You can’t just rush in and out and become a sonographer. You’ll need to be a Radiographer first in some countries before you get certification or degrees in medicine, nursing etc. In Nigeria, I believe that it’s a post graduate program, in the Uk...it’s the same. In Greece, only medical practitioners aka doctors are allowed to practice ultrasound.

Even if you don’t require degrees in these fields, how do you read the images and make reports.

It’s a band 6/7 jobs in the Uk. That’s how special the job is.
