Politics › Re: Registered Voters Hit 84.27m — INEC by Konquest: 12:52am On Jan 19, 2019 |
Daniyke88: Statistics released by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says registered voter population has now hit 84.27 million.
The commission also disclosed that the collection of PVCs would continue until one week to the 2019 general elections.
Infographics obtained from INEC on Thursday in Abuja showed that over 14.55 million voters were registered in the Continuous Voter Registration, CVR, exercise, which began in April 2017 and ended on August 31, 2018. As at 2015, there were 69,720,350.
The new figure of registrants, 14, 551,482 brings the actual figure to a total 84,271,832. Of the new registrants, 7,863,917 are males, while 6,688,214 are females.
Within the period of the new registration, 869,406 PVCs were collected; transfer requests were put at 769,917, while replacement requests were put at 1,178,793. Elaborating on the figures during a meeting with Resident Electoral Commissioners, RECs, INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, recalled that for a period of 16 months, April 27, 2017, to August 31, 2018, the exercise was conducted continuously in all the states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, as envisaged by the Electoral Act.
Yakubu said though the total figure of 84,271,832 “may drop slightly after we run the Automatic Fingerprint Identification System AFIS, the current figure represents about 21per cent increase on the existing register.”
The INEC Chairman appealed to Nigerians to seize the opportunity of the ongoing nationwide display of the particulars of new voters for claims and objections as required by law. Requests for intra, inter-state transfers He added:
“In addition to fresh registration, the commission is also processing 769,917 requests for intra and inter-state transfers as well as 1,178,793 requests for replacement of lost, damaged or cards with misspelt names or incorrect personal details of voters as required by law.
‘’This means that the commission has to print a total of 16,500,192 Permanent Voters’ Cards PVCs and make them available for collection by citizens ahead of the 2019 general elections.
“Already, the commission has printed the PVCs for those registered in 2017 and delivered them to states for collection. I can also confirm that the PVCs for 2.7 million voters registered in the first quarter of 2018 have been printed and will be delivered to the states next week.
‘’We wish to reassure Nigerians that every registered voter will have his/her PVC available for collection before the general election.” The INEC Chairman further disclosed that the collection of PVCs will continue until one week to the 2019 general elections.

Politics › Re: Emmanuel Nwobosi And Nnamdi Kanu Meet In Israel, Speaks On 1966 Military Coup by Konquest: 11:55pm On Jan 18, 2019*. Modified: 9:59pm On Jan 19, 2019 |
ChangeIsCostant: Colonel Emmanuel Nwobosi, one of the army majors that planned the first 1966 Military coup in Nigeria, has fully opened up on the issue 53 years after. The 80-year-old former soldier spoke on the coup in a broadcast made on January 15th, from Israel where the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) currently is.
Below is the text of the broadcast.
Dear Biafrans and Progressive Nigerians. I welcome you to this historic January 15th broadcast on behalf of all those who carried out the Januarv 15 Revolution in 1966. I bring to you a message of Truth and Freedom for It is only the truth that can set us free from the bondages of War and Propaganda, which we confuse as history.
My name is Colonel Emmanuel Nwobosi I am 80 years old, It is time to be bold, I am too old to lie. I am not afraid to die. It is time to tell you why, we had to try.
I am the last of the original coup planners of January 15, 1966 with Major Kaduna Nzeogwu. I knew Nzeogwu well. We went to school together. We trained at Sandhurst Military Academy, UK. We lived together. Nzeogwu was our first Head of Military Intelligence and uncovered terrible plans to wreak havoc across the country. We organised a group of progressive military officers to carry out a coup on 15th January, 1966 to stop a Jihad and bring sanity to a Nigeria steeped in nepotism, corruption and mass murders. The Government of Tafawa Balewa, controlled by the Premier of Northern Nigeria, Ahmadu Bello, were using us in the army to repress the Middle Belt and Western Nigeria. Houses and cars were burnt. Thousands were killed. All these happened between 1962-66.
There were nine of us that planned the January 15 Revolution: Majors Nzeogwu, Anuforo, Ifeajuna, Ademoyega, Chukwuka, Okafor, Onwuategwu, Obienu and myself. However, four of us started it. Major Ifeajuna and Major Ademoyega in the South; and Major Nzeogwu and myself in the North. We then united as a single revolution. I am the last of the four original revolutionaries. None published the complete truth. Only me, Colonel Nwobosi, is alive today, to tell the Final Truth, so that the lies will not triumph forever.
