kowema:Carry go my sister, nothing do you. |
internationalman:There is 1.2 firearms in the USA to everyone there, which the number of firearms in the US outnumbered the population by a ratio of 1.2. Yes, this are both registered and unregistered firearm aka legal & illegal. While US occupies the enviable number 1 spot worldwide in firearm ownership, Nigeria is chilling at number 150. See for yourself: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estimated_number_of_civilian_guns_per_capita_by_country |
So, how can we confirm that there is no bra true true, when the thing is covered? |
kowema:Why haul blames at the bride? That is our human nature, to defend what we think we know against the unknown. So, are you telling me now that, if for a moment you swap places with the bride and a total stranger came out of no-where, with these types of accusations against your Prince Charming, you will pause a little to lean credence to her tales? Nothing I have said above suggestions that, the lady is lying or saying the truth about the rape accusations....just addressing the above poster’s deposition. |
moderatedguy:Am looking at it from the student’s perspective though. If the lecturer falls as you stated and the student got the camera recordings catching the lecturer red handed in the act....so, what is the next step for the student? If she exposes the recording or coordinate with a news organization to expose the lecturer, the lecturer will know the exact student behind it and wouldn’t seat idling and watch his career go down the drain, without mounting a fight back against that student’s academics. Most lecturers in that school will be sympathetic to their colleague, who got ‘victimized and setup’, and covertly target that student’s grades, especially if they engage in the same act as their colleague, which wouldn’t be surprising, since that act is rampant. Or the student keeps the video recording secrets and use it to buy the submission and behavior of that lecturer under the threat of exposure, if he does not compile or fall out of line....well, the student just got herself into trouble, because that blackmail and it’s against the law. Either way, it is loss-loss for the student, that is one of the reason some students don’t even report these incidents, the school knows it happens, they will bury the report or ask the student to go settle the differences with the lecture, but she have exposed herself to other lecturers as a ‘rat’ and they will put her on their radar. |
GEJDHERO:You are dreaming, no current student will be that stupid to jeopardize their career over that. If you are still a student and you plant a camera to setup a lecturer like that, forget it...the other lecturers will make sure you become a perpetual student for live! Secondly, it does not make sense. If the student is reluctant to see the lecturer or have affairs with them, why willingly go meet the lecturer and surrender yourself to him, which you hate...just to get a video evidence against him, most students in this category will want to avoid seeing the perpetrator unless compelled. Conversely, if it the type of student who love the affair and are benefiting i.e. using what they have to get what they want aka good grade...why in God’s earth do you think, they will be wiling to jeopardize that relationship and good grades over some stupid covert camera, which in their thinking is of no benefit to them? In both cases above, the students will be taking unnecessary risk as their identities will be known, whereas they are still students; you wouldn’t even advice your own sister to try that in Nigeria! Decoys who are professionals are used worldwide in investigative journalisms like these, to protect the identities of the real victims. That said, Kiki made a poor decision to engage Kemi, she would have just block her and don’t response to her at all. |
You are not a very good liar. If you block someone on you phone, you will not be able to receive WhatsApp messages they sent you, on their phone those messages will show as undelivered. And you will not also be able to send them WhatsApp messages, until you unblock them. We know you are lying, but keep going on, we are listening. |
Blackivy27:If people are still using that line, it means it still works, otherwise it would have been discarded long time ago. It is not surprising that, it didn’t work on you...there is no 100% proof line out there; the lines that worked on you might be a turn-off for the next lady....not all ladies want it cool, some prefer it hot, it is a game of chance until something clicks, there are no sure bets out there....inside life! |
