The Mathematics you do at WAEC is very important, because the truth is that at that level all you are doing is mainly Arithmetic. We all need Arithmetic, which is the branch of mathematics that deals with real numbers and operators to be good Poet, Lawyer, Linguistic or Engineer.... But we do not all need the other aspect of Mathematics which deals with unreal numbers, Calculus, theorems, integrations, differentiations, etc. Except for a very few questions, every question in your WAEC is Arithmetic and not the Mathematic that the Engineer or Scientists would need to be good in their profession and Yes at that level at least a P in Arithmetic should be compulsory to read any course in the University. |
...so why would the sport writer use examples within Nigeria to judge the greatness of this 'sport paper' and indirectly his own greatness, but want to use examples in England to compare Osaze? Fair is fair; Judge Osaze with local Nigeria clubs if you want to so judge yourself or better still judge yourself by an international standard or sport writing standard in England if you want to so judge Osaze. |
LagosShia: ^Bullshit! If McCain had won the Presidency and not Obama, Iran would have been licking her wounds by now. Obama is more restrained, there is enough war drums from the American right wing now......, such that the next time the GOP gets the Presidency of the US, bombing Iran will be one of their top agenda and priority. |
Wiz-Prince:It is big white lies that, the US citizens did not make noise with those Clinton pardons....they did, the US is even more polarized than you know. Democrats are out to criticize almost everything that a Republican President did before asking questions...and Republicans will return the same favor to a democratic President 24hrs a day. |
Π@$S:Even if it is legal and both of what to flip the middle finger to to your families and the society, what about the potential medical and genetic issue that your kids might be faced with as a result of this union? Do some google about potential danger of blood relatives having kids. Again, you might or might not encounter this issues, but why go into it when you know that it is very likely? |
Beauty and the Beast. |
Victoriousvic: Tis called the daytime running light....it's a feature of most cars (esp. Toyota vehicles), i wonder why you put on your lights, you're draining your battery...If your car battery dey drain while the car is ON/Driving no bi the light wey dey on cause am oh! It is more of a sign that you need another battery or check your alternator. |
naptu2: That's why they are called intersexIntersex is an attempt to correct a wrong perception but it is still a mis-normal. Our geni-tals does not always defines our sex or sexuality. 'Intergenitals' is a more correct reference than "intersex" because most people in this category identify with only one sex despite multiple geni-tals. |
Some people wicked oh! How can you call a human being an hermaphrodite? Human beings are incapable of been hermaphrodites. It is possible in some lower organisms like some species of snails, fishes, etc. Hermaphrodite means, the ability to act as fully female and fully male. Being a male does not stop at having some organs dangling between your legs nor does been a female stops at having a full grown bossom. There is more to being a female or male genetically, biologically and physiologically than some physical anatomy that are hormonally driven and controlled. Yes, someone can be born with both male and female attributed physical anatomies, some can even be born with double anatomy of the same kind, but they only identify with one sex. The sex they identify with might not line up with the physical anatomy but it does not make them any less human than the rest of us. These are human beings created by the same God, the only difference is that, they have some birth deformities that prevent who they are physiologically to line up with their physical anatomies. It is no different than being born with a physical deformities like six fingers or joined twins or a left handed person or someone that stammers. We are quick to identify and empathize with people with physical deformities, because we can see and feel the deformity and quick to judges and condemns those with physiological deformity because we cannot see or feel what they are going through or what they are....whereas, God created both; love both and sends Jesus to come and die for all including them. |
So based on the OP's myopic view, one can only contribute to the development of Nigeria by living physically in this Country? Nigerians abroad were the second largest GDP contributors to the Nigerian economy in 2012, second only to Lagos. Meaning these set of Nigerians are a whole State to themselves and contributing their quota to the development of this country. |
bankyblue: Guys, b4 we start pass judgment on that guy, that tanker looksEven if that is the case, it is wrong...note that he is selling the diesel from his engine tank(from where his tanker gets diesel to operate). It is like a company driver, selling fuel on the road side from his company fuel tank. It appear that the tanker itself is used to carry commercial kerosine. |
adaobi123: i am not being rude but was this a love marriage ?Just like every other marriage out there, this might be based on conditional Love. Am yet to see any marriage that is based on unconditional love. Though the condition varies from one thing to another; for some it could be, the other person must be born again; attend my church; from my village; graduate; handsome; rich; black; white; height; fat, thin, average; beautiful; from a particular tribe; good bedmatically; social; pastor's test; simple; beautiful; etc.... Some have a combination of the above conditions....Some people call some of these conditions vain, vanity and others worthy...but since Love is in the eyes of the behold, each individual value proposition of these conditions differs and no one is right or wrong...just different. |
