@Dranoel

Who told you yoruba's are 50% muslim and 50% xtrians, anyway thats beside the point the Yoruba african tradition , forget what muslim or christanity permits allow us to have as many wives as possible, my Grand father had 20 wives like 60 kids if not more. How many wives did Abiola have?? nobody knows, so your argument that because the northerners are muslims there population should be more does not hold.

@DRANOEL - the italian americans were the bedrock of the italian economy after the second world war, ghanians have no oil, the only reason that country is well today is becos of the ghanians is disapora. When an african goverment says they want foreigners to come and invest in there country, who do you think the will best kind of foreign investor nobody than your own people abroad, they know the terrain.

There are more than 1million yorubas in london/UK, another 35,000 to 50, 000 in ireland and a large population in canada and the USA, yoruba states do not survive on oil but rather on money from abroad. We yorubas can survive without nigeria's oil. I grew up in ibadan and in my street in ibadan every single family has at least 3 to 4 members of their family in either london,US, canada and Ireland. Ghana has no oil they survive on money from their compatriots abroad. Yorubas should start thining of Oduduwa Republic, long live Odua republic. I am really dis-illusioned with the FG handling of the delta militias, they should wipe them out, and if they cant they should let everybody go their own, alas Oduduwa Republic,Biafra, and any other agitation from other region.

I think some questions needs to be frown upon, becos anybody that sins against the holy spirit shall not be forgiven, I feel the anti-christ are at hand here, those who love God, continue the good work, those that dont I wish you all the best. But Hell is real, and you if you dont live right you will bear the consequence.

Proverbs in Pidgin " Man no die, Man no rotten - what does it mean, it means you are fine. Used when someone ask you how you are fearing or how are - you say " Man no die, Man no rotten ". you can also use " Body de inside cloth " same meaning.

I am still a chelsea fan, I only like a bit of competition, exciting time await us in the prmiership. if you see my other comments, I said Chelsea will be 1st this year and Man Utd -2nd and Man City will be 3rd. Just drumming up support for Man City fans, your freinds freind is your freind and your freinds enemy is your enemy. There will be serious rivalry between Man Utd and Man City, that suits us well in chelsea.

Its high time Nigerians in abroad create alternative goverment, becos the nigeria goverment has failed us, The sole aim is to accelerate the developmental goals of the nation and make Yaradua's vision of leaping from a developing nation to industialised nation by 2020.
Objectives of the alternative govt

1. To hold a National congress of all nigerians in diaspora
2. The aim is to choose a National president of Nigeria in diaspora.
3.The aim is not to wrestle power with demoratically elected govt but act as an alternative govt in providing jobs for our young people, building busineses, buying land in large swathes of nigerian cities with the sole aim creating new alternative cities for our members, cities where everything works from electricity to water.
4.The president will be chosen through an on-line voting system armed with a budget of $1 billion dollars a year.
5. Top world accounting firms will be chosen to forensically audit the account yearly.
6. The president will have a vice - president and probably 10 commisoners.
7. The president will be on a salary of $50,000.00 and each comminsioners will be given $35,000.00 each, the vice president will be on $40,000.00
8. The terms will be 4 a four year term.
9. On appointment hte president and his commisioners shall relocate to Nigeria untill the end of their term.

How do we fund this grand scheme - The scheme would be funded by every Nigeria in diaspora from the ones in Ghana to the ones Austalia, if each Nigeria in diaspora contributes £100.00 a year this development goal can be acheived.

Who is eligible to be the president and commisioners, every nigeria in diaspora who contributes to the fund it does not matter if your a cleaner in diaspora or a professor. But it will be of great benefit if you attain some reasonable level of education.

So Nigerians in diaspora - I want you all to ponder over this proposal I am sure some of you out there could modify these vision and make it a reality. UP Nigeria, One Nigeria !!
Politics › Re: 'Return Home', Fashola Charges Nigerians In Diaspora by KnowAll(m): 9:07am On Sep 03, 2008
The Money from diaspora is whats sustaining the nigeria economy, its what is making the stock exchange roar, its what is making ordinary nigerians to afford basic things of life, buying a TV for your mum or dad, buying a new car for your relatives, buying land in choice areas in order to invest, and the list goes on, if this fund drys, the nigeria economy will collaspe, because any money gotten from oil is shipped abroad by our politicians

NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK - MAN CITY FC , UP Man City !!!![/size]

Arsenal and Liverpool will have to start fighting for the 4th position becos this season Chelsea - 1st, Man U - 2nd, Man- city - 3rd, that leaves the 4th place, and since Arsenal has not got deep pocket, I will give it to Liverpool, Baba Ijebu -Wenger will be playing UEFA CUP from next season, so they better make most of there last Championship appearance.

Too many cooks spoil the brut - I have come to beleive thats chelsea's problem, how else would you all explain Shawn Wright Phillips debut with Man city. I have always beleive chelsea's major trouble would be knowing who the 1st 11 players are, I think JM knew who is 1st 11 is but others may struggle.
Politics › Re: Four Nigerians That Can Lead Nigeria Better Than Obasanjo by KnowAll(m): 10:42am On Aug 29, 2008
My Choice will be Donald Duke, my people perish for lack of vision, Duke had a vision to turn cross river into El-dorado, you can imagine what he would have done to nigeria if the whole country was his constituent. He has vision, History has shown us vision is a pre-requisite for industrilasation. A good example was Adolf Hitler, he was man with a vision, built most of the auto-bahn in germany are still evidence today, built a car for the people - volkswagen, only failure is he bacame over ambitious and over zealous and that led to his downfall, one should not ignore some of the good leadership quality he had prior to the invasion of Poland in 1938.

Sports › Re: Can Anyone Ever Be Better Than Makelele In The Defensive Midfield Role? by KnowAll(m): 9:57am On Jul 23, 2008
There is a new world in the English dictionary the Makalele role, - that is a defensive mid-feilder that can hold the ball Makalele perfected that role in the 1st 2 season of Jose Morinho's reign. English soccer analyst used the word the makalele role several times during Euro 2008 when analysing different matches. So makalele's name has come to stay in the lexicon of soccer.

@Ezechi,

This federal character and state creation is just too costly for a poor country like Nigeria, how on earth can we fund 36 governors, 36 deputies, well over 3000 state house of assembly memebers, local goverment chairmen, and probably 10,000 councillors the list just keeps on going, by the time you pay all thes people there salaries, entitlements,bonuses, car, house allowances, school fees allowances for their kids I dont think there will be anything left in the coffers

I know why lagos state are objecting to the long closure of the bridge, the commisioners will be the ones facing the go slow, I dont think commioners use siren, its only Governors, so the commisioners, i will assume most probabaly live on the island and they will have to go to work at Alausa everyday. That journey will be nightmare for them, I guess it is Nija, lagos state govt will approve the helicopter to ferry her comminsioners over to ikeja, if they can spend millions of naira bringing Les Ferdinand to nigeria how much more ferrying her commisioners to work.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Nigeria Lost Over 20 Graduate In Immigration And Prison Recruitment by KnowAll(m): 10:54am On Jul 16, 2008
Y is it when a new state is created the 1st thing the governor will do is create a state university. I think this idea of creating university without subsequent job provision is riduculous, they should task all states that create a university to employ at least 45% of graduates evey year if they cannot meet this quota they should dis-ban the uni, its of no use if its sole purpose is creating a large pool of un-employed graduates. I beleive the sole reason why the states create uni is for the governors to embark on big capital project in which millions of naira will be spent and and nothing to show for on the ground.
