50calibre: Very touching pictures, except for the first one. Church goers pledging support for homosexuality is a sign that God has forsaken them.
Jesus dine and wine with sinners, no where in the Bible did Jesus denigrated sinners...he was even more fierce with the religious church going Pharisees....to the religious pious Pharisees which is represented today by the church goes, He said 'woe unto you....' To the sinners He said..'these go into the kingdom of a God...for the first shall e the last and the last shall be the first.

God does not and has not written anyone off.

On hearing my story, my mother(I love dat woman) gave me a very BIG STICK saying ''Go back and meet dat boy again with this and make sure u give him a beating of his life or 4get food in this house 4 a week!!!''
Driven by the prospect of not eating food for a week, I returned to school with my stick poised 4 action. On sighting me and the stick, the boy must have smelt trouble... he took to his heels... For where? I caught up with the boy, gave him a very thorough 'romancing' with my stick and returned with 'good' news to mum. She smiled and said, ''know this: nobody can make you inferior without ur consent''

This is not new, the water that runs in almost all houses in the USA are recycled and treated water.

People that are expressing shocked here are not thinking logical....Where do you think the water you drink a few moment ago came from? Was it manufactured by God and dropped shipped to you? All water we drink or use today world wide are re-cycled and treated or synthesized either by nature or by man.

The good thing about man re-cycled and treated water run by towns is that, they tell you and publicize the chemical components that come through the tap at your house.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Pregnant Woman Sold Unborn Baby For N200,000 by linearity: 2:36pm On May 24, 2013
We are seeing the re-incarnation of the commoditization of the human being.

Just like 419, we learnt this line of business from the Whiteman, but as business genius or should I say evil genius, we usually go a step further than the Whiteman.

Unlike the whiteman who introduced and profited in this line of business before us; we are now making downpayments even for the unborn to be sold.

The other differences I see is that; the buyer this time around are not whitemen and their alleged reasons for entering into the trade differs a little bit from that of the whitemen.

The sellers also, are no longer been forced to do it out of the threat or fear of bodily harm, or under the duress of a gun or to safe guide their property or to retain their social status and standings; the sellers are now doing it willingly, voluntary and cheerfully. But the identity of the sellers still remain the same.. He/She is a friend, a neighbor, a family friend, an influential individual in the society, a trusted acquaintance, a criminal from the other village or town and a middleman. Some middlemen maintain a central clearing houses like of old, but some still prefer, the street corner, the secret bush path, the isolated building, etc.

Like 419, this line of business is here to stay, until the government does her job to either discourage it like prescribing the death penalty for all offenders or by improving poverty levels and disseminating information about the proper adoption criteria and also clearly codify in our laws that, the exchange of pre-contract aged individuals is illegal, even if they are done by their biological parents or trusted acquaintances under the directives of the parents.

Kids and teens are still been "rented" today on a daily bases in Nigeria for temporary or semi-temporary bases, some for monetary gains and the general public or media does not make any noise about it, because they think that it is okay...I am talking about eg a couple or someone in say Lagos going to the village and getting some kid or teen to come stay with them to do some errands in exchange for some monetary compensation for the parents back in the village and some promise of a good life and eduction. If the society on average thinks that the above scenario is acceptable, despite the fact that the teen is not old enough to enter into any contract and many times these decisions are done without their consent, then what is wrong if the biological parents does the same thing today but on a permanent basis? Where do we draw the legality or immoral line? Is it only when middlemen and women are involved or it is only when the kid or teen is not ours or is it only when people are forced into it?

Because of the blurry line between its legalities and what society have pre-accepted as the norm, some people doing this today does know if they are breaking any law or doing anything wrong and many of them are lied to by these middlemen/women to hide the gory details.

Personally, if gift/benefits exchange hands or are promised when exchanging any kid or teen, who is not legally able to enter into contract, that should be illegal even if the biological parent and some good intentioned individual are involved.

misterh: The Palmers are already dead- David, Sherry and that his brother, who later became the pres. Rene too is also dead. It was his death that drove Jack hyper-crazy in Season 8. Can't wait to see season 9.
Through the power of movie, they can make all of them come back to live. One thing I like with 24hr is the twist and turns, you do not know who is an enemy or a friend and you do not know the event that is real or been put forward for show as a decoy in other to achieve a greater 'good.'

President's Palmer death and public funeral can be spin as a decoy to deceive the terrorist that he actually died. They can spin it that, he was rushed to an hospital where he survived the shot to the head and all these was kept under raps.