They used us to repress the Middle-belt and the Yorubas. When we saw genocide, we began to disobey orders and swore to stop them. For instance, Major Anuforo refused to release mass murderers caught with weapons, and was court martialled. He was replaced by Major Hassan Katsina, a Northern Muslim, willing to act. I was in Abeokuta but refused to repress Yorubas, instead I opened our barracks as a safe place for them to run to. They told many lies about the January 15 boys, to justify their genocide, but it is those of us that planned the revolution that they should have killed, not the three million innocent Biafrans that knew nothing.
For years I kept quiet, blaming myself and wondering whether at 27, I was too radical that my actions led to the deaths of millions. Today, the same evil in 1966 is being unleashed. As I watch, my sense of guilt has vanished, because we were not the evil. We were trying to stop the evil. That Evil is Radical Islamism. I have decided to speak out and warn the world of the impending disaster if we do not stop it.
Each time Radical Muslims plan a Jihad, in their religious mission to conquer the world, they will fail, but in the attempt, thousands and even millions will die. That happened to us in Biafra. At this point let me differentiate between peaceful, law-abiding Muslims and Radical Muslims who want to kill others to force their religion on them. The problem is that wherever peaceful Muslims are, there are some Radical Muslims amongst them. That is why they began a Jihad in 1966. That is why we had to stop it. That is why they killed millions of our people. That is why we declared Biafra, because we are a peaceful people and oil and water can never mix.
My story is a warning to Nigerians. For years, I was prevented from speaking the truth by exile, prison, harassment, poverty, surveillance and death threats held over many of the actors like Ojukwu, Zik, Awolowo, Ibiam and the January 15 boys that survived. But as I watch today, many of the events that led to our revolution are happening again: Boko Haram, Fulani Militia, Niger Delta Militants, Shiites, IPOB and mass murders.
Some people think we acted wrongly in carrying out the January 15 revolution, but they may not be fully aware of the realities then. We were trained by the British to be patriotic, to give the ultimate sacrifice for Nigerian and to stop anyone acting against the nation.
Instead of our leaders using us to defend Nigeria they were using us to suppress citizens. We, decided to arrest them for their atrocities because no one was willing to act. Not Zik, the President, who was powerless, not Ironsi, the Head of the Army, who was a conservative. There were many reasons why we had to act:
1. To stop the killings in Yoruba land and the Middle Belt by NPC the ruling Party;
2. To stop the invasion of Yorubaland on 17th January, 1966;
3. To correct the massive rigging of the 1964 elections;
4. To free Awolowo from Prison and make him the Prime Minister;
5. To stop the terrible corruption, nepotism and regionalism of the NPC, the Ruling Party;
6. To stop Ahmadu Bello’s planned Jihad.
It was good that we acted to save the Yoruba and the Middle Belt people, and we thought that was enough to stop the Jihad. We could not foresee that they would massively attack innocent Igbos. Blame those who decided to massacre our people for their evil. Today we are fighting Buhari. He is killing Shiite Muslims and IPOB members. With the benefit of hind-sight we can see other ways of dealing with such evil, but for us in 1966, we just wanted to save the people from massacre.
I wish to congratulate Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB for the good work they are doing to free our people from Nigeria and Radical Islamism.
Many of our people do not understand how vast IPOB is, as an organisation and the quality of the people that run it. On arrival in Israel, I started meeting high quality professionals and I was amazed. I don't know how IPOB united power professionals abroad, power traders at home and ordinary people from market women to even riff raff all under one IPOB family, with world-wide Radio and Television.
Every Igbo and Biafran should be proud of them. They are the strongest force we have today to achieve freedom for all Nigerians. No wonder they can take on the Nigerian Government and win. However, it is money that makes things work. I shall donate 10% of all the profits of my new book to IPOB. It is my tithe to freedom. Tithing is God’s tax to raise money for the government of the children of God. I urge you all to regularly do the same so we can have the resources to achieve our objectives.
On this day of 15th January, 2019, the anniversary of our Revolution, I want to hand over to Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB, the baton of the January 15 boys, so you can complete the revolution we started. I am the Ogene Obosi, a Chief and elder of the Obosi people. I bring to you the blessings of the Ancients. I fought for Biafra; I was wounded for Biafra and I shall die for Biafra. Iseeee.
