Seems, statistics ain't taught in SE
Poverty capital of the whole world refers to the whole country, they did not single out any region.
Though they stated that poverty is more widespread in the North.

I bet your one of those igbos who has never lived in Yoruba land hence this stupid statement your making

Those companies are mostly used by igbos to and from Igbo land it’s not the dominant transport means in Yoruba land this is why i said no point arguing with you
I was born and bred in Lagos State for your information, so I am privileged to know about yorubaland and the East, unlike you who have never left Ijebu before for any other part of yorubaland
The dominant means of transport in your place is 'Bolekaja', the truck that packs human on long hard benches facing each other.
Even in Lagos when Igbos travel with their commercial buses during the Xmas, the town ends up looking empty.

A thread as already been opened and we have urged you to stop spewing this lies
Fidelity bank and diamond bank don’t dominate Lagos
Igbos have 0 capacity in IT
What transport is being managed by igbos looool apart from the dropping you in your village
Apart from pharmaceutical industries igbos are not involved in any production

That’s why your region is the poorest in southern Nigeria
Lockdown done lock your reasoning.
Where is The world Reknown IT giant, Emegwali from?
Who owns mega transport companies like ABC, Chisco, Young shall grow, God is good, GUO among others?
Where are the Industrial cities of Nnewi and Aba located?

Don't mind those people, I am sure that the margin of error will be very wide as using 22,110 households is just too small for the whole country

to your last question, I said no I don't... Don't ever despise the humble beginning cos it shaping our future. I don't know how old you are but I know you must have used some of those materials.

People see some of those things as outdated but I see improvement on the old ones...

Let me tell you something... Do you know that when teaching a child, you have to paint a picture in your illustrations?,...lets say...the head is where the eye ,nose and some parts of the body are situated...you can also explain that the head can be used to carry things... You can say,I used my head to carry a bucket by taken the bucket and place it on your head...this is the little among the many you'll have to face when teaching children.
He may not be entirely right by now but discrediting his hard work is disheartening... My opinion though.
No, am not trying to discredit the author's work.
I am just advising that he updates the book in line with recent developments in our educational system; he can edit the book in future editions, as many other books are edited, to take cognisance of recent developments

critical thinking for primary level...if na so then teach you ... u go know anything?
The method of teaching for primary school children has changed so much now.
The fact you were not taught that way does not mean teaching methods will not change.
Some schools are now teaching computer programming at the primary School level, but am sure you were not taught that and might then think to yourself that it is not possible for it to be understood by students at that level.

I believe you have a child or relatives...use that line to teach them about the head and tell me the result after you finish...
The world is moving at a very fast pace now.
With IT and digitalization, you find out that the way you were taught in primary school back then, is so outdated to what is being taught now.
Some school start teaching computer programming right from the primary School level now and many of those kids have their own study laptops.
Did you have the above when you were in primary school ?

Looking at the boy head u find out that the author is still right, that head is position to carry load.
But what is wrong in using your head to carry load?
Nothing, but the primary position of the author should have been that the head is where the human brain is located and it is used for critical thinking.
The author's after stating the above could then state that the head can also be used for carrying loads over a distance.

That's why I hate private jobs especially bank jobs. If you are working in private firms, it's high time you made enough savings because any day, you might be relieved of your job. But those who saved their money may be able to make good investment and may not really feel the pain of the sack.
My sympathy goes to those may be affected in one way or the other as a result of this.
Savings is good for investments, but with the current economic and social situation of the country where you provide your own light, water, security, healthcare among other expenses, how much can the average worker save?