deols: This report get as e be o."...a mustached face like a man but with a pair of big size bosoms dangling on the ches..." A mustached face and a bossom is a dead give away, |
Ranks007: Even as disorganized as Nigeria is that mistake is unlikely to occur + state governors even go along with much as 3 cars in their convoy! This was not some type of convoy...Presidential limos, patrol vehicles, motorcycles, medical ambulances, etc are airlifted separately and arrives at the destination and ready to go before the President's Air Force One. Since they also air lift Petrol & diesels in tanks and pump them into the various vehicle in the Airport hanger where the cargo plane with these Vehicles landed, it is possible to make mistakes like these. I have not heard of the Nigerian President or Governo Airlifting their convoy vehicles ahead of time to each country they visits. |
victorazy: Who told u "No religion preach evil"?What you failed to mention is that, those violent "crusaders" were also Christians or those who professed and believe in Christ. |
No, but I usually put it inside my wife's...for that intimate body warmth...we cuddle almost everyday until one of fall asleep and roll off into deep sleep. |
It is very difficult to stop a habit, especially one that have been formed over 11 years. Habits like these are hard wired into your brain such that, you do them unconsciously and even against your better judgement. The best way to stop a habit is to find a less evil substitute for it. Look for something else to substitute this craving with and gradually wane yourself out of it. A substitute but in no means less evil, might be self servicing...each time you are egulfed with the surge to go see an aristo; try self service; that could kill the surge within you and buy you time and the more time you buy yourself, the less frequency to aristos. With time, you can start replacing self servicing with some more positive. I just picked self servicing, you could think of other outlets, some people who smokes take to it, others who drinks take to drinking...smoking and drinking are not good habits either and am not suggesting those to you...just giving examples of outlets...You could join a gym, book club, etc something you can fallback into immediately to relief yourself. Another option is to look for a church, a band or anything...buying a yooga mat and forcing yourself to do yooga is also good! |
jmoore: I can send you an email with any email address as the sender.Yes, you can manipulate the 'sender field' of an email and write whatever 'from address' but the email can still be traced to the actual sender and domain. All the info needed is there at the header of the email hidden from view but visible by a view clicks by someone who knows what they are looking for.... |
OP, I do understand your point; but it is really beside what occurred here and yes, not everyone within an organization knows the organization's website...it is understandable and can be excused.... But the case here is different...There were lots of fraudulent websites that came up purporting to be from NSCDC and deceiving job applicants with promises and making them to part with money...do you think that the individual or representative that NSCDC sent to an interview that will address this situation and give direction to thousands of these job seeker would at least know the actual website that job applicant can use? Initially, this guy said...'they are many websites' further confusing the issue and then said 'his oga at the top is the only one that knows the website to be used' then why did he accept to come to the interview? It is inexcusable that he does not know the website address and he was arrogate about it. He would have simply told the reporters that he did not know the address and promise to get back to them and would have called them later with the correct address and the reporters will air it for the public and those job seekers. |
Unless INEC or PDP is somehow behind this, shouldn't INEC by default reject registrations like these? I thought INEC have some prerequisites before they register a party e.g. presence of that party in multiple States, etc....and is this not the same reason given by INEC to de-register a lot of political parties not too long ago and also refuse to register many? The truth is, anyone can not just walk into an INEC office and hand them a registration application else we would have seen more than a thousand registered parties in INEC's books. |
Why him travel all the way to Abuja, FRSC no get office for Abeokuta ni? Abi dis na part FRSC photo-op? |
coogar: your brother should take his international passport to the bank. national IDs are invalid in nigeria - too many of them around and bank officials don't know which is which. without a passport or driver's license, your brother has no case.I think he has a case, If the ID he presented was not valid, they should not have released the money. Asking him to paid N10K in lieu of a valid identity is criminal on the part of Bank official. |

Based on your comments, killing and stealing since they violates the 10 commandment are mortal sins. A rape victim has not committed any sin against God and is not under any divine condemnation. The Sin unto death for which there is no forgiveness that the bible talked about is Apostate. In some bible verses, it is called 'sin against the son of man' or 'sin against the blood of Christ'; the Bible says, for these there is no second sacrifice as they have sinned against the first sacrifice made by the blood of Christ. Purgatory is a subject for another day. |
Becoming an Apostate is a sin unto death that cannot be forgiven. |
Giving what you have described, maybe he is trying to protect his assets. He might be looking at the financial implications of a divorce hence he does not want to go through it. You might be surprise if you offer not to seek child support, sponsor support and any kind of property sharing, etc; he might agree to the divorce. You guys have lived more than a year apart, so each person must have with them their various valuables in term of cash, property, business, etc.... |