We carried out the coup and partially succeeded. We went to Kirikiri Prison with Nzeogwu and other coup planners, where we shared our stories some of which were recorded by Major Ademoyega and Captain Ben Gbulie in their books. I fought with Nzeogwu who died at the Nsukka Sector. I mourned my leader and friend. I also knew Ojukwu well. I was his Chief of Operations in the Biafra War. We went into exile together. On our return he made me his ADC. I put it all in my book, 1966: THE DARK TRUTH.

VBCampaign: Remembering Kaduna Nzeogwu
By: Deji Yesufu
January 15th is Nigerian Armed Forces Remembrance Day. It is also the day Major Chukwuma “Kaduna” Nzeogwu and his colleagues in the military carried out the first coup in Nigeria. Fifty three years ago, about the time of my writing this essay, the revolution had been completed. Notable politicians, particularly those of northern extraction, had been killed. It was not a particularly joyous moment for the mutinous soldiers because except for Kaduna town, where the revolutionaries had taken out the most influential politician in Nigeria, the Sarduana of Sokoto – Sir Ahmadu Bello, the revolution had failed in other parts of the country. Nzeogwu had been cut with a dagger by one of the guards of the Sardauna and was being attended to by a Physician. In a few moment, he would be live on radio to announce the success of his putsch in Northern Nigeria. Here is an excerpt from my book Victor Banjo on Kaduna Nzeogwu:
“Ckukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu was a Sandhurst-trained military officer. He was brilliant. He was the first Nigerian officer to be trained in intelligence. Nzeogwu was a son of a civil servant; he was born in Kaduna town and was nick named “Kaduna” because of his fluency in the Hausa language and his understanding of the culture. Nzeogwu joined the army simply for revolution. He was not sure he would survive it and so he never got married, for fear of leaving behind a widow and fatherless children. Those who knew him said he maintained a high standard of morality and was not one of those officers given to drinking or womanizing. He was a devout Catholic. Nzeogwu never hid his revolutionary ideas. He shared them openly, although only a few people knew how exactly he sought to carry them out...”
By 1963 Kaduna had met Adewale Ademoyega and Ifeanyi Ifeajuna, and the trio began the planning the coup in earnest. While the coup was successful in Kaduna, it failed in Lagos because the mutinous soldiers could not arrest Aguiyi Ironsi, the most senior military officer at the time. The coup was about to kick-start in East before the mutinous soldiers there were rounded up by soldiers loyal to Ironsi.
One might want to ask: is it worth remembering Kaduna Nzeogwu, considering that this man’s actions plunged the country into political instability and finally into a civil war? I think he is worth remembering because history has not been kind to his name. At the time when the coup occurred, many people praised the efforts of the revolutionaries; including people in the international community. A few months after the revolution had occurred, Nzeogwu’s senior in the army, Victor Banjo, who himself had been falsely implicated in the coup, said this about the coup: “These men ... were the ones who gave this country a new lease of life, and their actions were acclaimed by the people of this country and by the world...” He made this statement some six months after the coup, to show that it was not just mere euphoria that usually follows the take over of governments in Nigeria. Until the counter-coup of June 29, 1966, the Nzeogwu coup was regarded as popular and it was the reason the government of that time could not execute the mutinous soldiers.
Only recently did I learn that the great Tai Solarin named the road that led to his Mayflower Schools in Ogun State “Kaduna Nzeogwu Road”. I understand that before the coup, Nzeogwu was a frequent caller at Mr. Solarin’s home. He would usually go and listen to the sage talk about humanities and how to make Nigeria better. Most people who worked with Nzeogwu had a high regard for him. No less a person than former President Olusegun Obasanjo wrote a voluminous book on him titled “Nzeogwu”.
Kaduna Nzeogwu and Emeka Ojukwu were not friends at the period of the coup. The coup had failed to go beyond Kaduna town because Ojukwu, who was the military garrison officer in Kano, refused to cooperate with Kaduna – an officer he considered junior to him in the army. Ojukwu would later go to Lagos and join forces with Ironsi. So in March 6th, 1967, when Ojukwu released all the mutinous soldiers under his region, the East, he did not release Nzeogwu. But students of the University of Nsukka carried out demonstrations and roused public sympathy on Nzeogwu’s behalf. Nzeogwu was subsequently released but Ojukwu did not entrust any command under him when Biafra went to war with Nigeria.