Remember how the Secretary of Defense, James Heller's car was torpedo by a rocket launcher and many gun shots from the helicopter and his car was airborne and nose-dived into that lake with some explosions? Well, through the power of movie, he survived with just some minor bruises.

I hated it, when Nina Myers died; anything she is on scene, I know there is a twist and he acts double & triple agents plots very convincingly, hope they find a way to bring her back to life.

I was waiting to read how eating banana influences the Y spermatozoa and not the X from the male to fertilize the egg.

Women only contributes XX chromosome; Men contribute the XY and as such they are in a better position to influence the gender of a child.

Except, there is something in banana that selectively kills the male X chromosome or impend their ability to swim faster in the race to fertilize the egg, then this research is a waste.

This survey is like say... take the survey of all new born babies in LASUTH and if boys out number girls, then we can conclude that if you go to LASUTH to give birth, the chances of giving birth to a baby boy increases.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Is It Better To Send Cvs In Pdf Or Word Format? by linearity: 11:59pm On Apr 23, 2013
MS Word is always better, recruiting companies logs CVs in a central database from where they do a keyword search against current openings; though PDF is searchable but word is better.

Also, lots of recruiter like to edit your CV aka resume to remove your contact information or to add keywords and things specific to the opening after speaking with you. This way the hiring company go through them when trying to contact you and not you directly and also to let your CV stand out. Many of us might have the experience, but they might not be presented in a CV in such a way to catch the attention of the hiring company's HR....The recruiter knows all these.

Christianity EtcRe: Big-Bang Theory Doesn't Make Enough Sense by linearity: 12:42pm On Apr 19, 2013
The OP, is probing into what is above his comprehension.

Firstly, the link you posted did not contradict the Big Bang theory, rather the discovery of the 80mil additional earth years confirms the Big Bang theory's postulation.

Secondly, any good Christian who knows their bible well, will appreciate the Big Bang theory and will clearly see that, there is no conflict between this scientific postulation or other scientific theories and the Bible.

The Bible did not tell us how the earth was created, it simply stated "God created the heaven and earth" out of nothing and within a day.

The Big Bang theory is an attempt to explain the process, the chemistry and physics involved in the earth's creation. The theory postulated that the earth expanded out of a subatomic particle (so tinny that your normal micro scope will not see it, which essentially is nothing) and that the earth came to be in matters of seconds.

While, the Big Bang theorist will not see the hand of God, the christian, reading all these discoveries will purse and give God the glory for such a miracle.

The bible simply tells us God created the stars and put them in the skies to rule the night. None of ever asked how come the stars are not falling..we all believe that it is the supernatural power of God...but the studious Christian after further research will come to appreciate that, this supernatural power of God is called gravitational force.

Most great scientists are Christians, God is the greatest scientist ever. Man will continue to strive to understand God's scientific mind, the bible predicted it, so it is going to happen but just like the wall of Babylon, as man draws closer and closer to 'finding out' their progress will be halted by God....this could be the 2nd coming of Christ.

Car TalkRe: Car Thieves Gone Digital! by linearity: 2:50pm On Apr 09, 2013
This has FAKE written all over it...except you must be driving a very very old Car...as in cars manufactured in the 70s that through some futuristic magic have remote control locks.

All remote locks in Cars, Garage door opens, etc use what is called 'rolling codes'...aka each time you press the remote it releases a fresh new set of codes different from the one released in the previous press.

So if someone captured my code, they are just wasting their time because that code is now obsolete. Your remote control is capable of release unto 1 million different codes, so that thief must be ready to keep following me around town and over many many years and keep capturing every single code...then wait for that perfect time to replay all other back to my car to open it...

Meaning, if the average person press their remote say 100 times a day (this is on the high side, but let work with that for giggles), it will take them about 27 years to capture all the codes, you now see how stupid this ***warning is***

cap28: It still shouldnt be breaking news

Im not a fan of Wesley Snipes but i think he was used as a scapegoat - there are so many US corporations that do not pay tax eg Amazon and Facebook.
@cap28
Yes, Snipes was used as a scapegoat, the IRS can not possibly go after every single case of tax fraud or people not filing...they go after the big buck to make a statement...they also try to avoid going to court, Snipes did himself in by arguing that, the US tax code is unconstitutional and that he is a non resident alien of the US and as such not subject to the US tax codes...had he settled with the IRS, he would not only avoid prison, he would have negotiated down his tax obligation and even setup a payment plan...