Just30:That must be a slip, yes it is BBC, but the application is the same. Someone in the position of a defendant, do not have to prove anything, which will be the position of BBC, should the Lecturer sue them. The burden is on the Lecturers to prove with clear and convincing proves, which is higher and tougher to reach compare to preponderance of evidence for civil cases that; they are not and have not engaged in ‘sex for grades’ as alleged by BBC in the documentary. They must also prove the other four elements of a defamation case using the same standard of proof. All that, BBC need to do; is to enter a few evidences into the record that will poke a little hole or doubt into the case built by the Lecturer’s legal team about his stellar records in this regard. A single testimony by a student corroborating BBC’ account is enough to sow little seed of doubt and the Lecturer case crumbles. Also, even in Ghana like in every other place; if you are a public figure; it becomes much more difficult to win libel suits, BBC can attempt to label the Lecturer a public figure, since he is a professor at a public University and widely known there. Plus in a libel suit, among the 4/5 items he must prove, he must show that BBC were negligent (that is without adequate research & due diligence), BBC will introduce their evidence of diligence, research, contacts and efforts put into making sure they got an accurate documentary, not withstanding a few inaccuracies, that if he the Lecturer can prove some. Simply proving that, he did not participate in ‘sex for grade’ is not enough to win a defamation case; he must prove 4 other items. This is the reason, the success rate on libel/defamation cases is less than 10% and the percentage is much more lower for public figure. Libel cases are for people who maliciously want to harm you by disseminating falsehood against you. If someone put diligent efforts into making sure they get the truth and they end up not getting all their facts straight, it will be difficult to win a defamation suit against them. |
Just30:Like I indicated on a previous post, these Lecturers were not pick on randomly at of the blue. If you listen to the beginning of the documentary, students came out and reported these Lecturers, hence CNN did their investigation but with decoys. Some of these students, according to CNN reported these incidents, but the school authorities did not do anything, others are afraid to report, because they wouldn’t be believed, others are afraid to report because they are afraid that, there will be repercussions against them within the school as they are still under these Lecturers or friends to these Lecturers...these students have first hand knowledge, not hear-say and CNN did not include them in the documentary to placard their fears. Now that dynamic changes, if a court case is filed. These students can’t marshal the wherewithal to mount a count case; but would be glad if CNN is at the center, moreso the court will give them the protection against retaliation they currently lack and can even cross petition against the Lecturers and the school during that case for civil penalties. The school authorities will even advice the lecturer not to go to court, because ‘breeze go blow and fowl yansh go open’; no be person wey first run go police station dey innocent or go win the case final final. This documentary had been in production for a year and CNN team of lawyers must have ascertain these students’ stories and adjudge them to be credible before green-lighting the documentary aka, they must have examined all their legal exposures and ensure they have solid legal standing before moving ahead. Again, the lecturer is just blowing hot smoke. He will not go to count and pursue the case to conclusion. Remember that, despite the fact that, he may want to narrow the case to the ‘sex for grade’ allegation, court proceedings involves expansive discovery process and that can unearth many other sexual escapades that may doom his career, marriage and family...so he knows better to let sleeping dogs lay low. My advice for him, is that he should go file a civil libel case against CNN to save face, allow it to drag on for a while and quietly withdraw it, when the whole world must have moved on to the next sensational News or story on the block... Trump have green light Turkey to defeat US allies, the Kurds in Syria, maybe as Turkey have started their on-slaughter, that will be the next sensational News item or maybe it will be the current Trump impeachment saga, vi-sa-vi his standoff with the US House of Rep....I can’t wait to see who blinks first and fold in the current fist-fight between Trump & the House in document discoveries, witnesses testimonies and Subpoenas. |
yaki84:Lecturers had been disciplined, prosecuted and even terminated in the past, can you cite a single instance, when ASUU has embarked on a Strike on account of any of those incidence? ASUU is a professional body and would not want to see itself impending a criminal procedure, especially, when all the facts are not known to them, except the one sided account that might have been given to them by their fellow Lecturer. |
Pompeyzeed:Something makes me to think that, CNN timed the release of that documentary to land after the end of BBN. The documentary had been in production for about a year, so they must have timed the release date for optimal dissemination. |