The civil war broke out in earnest in the first week of June 1967. The first theatre of war was the northern region of Biafra – around Nsukka. The Nigerian troops had come in through Makurdi and were met with stiff opposition by the Biafran soldiers. Unfortunately in less than a month of fighting, many of the able men in the Biafran army had been killed. Kaduna Nzeogwu died at war around this time.
The period between 1960 and 1966 was a very tumultuous time in Nigerian history. The British had given the reign of power to the Northern part of Nigeria – a section of the country that was least advanced intellectually. And with the parliamentary system of government, which required that the Prime Minister come to the house of assembly to defend his actions and policies periodically, the Obafemi Awolowo led opposition in the House continually floored the Prime Minister and his party in debates. A Nigerian press that was equally dominated by people from Western Nigeria also brought a lot of embarrassment to the Balewa government.
To save its face, the Balewa government had to carry out a lot of high handed actions. The height of which was imposing treasonable charges on Awolowo and jailing him and a few of his supporters. The Western Region, Awolowo’s stronghold, was plunged in chaos. Out of that chaos came the January 15th, 1966 coup.
With a benefit of hindsight, perhaps unbridled courage was the ruin of Nzeogwu and his fellow revolutionaries. But he cannot be blamed for corruption, selfishness and nepotism, which happened to be the bane of the politicians of those days and today too. Chukwuma “Kaduna” Nzeogwu sought to leave a better Nigeria for all of us. His method was certainly not the right one and clearly must be denounced. He however remains a national hero for many till this day.

Olufemi Atoyebi, Eniola Akinkuotu and Adelani Adepegba, Abuja The North- West geopolitical zone has the highest number of registered voters in the country with a total of 18,505 ,984 voters , according to statistics obtained by The PUNCH from the Independent National Electoral Commission .
The South - West zone , which comprises Ekiti , Lagos , Ondo, Ogun, Osun and Oyo states , comes second with a total number of 14, 626, 800 registered voters , while the South - East which has the lowest number of states has 8 ,293 ,093 registered voters .
According to the statistics Lagos now has 6, 048 ,156 registered voters , while Kano comes second with 5, 149 ,070 voters .
With a total of 754, 394 , Bayelsa has the lowest number of registered voters , which is lower than the Federal Capital Territory with a total of 952 , 815 .
So far, the total number of registered voters across the country is 73,944 ,312 . The number of registered voters was as of January 2018.
However, INEC projects that the number of registered voters might reach 80 million before the December 2018 deadline for voter registration.
The total number of voters in the 2015 elections was 68, 833, 476 .
Over 5 ,110 ,836 persons have registered between April 2017 when the Continuous Voter Registration began and January 31, 2018.
The number of uncollected Permanent Voter Cards remains high as less than half of the registered voters have collected their PVCs. Lagos , according to INEC , has over 1 .4 million uncollected voter cards.
*Buhari will seek re -election in 2019 –SGF
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, on Thursday affirmed that President Muhammadu Buhari would seek re- election in 2019. He stated that there was no alternative to Buhari , adding that other presidential aspirants had nothing to offer.
The SGF spoke at the Unity Fountain in Abuja while addressing a rally organised by the Democratic Youth Congress , led by its National Chairman, Kassim Mohammed. The group had urged Buhari to declare his intention to contest in the 2019 presidential election .
Mustapha said, “ We do not have an alternative to President Muhammadu Buhari for now. I will present your message to him . I congratulate you for your support for President Muhammadu Buhari to run in 2019.”
The SGF, who was represented by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political Matters , Gideon Sammani, said Buhari was widely known for his stance against corruption and indiscipline , noting that many people feared him because of his uncompromising position on graft .
Mustapha argued that it was the corrupt individuals that were against the President because they were apprehensive that they might be brought to book .
He added , “ We all know that Buhari is transparent , honest . He has come with the change philosophy. He has lived for this long to bring change to this nation . Since his military days, he stood to fight corruption and indiscipline.
“ Many people fear him because he does not compromise , and corrupt people are afraid that they will be brought to book . And those who have already looted the treasury of this nation are being probed by the security agencies . By the grace of God Buhari will not relent in this fight .
“ He will continue ; the politics of this nation is no more the politics of money or do - or - die. Anybody who wants to lead this nation must make sacrifices . Buhari has already transformed and changed the image of leadership and that of our leaders in this country , both locally and internationally , ” the SGF noted . The convener of the rally stated that his team was ready to work for Buhari ’s re- election in 2019, adding that they were working with over 15 state governors to actualise the goal .
