It's his wedding. His life. He's the boss. Anyone can be hired and fired at anytime. He knows what he's doing- and old enough to accept consequences(dire as they may be). I can only but wish him the best of luck. |
Obviously, the relationship is all about the se.x. The handwriting is on the wall. Your friend should accept it that way and continue as it is. Steady "bantu" isn't easy to come by these days - which is more important. I don't see how being seen with a particular girl in public adds to anyone's life. If he tries to change things, he will end up loosing both the steady knacking and the babe. Sharp guys understand unspoken terms and conditions, analyze the pros and cons and take decisions. Good luck to your friend |
This love thing is too cumbersome. Pity most of you can't see it. @Topic- Never had a heart-break. Never will have. |
Number 3 will get me anyday. Nothing that will rouse a mentally-balanced man's attention easily than a sense of alarming curiosity. But trust some of our Nigerian women to fail at this. You see her hanging out and yapping endlessly with her friends, and all the curiosity is gone. |
Olarewajub: Medical lab tech and pharmacy tech, which is more preferable?Life is anything you make out of it. You will state the parameters of your comparison and you'll get informed advise. Doc_Miss: Deoxygenated Blood i.e blood in Our Veins and pulmonary artery . .is it usually BLUEThe venous blood I've always seen has been dark red. I've done plenty phlebotomies and I've never ever seen blue blood. Now there's something called Cyanosis. When the concentration of deoxygenated blood exceeds 5g/dL in peripheral or central circulation, it leads to a bluish discolouration of skin and mucous membranes. This clinical sign is very appreciated in the whites and light skinned folks. You'd see bluish skin surface( e.g palmar of hand), bluish discolouration of tongue etc. There's a devil tempting me to type on central and peripheral cyanosis. That temptation has just been overcome. ![]() |
Lust any day. I don't know what love is. But I've known lust. It has never disappointed. Lust has no vain expectations. No chronic demands. Just the wishful satisfaction of acute, unbridled desire. With lust, you have variety. Variations of shapes, sizes, forms, depths, tightness . Lust never gets boring. No commands to commitment. No obligatory responses or actions. You don't have to wrestle with the responsibility of choice. Because lust is a means to an end. Not the end of a means. So whatever mechanism or whoever is involved, the important thing is, needs are satisfied. Lust deletes all forms of expectations. With lust, there is no pressure to act in a certain way. Expectations is not part of the deal. And even if there be any, it is always short-term. |
SMH for all these married folks without basic foundational maturity. Notice how your husband had an affair( irrespective of who), and you took it to your hall mates. Notice how you took your marriage/family issues to outsiders for evaluation and advisory response. Your story lacks some substance though. You claimed your husband can't recognize the very girl that lubricates his manhood with her womanly juice and her oral action? The same girl he pumped his phallus into furiously on countless occasions?? Ha!! Are you trying to exonerate your husband in the affair by that cheap line? Finally, kindly update us the line of action(or series of actions) your marriage-counsellor-hallmates recommend for your husband. ![]() |
@Topic Which is why girls should get into University earlier, so that they can push it away and get on with their life. If you get into the University at 15 or 16, by 21 you are done with the whole brouhaha. All these marriage interfering with University because someone couldn't pass JAMB is just not it. And I'm in support of early marriage, if the circumstance is right. What are you waiting for? What is it you want to learn that you can't learn earlier? There's no proof that maturity gets better with age. People just looking for excuse to waste time. I don't see myself marrying more than a 25 year old. What is 25 years sef? 22 at most. There are smart 20-year olds with good head on their shoulders. Seek and ye shall find. |
dasparrow: @PostA man that wants to cheat will cheat even with the best woman in the world. The OP knows best. |

alutacontinua: aaawwwww......I trust God in you. I miss essay exams, i doubt I can even write one successfully nowThanks. You're so sweet ![]() Can you please talk to these people to stop this thing they're up to?I knew a time like this will come. I was surprised it wasn't sooner. Actually, it's nothing. I've been in a teaching hospital environment long enough to see far more hostilities than this. I hate this thing they're all tryna do with serious passionSame here. It's best to ignore. Internet is now cheap. Anybody can subscribe and type anything. and if care is not taken, peeps would just leave the thread for you to take over your arguments and fight who is better/greater out.Who is better than who is not by volumes of words typed on a Nairaland thread. It is not by multitude of grammar. It is not by nomenclature. It is not by boastful utterances. It is not by "size of chest". Those who know better know what it is about. ![]() |

Gregdcutie: thanks sirlomaxx ve gotten the email messageYou're welcome. Those BRS Books are quite large. Sending over email isn't healthy for bandwidth. I'll tell you where to find them. Search with http://www.filecrop.com . You can use 4shared. |