OP, you paint with too wide a brush. For every single accusation above leveled against a tiny percentage of NID, you can find an equal or more percentage of NIN holding the same beliefs. This is the problem with stereotyping...Some NID and NIN complains about Nigeria and still some NID and NIN extols the virtues in Nigeria. I can pickup that your write-up and represent every single reference to NID with NIN and it will still be 100% and as relevant and accurate as your write-up.... So stop making much ado about nothing! We all love this country call Nigeria, there is no place like home. NIN do not love it more than NID. After all, many NIN have left their villages to Lagos and many urban centers in Nigeria to pursue their dream, and still believe themselves to be tightly united with their villages and they do not hold back when they read in prints customs, beliefs, events, etc.. they are well aware of but do not conform to the norms of a modern society, still taking place back in their villages. |
Most unbiased spectators will want to cheers the under dogs, Nigeria have the title two other times...This is Burkina Faso's first appearance in the finals; so it is naturally for most people to root for them. More so, it presents an image to the outside world that; African footballer is developing and evolving and it is no longer a sport talents are monopolized by a few countries. Had it been Egypt of Ghana in the final against Burkina Faso, it would have been the same sediments and am sure majority of 9jas will root for Burkina Faso against Ghana... |

playboy19: Just a waste of time and money, it's not like you're expecting anything different from iphone 4 in terms of looks or whatever, they all look the same and do the same thing. Only zombies find reasons to upgradeIt is obvious that, you have a myopic view behind why people upgrade hence the above conclusion... I upgrade every year and I do it because: 1. I make money, albeit very small out of the whole process. 2. I get a brand new device. I had the iPhone 4S and sold it for $455.00 and turned around and bought iPhone 5 for $199, if you add tax and activation, it is approximately $230.00. I have done this since the first generation iPhones, each year I get the new iPhone for I do not pay extra out of pocket for it...Your next question will be 'impossible'...'How did you do it?'...you will agree that, a Zombie will not be able to answer those questions, right? This is how I do it: 1. I have a two year contract phone. 2. One year after, I added a non-smart space phone to my contract for $10/month. This phone have shared minutes with my main phone. It is for visitors, etc. 3. Yearly, I pay about $120.00 for the second phone and this phone also have two years contract. 4. This setup ensure that, each calendar year one of my phone's contract has a expire. 5. With the freed up contract, I buy a new iPhone for that year at the $199 price point. 6. If the expired contract is the nonsmart phone, I swap-out the two phones with the carrier at $0.00. 7. This is what I have been doing since the first iPhone... So lets calculate the yearly expenses/income: Expenses: 1. Non smart phone = $120.00 2. New iPhone = $230.00 TOTAL = $350.00 Income: Sales of old iPhone = $455.00 (This phone is able to sell higher becos it has no contract, the new one is about $650.00). Pocket Money for this yearly ritual: Approximately = $455 - $350 = $105 plus a brand new, latest model iPhone! YES, if apple comes out with iPhone 5S or 6 tomorrow, I will be trading in my current iPhone 5 for a new iPhone and line my pocket with some dollars while doing that.... |
femmyb: A cardinal from Ghana and Arinze of Nigeria are said to be top favorites.I seriously doubt Cardinal Arinze, he is 81 years old (born 1932). The current Pope was even younger than Arinze when he was select in 2005, I do not see the Cardinals going for someone very old again. |
omicron: You are a disgrace to womanhood.Agreed, calling him a child molester is going too far, but the facts remains that when he was a Bishop and a Cardinal; hundreds of Child molestation cases were cases were forwarded to him so that he can defrock the offending Priests; the case of the molestation of about 200 deaf kids in Wisconsin comes to mind and he did nothing about those cases. Legally, he fits the profile of an accomplice or an accessory after the facts. I know that the consciousness of his followers will revolt against such a label, but that does not change the facts. |
2buff: This is Nigerian thinking. You better hope you STAY in Nigerian then and not leave. You know that is not true...Nigerian marriages still last longer than what is obtainable in the western world. The divorce rate in the US is now between 40 and 60%...i.e. For every three marriages in the US, two will be heading into divorce. You can say the same with Nigeria. This high rate of divorce is not unrelated to the equality agenda been pushed. That said, If both parties work, there should be some sharing in the house...but I still hold it firm that the ladies should be in charge of the kitchen, what I mean by this is...She directs all eating affairs for the family, this does not mean that, she should be cooking everyday or every-time, she can decide either dinning-out, cooking, ordering-in, buffet, etc....she owns it; however, this should not be done often, am still from the old school, who beliefs that, my wife and not some other woman or man(at the restaurant, hotel, dinner, etc) should prepare my food. I do not care doing the laundry, or doing the dishes or cleaning the furniture, or giving the kids bath and preparing them for school...even if she wants some time out away from the kids to be with her friends, so that they can do those 'female stuff' that is kool with me as well....I go out with my friends away from the kids, why shouldn't she...sometimes I take the kids away from the house to the |