“ We are calling on Buhari to come out and make a public statement to run in 2019. “ If this does not happen between now and Monday, we will be forced to go to court and invite him to come and make a public statement. Some of our leaders are misleading the youths in Nigeria that power should be given to the youths ; we are not in a hurry, ” Mohammed said.
*Akinjide tells INEC to delist underage voters
A former Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory , Jumoke Akinjide , has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission to remove the names of underage children who registered to vote in the northern part of the country . Akinjide made the call on Thursday during the 2018 Peoples Democratic Party Youth summit , which was held in Ibadan , Oyo State.
The meeting , which had in attendance hundreds of youths from across the 351 wards of Oyo State , unanimously called on INEC to scrutinise the voter register and delete names of those who were not eligible to vote .
Akinjide , who commended the restiveness of Nigerian youths over the years, said, “ When youths are involved in politics , they are on the right track to progress. Youths should make a difference . I want youths to make a success of their participation in politics . And the INEC should provide a fertile ground for democracy to thrive. INEC should take all reasonable steps for democracy to work in Nigeria . It should not only promise what is right, it must convincingly be seen as doing so .
“ One of the surest ways to go about this is by disinfecting the system from its moral virus by disallowing underage voters or by stopping aliens from neighbouring countries from getting Permanent Voter Cards which , in most places , are not even accessible to eligible Nigerian voters . ”
Present at the summit were a former Majority leader, House of Representatives, Mulikat Akande - Adeola ; Senator Olufemi Lanlehin, a former Secretary to the Oyo State Government , Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli ; and the PDP National Youth leader , Udeh Okoye , among others.

lyricalpontiff: IS BIAFRA THE ENSLAVEMENT OF MINORITY ETHNIC NATIONALITIES OR WHAT?
In his book - 'There Was A Country', Professor Chinua Achibe asserted that the concept of Biafra failed from the very beginning because Odimegwu Ojukwu declared a 'premature' war on Nigeria. The late literary icon strressed that Ojukwu's refusal to consult with neighbouring ethnic nationalities before embarking on his 3 years fruitless secessionist campaign led to the avoidable death of so many Igbos, especially in Port Harcourt.
How can you be talking of Biafra in Port Harcourt without first seeking for the consent and support of the Ikwerre ethnic nationality - the original land owners of Port Harcourt? Even the British - our colonial masters had to sign an agreement with my forefathers when they landed on this shore; how much more our Igbo brothers who are now agitating for Biafra?
You can't be talking of marginalisation in Nigeria, while you malign, despise and disrespect minority ethnic nationalities in your own backyard. How can you import people from Abia State to come and protest over the heads of the indigenous people of Rivers State?
Who told you that Ikwerre people are interested in your Biafra?? ^^^^^ ^^^^^ "Respect begets respect!"
Calabar, Ogoja, Rivers State Movement [COR] of the 1950s and 1960s emphasised this FACT in the struggle to free their areas from the Old Eastern Region because of the perceived Ibo domination which also led to the English-speaking Southern Cameroons leaving Old Eastern Nigeria for Cameroon.

Jonathan empowered OPCs in Lagos and they were destroying anything in Ikorodu to Ojota that looked like opposition party. Orga of DSS was used to invade APC secretariat, Journalist arrested and Newspapers siezed, we forgot all these….
Ekiti was militarised, Fayose was given power from Aso rock to order Military guys at will. Fayemi the incumbent at that moment was rendered powerless that he was shouting when Police commissioner was used by PDP and a guy was shot…All these videos and pictures are still here (google is your friend). But who is the dictator? BUHARI!
Ex-President Jonathan met FX+ECA at $62 billion+. He DEPLETED it to less than $30 Billion in 5 years Jonathan sold crude oil for 5 years at an average of $100 per barrel of 2.2 million daily (2010-2014). Did he add a DIME to Nigeria purse in 5 years? NO.
Buhari the ILLITERATE sold oil at an average of $50 of less than 700,000 barrel at some points because of militancy, yet had moved that FX to $47 Billion in 3 years.
Don’t say how much did he borrow if you don’t even have the figure borrowed between 2010-2015 without adding a dime to FX. Who is the ILLITERATE? BUHARI!
Jide Omokore, Aluko and oil goddess Alinson made an oil deal of N1 trillion and chose not to remit to Nigeria under GEJ. Did anyone raise eyebrow?