That said, you are wrong in comparing Amazon, Facebook, etc to this situation. Certain people are excluded from federal income tax filing (state could be different, depending on the state) based on age, filing status and income level...had Snipe made an income less than $9k, he would have been excluded from filing his taxes, the government was able to prove he made millions in those years he refused to file his taxes and he also made fraudulent & fictitious filings in certain years in order to obtain a millions of dollars bigger return from the IRS.

Also, filing taxes and eventually having a tax obligation of $0.00 due to credits, deductions, offsets, etc is not the same as not filling your taxes or filing fraudulent and fictitious taxes. Amazon and Facebook file taxes each year; they are both publicly traded companies and as such their tax filing is one of the financial records they must keep.

Now it is possible for them not to pay anything for reasons indicated above, that is not a crime...there are millions of households in the US who have a negative tax obligation each year - i.e. the IRS sends then a check each year after they file their taxes...these checks is a net income to them, because they either did not pay into the system by way of tax withholding or the IRS check is greater than their withholding.

Joseph Goebbels said, 'If you tell a lie long and loud enough, people will eventually start to believe it'.

Why does the US operate a two party state? You have to dig up facts, crosscheck them and you come to understand that somethings don't just fit.....

Of course, Russia, China, North Korea and even YOU,etc have their pitfalls. But they come out and say who they are and where they stand.

The western democracy and institutions today is only of face value... They scream of corruption in Africa, yet they welcome it by helping our leaders store looted wealth amongst other things. Cmon, it just doesn't make sense. If you are FUNDAMENTALLY against something in TRUTH, you reject it TOTALLY.
Dude, I love an intelligent conversation; you would have done more service to history by pointing where I went wrong other than a blank pointless tirade....I have a lot of research and facts behind my comments, if you point at something wrong with facts of your own, I can look them up and retract my if your pans out more accurate.

I still stand by my statements; The US government just like any other President of a major Country in the world today are influenced by many groups outside the government. The Chinese President, the Russian President, The French President, etc all have Power bloc and internal brokers influencing and shaping their decisions everyday, but the final and ultimate decision is with the President of the US....and the American people are also an influential force that the President listens to.

The US does not have a two party system, there are multiple parties and Independents; there is no law preventing multiple parties...but they have two major party not out of any law or scheme but out of necessity...If you have multiple parties, it become difficult to check the ruling party, because as a party your power is in your number. Nigeria started with multiple parties but PDP was virtually untouchable at the top...right now all the other political parties in Nigeria are realigning and before you know it, we will have two strong national party in Nigeria...what is happening is not some conspiracy, it is just necessity and this is one of the areas I think that IBB was a genuine when he codify two party system in Nigeria in the democratic process after he left office.

Not everything is black & white or good & evil or truth & lies...there are shades of grey in between. There is no Country or Presidents or government out there that are 100% good, 100% trustworthy, 100% truthful as you indicated. What you seek is an utopia world, an utopia President, it does not exist.

Yes, in Heaven or during those 1000 years of Jesus reign on earth; that government will be 100% good, 100% truthful, etc but remember that Jesus' reign will not be ushered in until that great battle they taught us about in Sunday School call Armageddon; where multiple evils will be committed; people will be slain; their blood will flow like rivers on the street, their bodies will be left on the street for days for birds of the air to feed on...this is ultimate evil...if this happen in today's world...we will all label the leader of the new world order evil, nazi, devil, wicked, etc. Well, we all give it a pass because it was done by the Lord and for good of the citizens of the new heaven and new Jerusalem....That is the same way power Presidents make decisions today.

@cap28, you again?

Well, I will cut you some slacks here; yes the President of the United State is influenced by a lot of outside groups and congress is also influenced, but the ultimate decision making stops at the desk of the President and Congress. This said, the most powerful influence in America is the America people and not Council on Foreign Relations or the Brookings Institution....If the American people does not want to go to war in North Korea, the President and other influential groups have to sell the war to them and how it will be "good" for them....what am saying is very complex, but that is what it boils down to.

Back to the "Fed is not own by the American Government" fallacy. As a one liner, that sentence is correct, but as you start to dissect the Fed, you will find out that it is an independent spin off of the American government, setup for public and private good....also:

1. The US President appoints and Congress approves all Fed Governors & Chairman. Which means, these Governors & Chairman servers at the pleasure of the US President & Congress...You cannot appoint someone to oversee what you do not own.