What about Danfo? Since this lockdown the ones in my area are still packing people like sardine oh
This is probably where the problem lies.
If the danfo drivers are to stick to the 60% capacity utilisation for their buses as directed by the Lagos State Government, they may likely want to hike their fares appropriately.
Govt. Should ensure that the attendant fare hike will be reasonable.

sad I guess this is similar to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) many US Marines suffer when they are eventually demobilised back to their country.
PTSD has some of those Marines committing suicide, murder and other violent acts.
I will advise that the Medical officers at the front line of the battle against this Pandemic should be given regularly counselling by Psychologist, Pastors, etc.
They should also be given time off from duty, often enough, to heal their psychological wounds.
Rest in Peace to the Doctor.
Romance › Re: Why Do I Keep Meeting Girls From Troubled Families? by lozanni(m): 3:30pm On Apr 27, 2020
Tripitaka:
Have you dated a girl who is a product of incest?
Have you dated a girl whose brother raped the mother for ritual purposes?
Have you dated a girl who grew up to find out that her actual dad is the family driver, but the pregnancy was passed on to the "willing dad"?
Have you dated a girl whose own father has been sexually abusing?
Have you dated a girl whose mother's nude pictures are all over the internet because she was caught shoplifting?

I believe your answer would be "No", as you would have included these in your narrative.

The families in your narrative can hardly be classed as "troubled" as I would like to think that your experiences are the peculiarities of your average Nigerian family. The average Nigerian family where diabolism and fetishism is real; where cohabitation is in vogue because the government outlaws abortion and your parents would insist on you living with the man who impregnated you even if he has no interest in marrying you; where young widows are still oppressed by their late husband's relatives; where poverty and unemployment is the norm hence a 40yr old unemployed man is nothing out of the ordinary.

The women you have been with are not from troubled families, at least in my opinion. They are simply from Nigerian families.
You hit the nail on the head.
The rate of diabolical practices in our nation, especially from the villa, is truly appalling, although low life expectancy among Nigerian males could also have led to the early demise of most father's.
Poverty and hunger too has made many couples to choose to cohabit together as they cannot afford the cost of traditional and white weddings.
My advise to most couples is to have a court registry marriage which is quite affordable and leave the rest for now.
Also so many guys would like to get married, but without the right source of livelihood, they may get discouraged.
Also robust employment programs to create jobs are very much lacking in our policy drive, so this might explain problem

Blakewilli:
Glory be unto the Lord who sustains us.

If God could make 1 man conquer an army of 150 singlehandedly (Elijah), then who can battle the true children of God?

If a mortal could split a mighty ocean into 2 to create a dry passage for himself and his people(moses), then what obstacles can hinder our mighty destinies?

If an Earthquake could occur just to save the servants of God(paul and Silas), what bondages can keep us down?

If a man who died and even buried could be brought back to life(Lazarus), then can death separate us from Christ's love? Ha!

If water could be turned to wine due to lack, then what necessity cant our father provide us? Chai!
Can God ever go back on his word or change? God forbid!

I recall when I swore to start robbing so I could feed. When the day drew close, I couldn't subdue my conscience to commit such atrocity. I remember kneeling down and begging God to just forgive me for neglecting him. Few days later, God came to me in the form of a family member who just took me to his home and fed me for no just reason!

His grace is ever abounding unto us, we just need to work in his ways and with full faith on him.

Why should you bother about what to eat tomorrow or what to wear on Sunday? He is our only trusted provider!

We give you thanks lord for being who you are unto us.praise the lord! Ha- Ha- HALLELUJAH

Bible references:2nd Kings 1 v 9-15
Exodus 14 v 15-22
Acts 16 v 25-26
John 11 v 34-44

Alleluia!!!
God is ever faithful.
I remember once, I was stranded somewhere, while they were riots around Lagos; as I stood by the bus stop, a stranger drove up to my front and offered to drop me at home.
The stranger dropped me at my street without collecting a dime from me.
The above incident showed me that God loves and cares for us and still sends out his Angels on assignments for our own good.

Well written, but you might not act rationally as this when you catch a man on top of your wife on your matrimonial bed.
Proverbs 6 quoted above that says: Jealousy is the rage of a man is so much on point.