INTEL of Ex-Vice President Atiku refused to remit to Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA), not until last year that “ordinary” Hadiza the NPA boss challenged INTEL and insisted the funds must be remitted.
A Christian Professor had been leading JAMB all through Obasanjo to Jonathan yet for 40 years of JAMB; only N52 Million was remitted to FG.
A Muslim Professor who was appointed just in two years of handling JAMB remitted over N15 Billion. FIFTEEN BILLION. So who is following after righteousness? For five years of Okonjo Iweala was paying over 45,000 ghost workers unabated, yet just within 3 years, “ordinary” Kemi Adeosun removed such nonsense… I ask again who is more effective? Ordinary Abuja metro lane took 11 years from OBJ period that he INITIATED it… Ordinary intra-city metro lane o, but President Buhari that finished is within 3 years is the failure abi?
“Which project did President Buhari INITIATE and COMPLETE in 3 years yen-yen-yen”.
Mention any major project INITIATED AND COMPLETED in 3 years of Ex-President Obasanjo, or Ex-President Yar’Adua or Ex-President Jonathan?
So on what parameters are you using to judge 3 years of President Buhari INITIATING AND COMPLETING? Even PDP can’t finish their own secretariat let alone that which belong to NIGERIA.
Lagos-Ibadan road since Ex-President Obasanjo era till Ex-President Jonathan could not be finished. In 3 years of President Buhari, the road is receiving serious attention. Ask those who ply that road and those who go for Holy Ghost Congress monthly about the difference in pace of work.
Wait, even Otuoke road in Bayelsa had to wait till President Buhari now starts to do the road. Who is the failure? Can it be BUHARI!
What about “Almajiri School in the North? WHERE exactly are these Schools SITUATED in the North? OK, show us the picture.
Emm, 2nd Niger Bridge? Lol, they completed it on the MAP, yet Fashola is on it PHYSICALLY now.
Did Buhari fail on security issue in Benue? YES. Did others before him fail on the same security issue in Benue? YESSS. So where did you get all these noise of “Fulani President” is helping herdsmen? Who was the President during Jos crisis, herdsmen killing people in Zamfara in 2013, Odi massacre, Kaduna crisis? You think death suddenly started because President Buhari was a Fulani man? That he failed in that is one thing, but that YOU are making a narrative of “Fulani President” is giving herdsmen power is funny. January 1, 2018 in Omoku, Rivers State, Christians were coming from Church; cultists from the South South killed their own people. You know why there was no serious noise by CAN and you? You could not link it to President Buhari’s herdsmen or Fulani herdsmen. The same WIKE that did not drop a million to support the families of those bereaved in his constituency (State) went to Benue State to donate N20 Milliion and you hailed him Kidnapping of School children in Lagos; Badoo issue in Lagos; Crisis in Kaduna.
Who did you call on? Ambode the Governor of Lagos and El-Rufai of Kaduna.
When crisis happened in River State and Benue State, who did you shout about? President Buhari the herdsmen. What about your Bishops, Pastors and Imans that made Aso Rock their abode between 2010-2015? What did they negotiate for the body of Christ or common citizens? Yes, they got their jets; they got waivers and Universities all PERSONAL.
Now that the tap to fuel their jets and lifestyles had stopped, all they tell you from the pulpit is “LIES and Prophelying“. Your anointed ones keep saying ANNOYING THINGS, yet you can’t query their lies?
Wait, I remember again your problem with President Buhari fighting corruption selectively. So, mention ONE name among those in EFCC case without a case to defend. If your hero Presidents had fought corruption with one leg, by now shebi it is the second leg that President Buhari will be fighting.
So what is your problem with the corrupt facing the music? Oh, how about blablablabla. If President Buhari did not catch them, somebody else will. But stop crying in defence of the corrupt being asked to face the music. If your uncle is corrupt, tell him to face it, and stop shouting how about other thieves.
I know you lost your job because Ex- President Jonathan lost out and your job with Mama Patience was terminated. But stop using your personal loss as a yardstick for Buhari’s achievement.
Under your hero, several young Nigerians were SCAMMED by Boro collecting money from them for Job, in the process killing many young Nigerians. Ex-President Jonathan cannot even sack him. So what do you want the families of those who died when Ex-President Jonathan scammed them of Jobs to do? Stop crying and face life.