2. Yes, the Fed are "own" by Private Banks to the extend a stockholder "owns" a copy he bought shares from. These Private Banks must contribute securities to the Fed funds for use by the Fed; for this these Banks get a guarantee 6% dividend each, year...All profits made by the Fed each year minus expenses are turn over to the US treasury...another nail on the liner that, "US government does not own the Fed"

3. The US congress by statute can dismantle, dissolve, disband, scrap, delete, sack the Fed...you can not have power to delete from existence what you do not own.

4. The Fed is a non-private, non-public, profiting making and independent spin of the American government, given full autonomy to operate by the American government...these autonomy can be checked and controlled by the US congress.

The Fed is a good illustration of the United State government, setting up a profit making financial entity to serve as her Banker of last resort and to gain trust of investors and foreigners, the US isolated itself from the Fed's operations and decision making; allow major Banks to invest in Fed funds in return for guarantee dividend each year for their deposits and by law these Private Banks cannot remove their deposits; the US treasury gets all left over revenue from the Fed each year after expenses has been deducted; the US government have the last say on who becomes a Fed Governor or chairman..and US congress still have oversight powers over the Fed...

If I formed an inc company and appoint the board of directors to run it on a day to day bases but I do not part take in any business or decisions of the company, but let the board of directors, who are the expect do their thing and allow investors to invest their money in my company for returns...but all revenue minus expense are paid to me directly each year...and I appoints the members of the board of directors....and I can change the laws and statute of the company anytime I want...I can also dissolve that company anytime I want....

QUESTION: Are mine the owner of that company?.
ANSWER: Your guess is as good as mine.

In essence, the Fed is own by the American Government.

cap28: sorry to disappoint you but their economy will collapse before this year runs out - the only thing keeping the US economy propped up now is their military.
I hate to break the bad news to you...The world top Countries' GDPs are trading in lock step pattern...They all peaked somewhere around 2007 and start falling from there...they all picked up and start rising in 2009 and peaked again 2010 before they started falling again.

The bitter truth is, if the US economy collapse; it will take with it the economy of many many nations worldwide and some nations will even kick the dust and get buried first as a result of what happened in the US...case in point; the current global economic crises, started in some little high riser office in NYC...see how that virus spread across the world taking some countries into ruin while the US is still standing.

I think you should start praying for the survival of the US economy because your survival might lay there too...in the same way the scriptures admonishes the Israelite to "..seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace"
Foreign AffairsRe: North-Korea Prepares Rockets To Target USA by linearity: 12:49am On Apr 02, 2013
@cap28;
I am not going to banta this issue, we both obviously have strong positions on this and the gap is very huge....but I want to say a few things.

..their debt holding is $1.4 trillion, but this does not change the fact that this is a humungous amount of money that the US has no way of paying back
I want to believe that, you understand that, American's "debt" to China is bonds...and that bonds just like any other financial instrument are public securities, that can be traded (bought/sold) publicly. I also want to believe that, you also understand that China can sell those bonds in the market anytime, any day, anywhere...without intervention from the US(i.e. China ONLY have the SOLE right to sell their bond holding at any time of their choosing). I also want to believe that you understand that the US is not obligated to buy those bonds back from China (except when a US monetary policy requires the intervention of the US Fed to take the excess bonds out of circulation or when the bonds become mature) but that China can sell those bonds back to the marketmakers or the general public?

If you understand all of the above to be correct, another puzzlingly question is...why do you think that China is refusing to sell those bonds, even when the US economy was at its lowest in 2008? Moreso, since the dollar interest rate is very low now, meaning the bond prices are very high, so China will make a killing if they call their marketmakers or Bankers tomorrow and say..."hello sell all those $1.4T US treasury bonds first thing tomorrow morning"...

Moreso, if your doom day scenario of American's inability to "pay those humungous debt" is true, why wouldn't China put a nail on the "Coffin" of the US economy by selling those bonds...thereby assuring her quick rise to economic dominance over the US or do you think they are not selling the US treasury bonds out of self pity for the American economy?

The gospel truth is, China need those bonds more than the US, they need the revenue generated by their bond holdings; they need the stability that the dollar provides and as we speak, they are begging for more US bonds to buy.

Bonds have a finite shelf life, the owner can sell/trade them anytime, anyday, anywhere before their maturity date and the issuerer redeems them when their maturity date is due.

