Burr and Toomey are already retiring. But Trump will certain primary Collins, Murkowski, Sasse and Cassidy in 2022. Romney I think is safe because he has a strong base amongst the Mormons of Utah. Trump's hold on the Republican party at the moment is very strong.

Collins, Cassidy and Sasse isn't contesting until 2026, as they just won reelection. They may even retire willingly if they senses a dwindling support by then. Romney's is in 2024. He's even getting old and may even retire also. If Romney contests again, he'll be primaried. That is if Trump still maintains his cult followship among Republicans by then.
primaries are different from general election. If Romney escapes the primary, he'll surely get reelected as independents would vote overwhelmingly for him.

Media pundits try to infer from voting strength of party who may be leading the early vote but majority of the votes will be cast on election day. And thats when republicans vote in droves. Democrats usually vote early, so even if they are leading now it may be eating up on election day.
