass getting admission from german universities
it took me about 4 days before i was able to have them fill the two recommendation form from hochschule esslingen which i'm also applying to. I can't just collect reference letters without knowing if its required because almost all the german schools usually have their customized reference letter/recommendation form downloadable on the school site which much be used. For this reason, i couldn't even proceed with the four for University of Ulm & Freiburg so i'm not applying to them again. i need to follow up this offenburg because the deadline is fast approaching that's why i'm asking. thanks

I feel your pain bro, it's never easy to get lecturers in uniport especially Chemical lecturers to do this reference thing, so just finish everything now. l don't think offenburg require that in the first stage, freiburg has a different format though. Corossive l hail.