I have read some of your comments, they are very intelligent and you know that saying that 'US has no way of paying back the debt' is misleading, misplaced and hyperbole...China can in fact sell all their US bond holdings first thing tomorrow and they will have their cash in their hands...but China will not do it, because it will not be to their interest or economic survival.

..this is why it is currently running a national deficit of $16trillion - as a result it has to go a borrowing how is that a positive thing?
Again; about $11.00T to $12.00T of the US so called "debt" is own by the US Fed, the American People and the US SS trust fund. It is like a brother owing a sister money, they all belong to the same family; that figure only exists on paper aka the US Fed's balance sheet. The US Fed and the US congress can move numbers on that balance sheet around, because it is an internal affairs issue, just like a brother and a sister can settle their debts through which-soever method they choose. e.g. during the Bush years, many items were excluded from counting towards the national debt, when Obama came into office, he changed the accounting.

..recent figures show that US consumer demand for chinese goods is actually declining due to rising unemployment
I will challenge you to post your source...In fact, US demand for Chinese products increase by 22% over last year, and demand from Europe and the rest of the world declined, this is even when American is in an economy crises.

..so why have US multinationals outsourced the bulk of their manufacturing capacity to china? they dont seem to have been put off by the communist system in china.

Printing of money without simultaneous production of goods and services = devaluation of your currency and in some cases
Companies establishes anywhere they can make a lot of money, that does not mean, they trust the local currency, they will put bulk of their reserve currencies in dollar and exchange them only when needed.

I believe you understand that, the print value of a currency have no relevance to its world dominance, influence or investor's confidence?

The Pound, the Euro are stronger than the dollar; but dollar have more dominance...The Canadian dollar & US dollar exchanges at somewhat the same rate...hope you are not equating both because of that print value?

...in my previous post i stated that china is now devleoping a domestic consumer orientated market so that it doees not have to be too dependant on export markets, its doing this by improving working conditions for its people and gradually increasing wages. .
The avg salary of a graduate in China is $470.00/month and in the US it is about $4,500/month. The average Chinese graduate needs two months salary to buy iPhone produced in their backyard; a gradual government increase in their wages is not enough, if the goal is to compete with US consumers, they need astronomical boost in wages from the government (which will lead to more printing of the Yuan, thereby devaluing it) or through some type of laws mandating companies to start paying higher wages (which will make companies to start running away, because the cheap labor that first attracted them to China is no longer available).

Finally, the economic dominance and power of a Country's currency is measure by how much of that currency is held overnight or reserve by third party entities and Banks around the world other than that Countries government or entities.

Right now, the US dollar is the Reserve or anchor currency and worldwide reserve percentage is around 65% (compare to other currencies), followed by the Euro at about 25%;..the Yen, Sterling, French Franc & Swiss franc are each doing a sub 5%...while your almighty Chinese Yuan combined with other Country's currencies...by the way including the naira are sharing a sub 5% world wide reserve value.

I trade currency, if this your optimism exists in the currency world, people will be buying the Yuan hands over feet and holding them as reserves....then change them only when they want to transact business.

China does not even make the list of the world top most 25 innovative Countries. They are very good at copying innovations from other countries and patenting them locally. When a country's growth is hugely influenced by in-flight of foreign investments & innovations and local indigenous companies are not at the forefront of the innovation, that growth is a bubble and will burst as soon as those in-flights turns into out-flights.

shymexx: Terrain can also work against the deployment of whatever technology the Americans have got....

And who says this can't happen to the Americanshuh No matter how advanced your technology is, you'd still need people on the ground to give coordinates - hence why most countries deploy special forces on the ground for aerial bombardment...

The same applies to the Americans as well... Everything goes through Pentagon...

Till the end of time, number and infantry will always be important... I still don't believe any weapon can wipe-out everyone - some are still going to survive... Heck, some people survived hiroshima and nagasaki... That's why ground forces will always be a necessity in any war of attrition...
"... Heck, some people survived hiroshima and nagasaki" And what did the people that survived Hiroshima and Nagasaki did? Can you remember? Yes! They surrendered and the war ended!