For your information, all those lies about “hidden agenda” can only fly on you because they know you are biblically illiterate. I even saw somebody hailing Femi-Fani Kayode for being the voice for the Church. Haaaaaa, abomination. Abeg make I stop, come dey collect your abuses in packs. After all your abuse, na President Buhari I go still vote for.

lyricalpontiff: The Ikwerres that support biafra obviously didn't witness the civil war. Elechi amadi's autobiography was launched yesterday and it exposes a lot. One will wonder if the past will repeat itself if biafra ever comes. With the events in the book, Ikwerres should know that the igbo agenda is still strong and lingering. ^^^^ ^^^^ Ice-cold, chilling history!

Just Imagine!
How can a whole Chief Judge of Nigeria "forget" to declare
€49,971.71, £23,409.66, $391,401.28
The chief judicial officer of Nigeria, the highest of all learned men.
Even if he was permanently working from abroad, he'll never get these type of balance in his account.
Onnoghen must surely have sold justice to the highest bidder at different times. No wonder PMB was non-committal to his ascension to the exalted position. ^^^^^^ ^^^^^^ It beats my imagination too...
It would be the worse case/ form of amnesia in medical history for a whole CJN to forget he has such amount of money in his Domiciliary Account! |

khalidx: This is a rare photo of Kano state governor Ganduje and Senator Rabiu kwankwaso riding a bike in 1981. They have really come a long way kwankwaso seated at the Rear ^^^^^ Fantastic throwback picture
Look at how they have both expanded facially... You would never know that that is Kwankwaso hitching a ride on the back seat.
Kano had a lot of those Vespa's in the late 1970s and 1980s.
Brilliant!

NigeriaIsDoomed: Still under investigation for how many years? ^^^^ ^^^^ I wonder why it is taking longer than expected too but let's see how the next few weeks roll by... or even shoot another email to EFCC to make enquiries... and if he is innocent as he is alleging... then he should by let off. They say in the legal parlance in Nigeria that you are INNOCENT until proven GUILTY... I've never been a fan of that comment though. I prefer the French legal system where you are GUILTY until proven INNOCENT!

Onnoghen is on trial while Babachir is campaigning for Buhari.
Nigerians are not ready for good governance yet - y'all are bunch of jokers. ^^^^^ ^^^^^ Babachir Lawal's case is still under investigation by EFCC and he will come under trial anytime EFCC are ready to try him. |

ExAngel007: President Buhari and the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen, were all smiles as they shook hands at the Armed Forces Remembrance day.
This photo comes amidst Onnoghen's planned arraignment for not declaring his assets since he assumed office in March 2017.
https://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2019/1/photo-president-buhari-and-cjn-walter-onnoghen-all-smiles-at-armed-forces-remembrance-day-celebration-2.html ^^^^^^ ^^^^^^ Justice Onnoghen said he FORGOT to DECLARE THE $3MILLION in his Domiciliary Account! Tell me who does that?... but then again he could be suffering from amnesia... but he has already indicted himself by his admittance. If he is subjected to a thorough Lie Detector test [Polygraphic Examination test] and it is proved that he forgot, I would be willing to just let the issue slide.
Polygraphic Examination tests MUST be included in the criminal justice system in Nigeria just like it is done in America to weed out LIARS! Lagos State has done well in having the FIRST DNA Forensic Laboratory in Nigeria.
I like the man though, he looks gentle. |

BabaO2: Reno omokri is insulting Yoruba obas. Traditional rulers don't need to be at Tinubu's house before they can be bribed or given money, people involved are more intelligent than the crude allegation. ^^^ ^^^ Reno Omokri is an Itsekiri guy and Itsekiris are related to Yoruba and Edo peoples... and he should know better not to run his mouth by insulting Yoruba Obas on his stupid twitter page, based on outrightly false allegations.
What he and others are doing will backfire on the PDP Campaigns in the SW states, and Yoruba-speaking parts of Kwara and Kogi States if the Obas decide to take full action on this.
This is how Olisa Metuh, Femi Fani-Kayode, and others were making hate speech comments before the 2015 elections, with Olisa Metuh calling APC a "janja.weed party and a M.uslim party," and such comments backfired on PDP in the far Northern States because potential voters took note of these insults on BBC/VOA Hausa Services. When PDP loses the elections, they will then say that APC rigged it. It think FAILURE is ALREADY loading for PDP with this kind of uncouth behaviour from people like Reno, Ologbondiyan, and others who post FAKE NEWS and make inciting statements on behalf their party!
Enough said! |
