Silly stupid man. Make him go marry another yellow girl from Anambra. As old as he is, he doesn't know they're drama queens? |
I'm sure his wife asked him same question everyone asks him these days. "Femi, bia, who's bankrolling you?" |
razible5384:You too bro. |
Looking at this very attempt they made; though I've seen some of their works before. But this, i can't say, "oh they're highly talented etc" But, if guided by a higher truth or insight, one could interpret this as a pictorial irony which satirizes the Nigerian glorification of the material. The worship of money, costumes, tall buildings, fast cars and bitches. And, in the end; they are as vain and temporal as "wheel barrows" You could say, " beauty for ashes" Nothing lasts forever. |
razible5384:Tnx for the compliments. I'm holed up in the states. Don't rem you much, though. I rave like mad in June cos i was made in June. |
She can't even spell psychology. |
Everyday, this guy drives around Lagos roads checking it's conditions... What we don't know is, "Who's bankrolling you?" |
Let's see if Bill Gates Jnr will buy him a golden coffin or organise the largest funeral? Because if na here, we no go hear word. |
We all know how she came into money. IBB' s wife's tailor whom they corruptly allocated an oil bloc, which of course serves their interest as well in cuts. Who wouldn't blow up on oil bloc? Abeg, annoint them with money. |
ecto:Frankly, you need English remedial classes at any post closest to you. You try to communicate but you jam your syntax at a bridge. It's "laid off" Not layed. There's no word as layed. Are you Ikwerre? |
This story be like Nigerian movie. A native doctor follow remove bullet. Wetin doctor for come do? |
This happens every year in Nigeria. |
Crispels:Ok. I will take that. The teen years between 13 and 19 are really crucial in the child transition to adulthood. In these years, these our girls are here; they're mostly exposed to the trending norms and practices of their peers and no matter how much the most disciplined of them try to fight it, are outwardly or inwardly influenced by these social stimuli. They may stay calm, studious and controlled by their parents through these times but it tends to flare up in later life. That trait they were exposed to at those times always tend to stick through their later discourse and navigation through life's challenges. |
Crispels:I'm also in US, if not longer than you here. |
See that beautiful white house whose exquisite gates are always shut. I really wonder who owns that building. |
Crispels:My brother, if you like, go marry akata. Go ask Nigerians wey marry Nigerian babes born there how far? One morning she go wake up begin shout Black lives mata for your head. Dem no dey tell person. |
989900:Sounds like tale but by all intents, true. If you can assess them, check Newswatch magazine btw 1983 to 1985. We still have those editions in our family house because my uncle worked as a reporter at Newswatch then. He always supplied my Dad with latest prints and inside news. |
A Nigerian girl born in US ma akata. She may hold that pass for you to achieve more etc but your values may not be the same. Akata values are different from ours. As you're saving to build a house, she's thinking of spending that money on holiday trips. Check yourself. |
The present indomie generation may never fully understand the role this man played at a time in the nation's history. Idiagbon was a heck of a man. He was ten men built into one. The only officer that attended AFRC meetings without his cap, which infuriated fellow officers like IBB but they couldn't challenge him because you can't stand Tunde if he's annoyed. You could get shot, up close. Here is the history. IBB and Abacha and few others, like Domkat Bali, Vatsa actually carried out the coup in late 83 against the Shagari govt and installed Buhari as President. Buhari was the most senior officer, that's why. By popular vote, Idiagbon joined him. Now, IBB and his guys were into the drug trade by the side and just as much, needed the President and whoever is in charge to look the other way. For a while, it went on that way until few journalists found out what was going on and began to write about it. Journalists like the late Dele Giwa. They began to call out the govt as hypocrites. Idiagbon was embarrassed because he and Buhari amd some others were clean. They actually meant to build Nigeria up. It was the devils like IBB and Abacha and their wives who were money hungry so much as to mess Nigeria up. So, idiagbon called a meeting. It was a hot meeting. There and then, he warned IBB and co to stop drug trafficking or he would lock them up or have them shot. He had verbal exchanges with IBB and it was reported that he asked IBB what has been his major achievements in life, to which IBB replied, " i've participated in all successful coups in Nigeria so far" Idiagbon laughed him off. IBB wasn't happy with that. And he began to scheme to topple Buhari and Idiagbon from there. To make matters worse and to show his seriousness, idiagbon began to arrest their drug traffickers and have them publicly shot. Quite alarming then were the confessions of these drug traffickers when caught. Most said they're confused because na the same senior military officers who sent them to sell drugs dey arrest them, so what's going on? And so, before Idiagbon could make up his mind to fk IBB up, IBB acted faster being the maradonna he was, and led a coup agaisnt Buhari while Idiagbon was in Mecca. This showed how much he feared Idiagbon because he wouldn't have succeeded if Idiagbon was around. The rest is history. Tunde, you remain the best leader Nigeria never fully had. I respect you, sir. |
This was the main ruler of Nigeria in 1984. Buhari merely enjoyed the accolades. Idiagbon never smiled. I never saw him smile. The first time I'm seeing his family, it's like he taught them all how not to smile, except the wife. |
I wonder why OBJ can't be arrested? Why are some people afraid of some people? |
Men worship hustle. Women worship cars. |
thebosstrevor1:If what you posted is true, then what happened was likely bound to happen, in almost 7 out of 10 couple's homes. Though, i don't support the killing. It's really tough to overlook a cheating wife and "move on" wherever. Nobody should judge that man. Everybody has his/her tolerance level and emotional snap response mechanisms. Not everyone is as tough as they come when sh.t happens. |
I'm beginning to feel Freeze is from Somalia. |
garfield1:Ok. In the local parlance, homefront means juju. |
garfield1:What do you find confusing? Let's start from there. |
I remember watching him preach on NTA stations on Sunday evenings in the late 80s. How time flies. |
Who knows what came over Fabian? Maybe, this fainted girl isn't even half as nice as she may have seemed. Or, Fabian found a better girl? Nobody knows. I pray Fabian won't regret his actions later. |
I'm surprised calabar politics no stand in her way. That's my alma mater. Their politics no be for here. Let's pray against the powers of their homefront levels. Calabar people will understand my lingua. |
Cognitivedisson:No. I no be afonja wey dey craze for yellow. Her eyes and lips. |
But, the babe fine o. You sure say this doctor no be gay? |
Francis Agu's death hit me the hardest. I actually saw him weeks prior to his death, somewhere in Anthony village by a bus stop. He was waiting for a bus. I mused to myself, this was one hell of an actor. Weeks later, i saw it in the papers that he just passed on. I was shocked. |