If there will ever be a war with NK, it will be won and lost over the air and with Kim opening his mount about nuking the US, do not be surprise for the US to preempt that and it will be Hiroshima and Nagasaki all over again and ground forces will be ordered to stay out in order not to get radiation poisoning...

chronique: This thread is quite interesting to read. Infact,I read every single post from the first to the last. There's something some posters here need to know. In this 21st century,no nation with military might should be underrated. North korea didn't just start developing nuclear weapons overnight. It took them years of hardwork to achieve this. Anyone underrating them is just being naïve. In the 21st century and against a military giant like america, you can't just come out to blab or make empty threats. The assumption that NK will be overrun by the US is just a fallacy. America lost more than 6000 soldiers in the afghan and iraqi war and they spent a lot of money financing those wars. Money that would have been spent in improving their economy. They've just come out from libya where they've spent some amount too. Only that this time, they were smart enough to use the libyans to fight their war, thereby, minimising american casualties to the minimum. The war against iraq, afghanistan and libya put together, would be totally different from this. In iraq, afghanistan and libya, you had countries with internal crisis which aided american victory and provided weaker oppositions. In iraq and afghan, you have the shiite muslims and the sunni muslims.you have the taliban, kurds and turks(hope I got that right). Within them, they have issues and as we all know, when there's a crack on the wall, the lizard will find its way in. In NK,you have a stable govt, united nation and determined citizens. Who all share same belief. Coupled with this, they have a very large military and they manufacture their weapons and equipments(which you can't call inferior). They will not be easily overrun by the US. This is one war that the US really won't want to fight(if they had their way) cos it's going to be pretty expensive. The consequences would be better imagined. The american economy needs more attention than an unnecessary war with NK. I can't say for sure if this is the beginning of world war3 but I know for sure that the end is coming for america soon. For those who think the Korean leader is dumb for showing an attack map against the US,I'd advice you guys think carefully. The entire NK military won't be so daft to actually tell the world how they intend to attack america. The real plan is underground. I used to wonder why most arab nations hated america and britain until I started observing things carefully. The major problem with the american govt is its foreign policies. These policies are only favourable to the US. Take for example, this: The american govt has a policy that allows them to try and convict citizens of other countries for crimes committed in the US. Yet,they expect other countries no to convict their citizens whey they commit crimes;they always want them to send them home for trial. This is more or less a situation of I can kill your citizen but you can't kill mine. Unfortunately, several african countries(including nigeria),are under this bondage. Any country that doesn't dance to the tune of the americans,is either branded as a terrorist or a dictator. The late osama bin laden was a menace that america created in the 70's to destroy the soviet union. He was trained, empowered and funded by the US. But when he became a torn in the flesh for the US,they quickly branded his as an enemy of the world. Cnn is quick to tell us how bad he is but the fail to tell the world how he was created by the US. In my opinion, the US is the no one terror nation in the world. They're always meddling in the affairs of sovereign nations. Remember how osama was killed? The pakistani airspace and sovereignty was totally violated. The black hawk was flown into pakistan and their radar didn't detect anything. There was no consultation whatsoever with the pakistani authorities. They left an entire nation embarrased. What it means is that they can assassinate any world leader if they feel like doing that and everything will be done smoothly. If we want to be sentimental cos we all hated osama,we'll excuse their actions but if we want to go by rules, sovereignty and rights of a country,we'll all agree it was a wrong move. Now,not all countries and leaders are comfortable with this american level of high handedness. No true leader wants to be under the control of another. Libya for example has been turned into ruins. The various militia groups that were outsed by ghadaffi are back in power and are the ones trying to form a Coalition govt. Weapons are in the hands of these groups and a new problem has been created. A peaceful state has been turned into a volatile region and it's been made possible by america. The war against iraq wasn't approved by the UN. It was purely an american affair. Saddam was accused of having nuclear weapons and was killed after destroying his country but there was no nuclear weapon found and america hasn't apologised to the world for that action. What do you call that? Isn't that terrorism? Iraq and libya were destroyed cos they had leaders who defied the US. Unfortunately for us(africans),we couldn't see the signs. The only true and fearless african leader was killed and his country, left in ruins. In africa,we have over 52 countries but can't boast of one leader who is not a puppet of the western powers.

America is ruinning the world and unfortunately, the black race can't see it. All the lies been fed us from bbc and cnn are what we believe. Most nigerians have forgotten how cnn used to show ajegunle and all the slums in lagos when talking about nigeria, thereby giving the world the impression that that's what nigeria actually looks like.
Comparing Iraq and Afghanistan war to a possible war with NK is comparing apples to oranges...the above two wars were ground invasion with air support and with a targeted goal of rebuilding after the war.

