How do Nigerian women change so drastically when you marry them and take them overseas? sad
A family friend had a similar experience after he relocated to England and later brought his wife, whom he had been dating right from University days over to the UK, as she was always crying and pestering her Mother and Father in-law that she could not live without her husband.
She found out that the law protects the woman more over there and would always quarrel with her husband and call the Police to take him away.
Eventually, the guy had to walk away from the marriage.

Wow that's Awesome. Letting criminal and a scammer to help means you are justifying what he is accused of. Thanks Canada for opening FG eyes to see the grave mistake they are doing.
Don't mention me, it's my opinion and majority of sane people with common sense.
Common sense is not common, if it were, you would not open that big cavity, you call a mouth, and insult a person with verifiable means of income, such as the Air Peace Chairman.
Anyway, I see some form of Xenophobia and Schizophrenia disorders in your writtings so I am not surprised.

The spate of kidnapping around Owerri has increased, of recent.
It's straight to the gallows for these kidnappers as it will serve as a vital lesson to other evil persons.

You girls should take care of your father until his sanity is restored to a good state

After that, he should get a good lawyer and he should write his will.

Your brat brother has gone out of control.
If he doesn't kill him las las, he'll kill both of your parents...
No thanks to his mum who had spoilt him.
Your Dad suffers from a form of dementia and a close eye needs to be kept on him to avoid his being permanently lost.
Your Dad needs to write his will fast to avoid endless litigations and problems when he passes .I also hope you ladies were not mean to your brother when he was younger because of the attention that was being given him as an only son, as this might explain his resentment towards you all
Christianity Etc › Re: FG Frowns As States Reopen Mosques, Churches by lozanni(m): 10:53pm On May 15, 2020
Its still too early to open Mosques and Churches because Nigerians do have the discipline to obey social distancing rules; what happened at the banks and bus stops in Lagos on May 4th, the first day of lifting the lockdown, is still very fresh in our minds.
Also, the rate of infection is still raising and so this is the time to be extra careful, not relax lockdown controls.

Right thinking my brother, they had the antidote to his odeshi.
Those robbers are reported to have lodged in his hotel for some days, were there no CCTV there that would have captured their faces.
The whole setup looks like an inside job as someone might have tipped the robbers off that the man was expecting about N2m cash, so they lodged in his hotel until they were sure the money had arrived.
Please everyone should avoid carrying huge cash around to save their own lives.

Politics › Re: The Brazen Act Of Marginalisation Of Christians In Kaduna State By Gov Elrufai by lozanni(m): 1:51pm On May 12, 2020
Genoa:
This is why I love my people, what ever is happening in other zones is none of our business.

Why is a failed political analyst from Rivers State more concerned with what's happening in Kaduna state?
How do you qualify a person as a failed political analyst? Hmmmm
If it's the Christian part of Kaduna marginalising the Moslem part, I would have called for a redress of that imbalance, though am a Christian.
Look at the Europeans, when Bosnia( a predominantly Muslim enclave) was under siege and their people being killed by the predominantly Orthodox Christian Serbs, the Europeans who are christians spoke out against this and even later arrested Serb war criminals and sent them to life imprisonment.
The Europeans did the above on the premise that: The man dies in him who keeps quiet against tyranny and oppression as quoted by Prof. Rotimi Osofisan.
Infact, Europe as an example is very far away, when Boko Haram started initially, they mostly targeted christians and other Muslims were nonchalant about it, but what happened eventually? They started visiting their fellow Muslims with death and destruction because they believed that the other Muslims were not practicing Islamic religion the same way with them.
If you tell tonyebarcanista to keep mute as Kaduna State does not concern him, is it when El-Rufai becomes President and unleashes such parochial mindset on the nation that we shall expect him to speak out?
The nation is already deeply divided by the actions of our current politicians and we do not need more of such politicians to drive our country into the abyss.

Family › Re: A Man Discovered That His Father Is Not His Real Dad 36 Years After by lozanni(m): 10:40pm On May 11, 2020
Nothing divides a family more than being asked to undertake a DNA to ascertain if it's truly their Dad, Mum or sibling who resides in the US and filed papers for them to come over there.
I remember some time ago, an in-law who lives in the US filed papers for his two kids and the wife to join them over there.
The lady above went to the US Embassy with her junior brother (they are cousins of mine), when the Embassy asked them to go for DNA tests, the male cousin had to call his senior sister aside and asked her if the children were truly her husband's children, as he thought to himself that it was better if the man was lied to that his wife and kids were no longer interested in relocating to the US than suffering the shame of revealing to the man that the children belonged to another man.
The question posed by her brother really infuriated the lady above as she asked her brother angrily if he doubted her integrity( He confessed to me that he had never seen her that angry). The brother said he did not doubt his sister, but that he had seen a lot of problems concerning family trying to relocate to the US as he lived there.
Thankfully, the DNA turned out fine and they are now all residing in the US smiley

There is an Igbo saying that says: you went to five different markets and fought in all five of them, is it the market people who are the trouble makers or yourself?
The fact that your wife was not in speaking terms with her senior ones or junior siblings or even her relatives should have been a red flag warning to you that she is a difficult person.

Family › Re: Help: My Father Is Killing My Mom Gradually by lozanni(m): 3:40pm On May 05, 2020
bolaji3071:
Your story is similar to mine. But in my own case my dad didn't come back home, but he went to the village to marry another woman.

Me and my siblings were left with my mum alone who is a trader to cater for us.

Later when my dad became sick, the woman left him. And the sickness got worsenend that they had to rush him to UCH ibadan.

It was one fateful morning of August 6, 2016 that I got a call from the village that my dad has been rushed to UCH.

And it was that same day I was preparing to upload my my documents for my school admission.

So I had to travel down to UCH from lagos that same day to stay with him at the hospital, being his first born.

We stayed there for 40 days and also he was operated on(below knee amputation).

So after the surgical injury became a little bit ok. We went for physiotherapy to learn how, so he can learn how to use clutches to walk.

So, after that he got discharged and we went back to the village.

That year, after the uploading of documents, I gained admission to study in Unilag, and around November we were asked to come to school for the physical screening.

On getting to school after my screening, I got a call that my dad has died. Mehn that was the worst day of my life.

I traveled back to oyo state that same evening. It was a very sad and bad experience for me. Despite how he was not there for me, my siblings and mum, I would never wish for him to die.

My dad's junior bro who promised then to sponsor me in school didn't come through, I have been hustling my way through during holidays with work ranging from bet9ja cashier, office assistant and all to cater for my school needs, siblings and mum,but 300level second semester was the most difficult for me.

I could not get any job to save up for 400level school fees after the holiday. Had to sell of my phone then to pay up my school fees, now in 400level. It has not been easy, but I know my story will change for good soon and I will give my mum and siblings a very better life.

I perfectly relate with all you are going through op.
sad I feel so sad reading about your experience, I had to control my emotions before it got the better of me.
Cases like yours and Ops' are reasons why I feel our rich men are not doing enough to help the poor and downtrodden, especially those who have great potential like the two of you.
I hope wealthy Nigerians will create philanthropic Foundations, like you have in developed countries, to help those in severe need and not just donating billions to the Government.
I pray the Good Lord will make ways for both of you and your families so that you can achieve your dreams and aspirations.

Also Igbo land is like kwara state size hence while yorubas fly for their long journeys igbos use bus

Why do you think most pilots in ng are yorubas [/quote