Suilleman do insult people on Twitter and Instagram, check his feed...I hope you can also direct your good home upbringing advice to him as well. |
cenaboy:A guy who is on his third wife, is the voice of Christians? He even boast of committing adultery against the third one and he is your voice? He supports the white supremacy, who hate the Jews, the God chosen people...the very Jews who brought salvation to Christians and he is the voice of Christians? He can even name his favorite bible verse, despite it been his ‘favorite book’, but yet, he is the voice of the Christians. He betrays allies and those who have stood by Americans and fought along with them to die, just to protect what he call his ‘conflict of interest’, aka Trump Tower in Turkey, but he is the voice of Christians. |
HegenIkomkeh:What you said is true, but Senate vote does not nullify House impeachment. People are just getting wrong that, impeachment means removal, that is not correct. The House will draw Articles of impeachment and by a simple majority vote to impeach him and he will be entered into the history books as the third US President to be impeached. Then the House will take him before the Senate for trial, the Senate can vote to convict him by a 2/3 majority or vote to acquit him; even if they acquit him, he has been impeached, the difference is, he was not convicted. Impeachment is like a grand jury voting to indict someone of a crime after hearing testimonies and reviewing evidences....even if that person get acquitted at trial, it still does not vacate the fact that, he was indicted. |
TechCapon:Senate don’t impeach. House of Rep can impeach him, they have the votes to do that....Then the House will take him for a trial before the Senate, the Senate can then vote to convict or acquit him. Regardless of the votes in the Senate, he will become the third US President to be impeached by the House. No US President has been convicted after impeachment. Suleiman is also clueless, he is looking for cheap fame from Trump hence he tagged Trump on that Twit, hoping he gets a mention by Trump. |
Just30:Rules of evidence are universal and at their generic levels, during civic cases; both sides are deposed aka have to give testimony under oath and both sides can request documents from either side and can present witnesses to buttress their side of the story. CNN is a global brand and before that documentary aired, they must have passed it through their legal team to vet thoroughly to ensure that, they are on solid legal grounds. That documentary was in the making for a year, that is the painstaking time for CNN to ensure from their legal team that, they are all clear. |
solmusdesigns:The Ghana Professor is just making mouth, if he is a Professor, he will not be dumb enough to sue, he will hide and lay low hoping that, this blow away fast enough. He will open himself up for deposition, request for documents and testimony under oath and other students in the wide will be flocking in to give their accounts, it will be a circus and a 1000 times worst than it is now for him, his family, children, friends & Associates. |
solmusdesigns:Like comedian Okey put it, men have two heads/brains; the one on top and the one below. The one on top na him go school and na him learn something. The one below no dey enter class and the two brains don’t work at the same time. When the one on top is active and working, the one below is shutdown and sleeping. But, once the one below wakes up, the one on top will quickly shutdown and go to sleep. For most men reading your dissertation, the head/brain on top truly appreciate it and have learnt it’s lesson and have promised to apply them 24/7/365, the one on top is now active and working. We hope it stays that way.....but, you know say, anything that goes up, does not stay there forever. |
HillLuxury:You are very close to the truth! Not everyone participates in a race or in a competition, some are there just to watch and applaud. |
internationalman:The intended receiving country have to request for extradition, source countries don’t just extradite people without a request. Also, the receiving only request for extradition, if the people is accused of a crime in the receiving country for which, he/she is been extradited to face. I doubt if the Nigerian government will be requesting his extradition. You must be talking about deportation to serve out his sentencing, this is only done if there is a prior agreement between both countries and the agreement will clearly state the crimes eligible for such treatment and a commitment to ensure the convict serves out his/her jail time and not just released into the streets upon touch down. However, he will be summarily deported to Nigeria after he finishing serving his jail time, provided he is not a US citizen. |
kestolove95:I need a lady that will not demand not expect money till after wedding. |