With NK having a potential Nuke, the goal will not be some rebuilding or some ground invasion focused...in fact, a good modern day example will be Hiroshima and Nagasaki and it will be fought and won in the air.

NK will rely on some form of delivery system to carry their nuke thousands of miles to the US where anti-ballistic missiles will await their arrival and shot them down, whereas the US Aircraft Carriers are already in the high sea a few hundred miles away from NK border ready deploy thousands of missiles and stealth bombers deep into NK territory...

In a war, every side will suffer some casualties...but the last man standing wins.

cap28: america is bankrupt - fact

47million americans are on food stamps - fact

the bulk of US manufacturing jobs have been outsourced to china and other far east asian countries - fact

those jobs will never come back to the US - fact

all of the above have contributed to the decline of the US economy, therefore the US is currently in a position where it will never generate enough income to pay off its debts and its creditors know this - fact.

there is no other way out for america other than to go to war.

china is one of america's largest creditors and she knows that to continue to trade with america will spell doom for her economic advancement hence her plan to exit from the dollar once and for all - take a look at the BRICS countries - take a look at what they are planning - they all want out of the US dollar because they know america's days of glory are over.

the US ultimately will have to go to war with china and russia in order to preserve her economic dominance but this will lead to a thermonuclear confrontation which may end civilisation as we know it , but the sociopaths who run washington are so desperate to hang on to power that they are willing to sacrifice millions of lives in order to retain their position of economic and political dominance.
@cap28,
You just displayed your ignorance about world military and economy powers play...

Facts...
1. China only own about $1.5T of total US debts; the majority of the US debt is own by the US Government (ie FED aka Central Bank of the USA) and the American people.

2. US annual budget is abt $3.8T, more than twice the debt own by China.

3. China is happy to own US debts and if it become an overwhelming national security issue to protect the US government, the US Fed can via Quantitative Easing (QE); make China's $1.5T paper weight and pay it off.

4. The US defense budget is twice higher than the other top ten world defense budgets put together..i.e. the combined next top ten world defense budgets is about $400bn and the US defense budget is about $800bn. If you care to know, the who is who of the next top tens..they are China, Japan, Russia, France, Saudi Arabia, Germany, India, Brazil, etc...You can see how your comment about China becoming a super power is laughable.

5. Russia was also a superpower along with the US; the US reduced them to no.2 without firing a single gun shot, and you think they do not have a play book for 'super power wanna be' China?

6. Yes, low income US jobs moved to China...but the US is the largest market for Chinese made goods. If it become a matter of survival, the US can shock that market by implementing some little import policies and China's economic 'boom' will be history. Do you realize that, those Chinese workers cannot even afford to purchase the products they are making? They manufacture these products under strict quality assurance policies put in place by the parent companies in the US...the best picture that comes to mind is the Chinese are slavishly working their butts off to manufacture these products for their US masters (ie US consumers)...that is not a picture of an economic power, it is revised slavery; where the US masters no longer carry the low wage workers in ships to their territory but allow the low wage laborers to remind in their home countries to do the same work, but under strict QA conditions with no human overhead and cost.

7. The US dollar is still the world dominance currency. When the dollar lost its triple A rating last year; world investors rushed in and bought more dollars. They perceive any weakness in dollar as an opportunity to buy more dollars against the day it will go up...which other currency will they buy...is it the Yen that is been artificially manipulated by the Chinese government? Once government start manipulating their currencies, investors will start having cold feet.

8. Remember that China is a communist State...majority of her industries are State owned, very difficulty to instill world investors' confident in a government owned entity where the rules and policies can change anything and are not subject to investors vote or approval.

Finally, you can see that American is not bankrupt because its debts only exist on paper i.e. the Feds balance sheet and if the Feds so desire, they can buy out China. The truth is China needs the US more than the US needs China.

The only 'crime' he seems to have committed is fail on his part to share the lot.

This is typical 'shop alone die alone scenario', had he share the windfall appropriately with at least 14 of the lawmakers, the impeachment votes would have turned out differently or alternatively, the investigation would have died prematurely and wouldn't have been any impeachment vote.

From my experience, maths was the easiest subject and I hated English with a passion and but love Maths and always Ace it.

My brain lights up and ready to assimilate every and anything whenever the Maths teacher walk into in the class but it shuts down whenever the English teacher is teaching and all am interested in is when he is going to leave.

So, it really boils down to where you put your focus and love....
