But the Palestinians were offered a 2-State solution but they refused because Jerusalem was to be shared by the 2 States. The crisis is a complex one, the Victor will emerge through show of force & fatigue of the enemy but that may take a long time. For now, peace is elusive in that region.

Nigeria is a funny country. We import gas for local consumption & we're now taking of important of gas to Germany in 2036. For now it's an ambitious project. We've been hearing of talks with Siemens since when Abba Kyari went to Germany & came back with Covid-19 infection. And we've not had any significant improvement in electricity generation & distribution.

Since a lot of food is consumed in Government house, then there's need for all Government houses to invest in food production. There is need to have a Government house farm. It's sad that our leaders, their families & cronies are feeding fat on public funds.

Commendable effort, but how'll the government manage them. The existing facilities are poorly managed & welfare of personnel poor. Most government hospitals are overrated & the services rendered are suboptimal.
What the people need is universal health coverage & private health sector participation.

Local governments elections is conducted by the State Independent Electorial Commission. Most times, it's the ruling party of the State that wins without much opposition.

The main problem is the lack of development at the local government level due to pausity of funds. Even though there is financial autonomy for local government councils, their funds is controlled by the State Governor. The Taraba State Governor recently signed a bill that reduced the tenure of local government Chairmen & councillors from 3 to 2 years in office.

If there is development at the local government levels & democracy allowed to thrive at that level, Nigeria will be better off.

That's a huge distance to cover with a wooden boat. How did they track and intercept it? Did they have a radar or a satellite or did they just spot it with their eyes?

Yea, sometimes it's difficult to understand the mentality of our leaders. Initially, the problem was granting licences to local investors to build refineries, then no crude oil to run them. Emphasis should be on ensuring our refineries get crude oil than wasting funds traveling around in the name of attracting foreign investors. I believe they're more interested in estacodes they get from the foreign trips. Charity begins at home.

Which good strategy, it's a window to empower them to get cash reserves for politics & some will convert the cash & store in dollars for personal use. Most security operations involves mobilization of personnel & equipment including vehicles, arms, logistics including fueling & personnel allowances. Is there any of those processes that funds cannot be transferred electronically. Is this what applies in other climes? Money laundering will continue to be a challenge in this country.

This your stuff is not true. Have you gone to the North before? Most chemists & pharmacies sell condoms in the North. There's no religion or culture forbidding the use of condoms. Apart form prevention of pregnancies, condoms can be used to prevent STIs, to collect urine, used in transvaginal scan & also used as a condom tamponade in treatment of postpartum haemorrhages due to uterine atony.

Most of the Ijaws are in Bayelsa State. They're firmly in control of the politics there. The Ijaws are a minority in Rivers State; oil is also produced in Iwerre land who're presently the majority in Rivers State: Wike & Amaechi's people.

Wike has political ambition in 2027 & needs access to funds for the mission. Fubara is trying to outsmart Wike because he wants to align with the Atiku group to be i/c of Rivers politics. Sentiments apart, he's right. Lifting ban on imports of those products was untimely & wrong. What's the effect of that decision on the exchange rate? Rice is produced in large quantity in this country. Government needs to provide basic infrastructures to transport the products from the farms & if possible mop them up for storage & price control. A lot of the products produced in the North are sold off to merchants from neighbouring countries.

The Hamas leaders are hiding in bunkers & some are in their headquarters in Qatar. Most have been decimated, some of the combatants are still hiding in bunkers with the hostages as human shields. Hamas technically has lost political control of Gaza & a lot of them have been captured by the IDF. The Governor can petition the DSS to report the individual that posted the defamatory content and sue whoever is behind the handle for cyberbullying and criminal defamation. NLC is not a gutter platform so the implication of the crime is the sole responsibility of the person who posted it and not that of NLC.

As for LP, Labour Party is not helping by resorting to self help and needless resort to violence and intimidation of the Imo State Government.

The Supreme Court had clarified the issue of organized labour including civil servants belonging to political parties. They have the right to be members of political parties.

It's difficult to say what the job of a governor is, if he cannot pay monthly salaries after getting monthly federal allocations. What's the reason for the desperation for reelection including bullying of a leader. This is simply a display of uncivilized behaviour & political intolerance at the highest level in the State.