Gregdcutie: all these my coursemates are terrifying me with theis reading zeal...trying to finish syllabus b4 we resum in january @idiarabaI was in this shoe once. Reading ahead of pre-clinicals. Now let me pause here to give an observation. Excelling in Pre-Medical year is much about how well you observe tradition in your school and also about how much you work hard. What do I mean by tradition? Example, If tradition has it that notes are the rate limiting step for zoology, and you kill yourself with hardwork over some zoology textbook, you are so on your own. If your seniors say note is what is needed, you have no business going outside your notes. Pre-Meds (especially those just admitted) in your various med schools, do well to have someone in the class just above you - to feed you with updated ways of passing each course well and avoiding pitfalls. Pre-Clinicals is much about how well you are smart to revolve your time about the volumes of Gross Anatomy, the ambiguity of Embryology , the vagueness of Histology and still have a headway in the intense volumes of mechanisms and processes in Physiology coupled with the dense pathways of biochemistry. You have to be smart with your time. How much time you invest in a course will determine how smoothly it would go for you. Some people end up doing so well in Anatomy or Biochemistry (because they are perceived as difficult) while their Physiology is very leaky. [b] You must strike a balance. Zeal may not help too much here. You need to be smart. For those reading ahead of Pre-Clinicals, I recommend that you avoid Keith Moore (for now). Why? It's too voluminous and you will only end up reading too much stuff. Mostly irrelevant stuff. For your Gross, I endorse Snell's Clinical Anatomy. For histology, I endorse BRS Histology. For Embryology, I endorse BRS Embryology. You can get the BRS Books off the net. I used Snell's, BRS Histo and BRS Embryo. I never had below a 69% in Anatomy and my Physiology and Biochemistry was perfect. I never even read so zealously. I had people that used Keith Moore and all other popular books but came close with so much zealous work. What if I was zealous? Food for thought. For Physiology, I endorse either of Guyton & Hall or Ganong or Fox Physiology. BRS Physiology is good. I used Guyton and BRS Physiology and stood a chance at a distinction viva. Medical school politics stood in my way. It's a long story. For Biochemistry, I endorse Vazudevan Biochemistry. There's Harpers Illustrated Biochemistry and Lehninger Principles of Biochemistry for lovers of hyper-stuff. My combo was Vazudevan and Kaplan Biochemistry. I used Kaplan more. Your note would be the most important thing you will need. Make sure you copy well. Managing information in med school is very important. There are too much information you don't need circulating in standard texts. You must be wise in knowing what you need. This is where a syllabus comes in. I have a standard and comprehensive MBBS Syllabus for Pre-Clinical year gotten from a Med School somewhere in Europe. It's a standard syllabus. It's in .pdf. There's an email address in my profile. If you need it, send me a mail. Good luck to all pre-meds and pre-clinical folks. Even to aspirants. Bless!!! |
aliandro: ......Dr lomaxx,aw was ur exam?......I know itz a peanut 4 a personality like uThere is not peanut exam in medical school. Whether an exam is peanut or not depends on: 1) How often you read your material 2) If you read the right material 3) How well you read in between the lines( especially if MCQs and Negative Marking is involved) I tried my best. And here I must emphasize the importance of attending lectures and copying first-hand notes from lecturers. If you want to make life easy for yourself, don't miss a class. Never ever! |
aliandro: The survivor came here a while ago..........pre medicals, get ready 4 pre clinicals coz itz fun @ d beginning but getz tough on d long run.........dr phoenix came 2 hint on dat alxo.......and now we are clamouring 4 detailed info on pre clinicalsThe dynamics of pre-clinicals revolves around Anatomy, Biochemistry and Physiology. Anatomy is subdivided into Gross Anatomy( Upper and Lower Limb Anatomy, Thorax and Abdomen, Pelvis and Perineum, Head and Neck) Histology, Embryology and Neuroanatomy. Physiology is subdivided into Introductory and Muscle Physiology, Blood Physiology, Cardiovascular physiology, Renal physiology, GIT physiology, Respiratory physiology, Endocrinology, Neurophysiology and Special Senses Biochemistry : Enzymology, Carbohydrate metabolism, Protein metabolism, Fat metabolism, Nucleic acid metabolism, special topics, HIV/AIDS etc etc That's an overview. If you have questions drop them. I'll attend to them after my 12noon exam. Bless!!! |
Messilo: try to control your envy toward mbbs students.Joshuapharm is a household name in NL. If you visit the Health Section, you will see the enormous work he is doing there. I admire what he does there on daily basis. He's proud of his profession and he likes what he is doing. Passion that rekindles for Pharmacy is in his DNA. He is not envious of anybody. Each time I visit the Health Section, I wish he could grace this thread the way he does over there. Please, desist from assuming too fast. Messilo: Or you should go and obtain jamb form and choose mbbsBro, calm down biko. One day you will get MBBS and you'd realize that it's just MBBS. Nothing more. Pink_Lezbian: omode n she eee. Now, I see why other paramedicals find it hard to surface here.It is a level-playing ground here. Anybody is free to contribute and post. There's no segregation whatsoever. You can either sit on the fence and watch or make contributions to the thread. aliandro: Na pharmacy against mbbs naw abi,D pre medicals asked a question......d oga @ d top qat nofin 2 say about it......i just dey watch oooooNobody is against anybody. We are all united in this forum. What was your question again? |
Gregdcutie: hey! MedicsHey. What's up? |
joshuapharm: Have you heard pharmacists say 'we do it all' before? It's more lucrative than you can think of. Think about it, you can carry out ur professional service in a myriad of settings. That's the only reason why ur medical doctor mates'll be jealous of you and want to throw u out of the hospital setting .Notice how other people approached the same question in maturity and without any form of unprofessional bias. |
aliandro: ASUU is on strike,NMA just called off deirz,Medicoz, pharmacist, lab dudes, nurses don embark on strike also........on behalf of FG,I appeal 2 d medical student under the jurisdiction of Dr lagusta 2 come back online.....Haha...they will all come back. |