kudos4god:Una dey take as if she wasted the one year on top of the alawee wey collect. U know how many graduates wey done finish NYSC, wey wan go back to repeat am for another 2-3 years? Unless they are asking her to return the alawees, she does not have a case. |
googi:Dude it’s serious, try google the word ‘toto’ you will see Rick band, music, video, company, etc with that name and nothing remotely close to what we associate that name with. Growing, I thought it was an English word. |
I was shocked when I realized that, ‘toto’ is not in the dictionary and no one in the Western world know what it means. There are even companies in the West with that name. This begs the question, if it is a slag; I doubt if it is broken English, since broken English have a somewhat direct phonetic or spelling similarity to its English counterpart. |
From the gallon on the floor he used to climb....it appeared he jumped and held the top opening of the gate with his hand, put his head through, he could not muscle enough upper body strength to pass through and since his lower body outside was dangling and heavier than the portion on the inside; law of gravity kicks in to pull him down towards his legs outside and with little or no upper body strength propel him upward, he could not free his head. He struggled for a while, but he had already dealt himself an irreversible bad hand...the only question left became; how long before he is relieved from his misery. |
The only way to save your files: 1. Get a USB stick. 2. Get a new OS on CD or USB stick. 3. Boot to safe mode. 4. Backup all your files to the USB stick 1...Yes, they will contain virus. 5. Format the Hard Drive and install a new OS. 6. Download and install all service packs. 7. Download and install a good anti-virus, there are many free ones online. 8. Scan your PC and make sure to enable virus protection. 9. Scan USB stick 2 to eliminate all virus. 10. After the backup in step 4 above, disconnect make sure not to connect USB stick 2 back to the PC until step 9 above. |
MelesZenawi:He threatened to take them to court for libel, which is the right thing any law abiding citizen should do, if anyone is spreading falsehood about them. If what they printed was the truth, Vanguard would have simply appear in court and the Judge will acquit them and may even order damages and counsel fees in their favor. They fold because, they know it was false; freedom of press does not including printing and spreading lies. |
helinues:You have some point that, Democrats would waste a lot of time on this, since impeachment process takes a long time, time they would have spend campaigning for 2020 Election. But, they have a duty to hold the Executives accountable and the Trump Administration have been impending their work. They refused to agree to release the Whistleblower complaint to congress, something the law clearly said have to be released until the impeachment inquiries was launched. Sometimes, you have to fight lawlessness even if it means you losing. Also, remember many democratic voters have started blasting congress and becoming discouraged because numerous inaction by congress following many Trump blockages, so democratic candidates would have suffered at the polls in 2020 if congress they elected did nothing. The likely outcome of this impeachment inquiries is that, Trump get impeached, becoming the 3rd US President to be impeached, but get acquitted in the Senate and this end result will fire up both Republicans and Democrats to come out in droves to vote for their respective parties. Usually in the US, if the turn out of an election is very high, it means the Democrats will win, because they have highest number of registered voters and Republicans will do everything to make turn out are not high, but this high stalk fight a year before an election is likely to make the outcome very high. The green leave is this...Trump have not broke 50% in approval rating since he came into office and he is the first President not to have done so; this is an opportunity for him to either break that mark or further decline in ratings. |
MASTERCHIEF0847:This does not even involve any script, talkless of script kiddies. His company acted as middlemen that handles cash between a third party and hospitals and they didn’t remit all money given to them to give to the hospital. |
seguno2:In many sense in Nigeria, they are the same....more so in this particular case, where the FG have no legs to stand regarding their allegations of treason. FG just want to cage him and lock him away for as long as they can, their charges will not stick and they will be a laughing stock world wide, if they try to prosecute him for treasonable felony, when he was just protesting. Remember they locked Kanu away for about 1.5 years, even the case against his alleged co-conspirators have stalled, so will the case of Sowore, the government will just sweep it under the carpet and move on. |
