How Nigeria has fallen in leadership standards.

A man who announced that he was paying Fulani herdsmen terrorists who have been killing Nigerians should either be on the run, in jail or quiet hiding away under "immunity."
But in Nigeria, no, his apologists are flaunting him to lead the highest office of the land.

Tinubu, thank you.

Two scenarios.
Break the law. Face the punishment= You give birth to serious states, where accountability is sancrosanct. People fear the law and fear breaking the law. Like Rwanda. Go and throw litter on the ground in Kigali and see what happens to you.

Break the law. Escape it with, "pity them na..."; "they are kids for Pete's sake...."; "forgive them and report to God..."; "abeg na..."; "tamper justice with mercy"; "they have learnt their lessons"; "he/she is the son of that big man, leave him.."= You give birth to weak states, failed states and States where accountability is demonised as evil. Like Nigeria.

Nigerians want the results of the United Kingdom but the weak, "mercy" process of Nigeria. Ko le work.

Sowore should have learnt to fight for only himself. Fighting for a Nigerian youth is stupidity in itself.

Nigerian youths that are full of Tribalism.

When I view threads in politics section, I just smh.

The country cannot be better than the people in it .

Check most of them creating threads of not having jobs after 5 years of graduation. They will likely be crying of, " My girlfriend will soon leave me ".

Seriously, you can barely feed two times daily and what bothers you most is your girlfriend leaving you. You don't know that if you are highly successful, women will beg you to date them.

One I know cannot even pay his rent but is busy carrying woman up and down on daily basis.
This is the bane of Nigeria. It is what got Sowore's former friend, Buhari, into power.

Buhari has NO business being in power in the 21st century. Even committed theocracies such as Saudi have educated, exposed leaders. Guess what? They have light 24 hours a day, the basic for any serious, forward-thinking country.

Buhari got into power in 2015 because of Nigerians have a sworn affinity for tribalism. For 2019, Atiku, a democrat, would be much better than him. Everyone knows this. But because of tribalism, Nigerians have refused to ratchet up support for his Supreme Court apperance, instead happy to suffer in silence. The North and South West are largely silent in the face of this governmentlessness in Nigeria because of deep-seethed tribalism. Their respective kinsmen are in power. So they keep quiet while they cry out as SARS, bad road, Fulani herdsmen terrorists brutalise them while Buhari jamborees around the world. I am ashamed that the South West is docile and silent while Sowore, a South Western is in jail over trumped up treason charges. So, so, so ashamed.

Of course, we all know this. Even if we want to publicly lie to ourselves.
Kil tribalism and you'll see Nigeria thrive. You kill tribalism by focusing on meritocracy and only that. It is that simple.

Good evening nairalanders

Pls help me, how is the best way to address this or fight back this useless empty head called my Ex.

It's been months we broked up, and after then she went on fucking two of my course mates, thinking they were my friends as retaliation, because we took pictures together. Her excuse for the break up, was she came to my place and met a lady shoe at the door, so she turned back for leave notifying me of the breakup.

We met recently, about two months ago, then she confessed her terrible acts, and started pleading to make things work back, I told her Immediately, what I shared with her was just a thing, not that serious to call it love, that I hold noting against her, and we started getting in tough with each other.

So fast forward to yesterday, I uploaded a picture on whatsapp, showing myself and a lady, only for this my Ex to download the picture and post it on her Instagram page tagging it RIP.

A friend of mine saw it, and immediately call me if am alright, he was shocked and sent me the screenshot.
I don't have her as friend on my Instagram and Facebook because of the kind of nature of being she is on hearing this, I rushed to view her page, and I noticed she has taken it down because a friend have seen it.

I plan to respond to this, as this is not her first time of wishing me death, she once threatened 2 of my Ex via her social handle.

She used to be a very nice person during my tenure in school, so caring and always feeling insucure despite her beauty. but this her anger issue always get me in check till I lose my total interest on her.

Pls I need matured or better still legal advice to address this. I don't want to drag in the mud with a pig.
This is a lady I have her nude on my phone, sent to me herself many months ago, someone said I should reply her post with her nude, others said i shouldn't but handle this legally.
1. You need spiritual advice. There is no legal grounds for you to sue her.
2. Block the "heck" out of her. Wonder why you did not block her after the break up which appears to be acrimonous?
3. Do NOT post her nudes. You will be playing a game she is probably expert at, on her own terms.
4. I reiterate. Block her everywhere; stay low and stay off social media. Basically, ignore her.

You will be fine.

Treason is treason. Sadly, that’s the military life.

Babagida ordered the killing of Mamman Vatsa after the latter’s involvement in a coup plot. Guess who was Mamman Vatsa’s bestman during his wedding?

Babagida.

Despite the pleas and intervention of Professors Achebe, JP Clarke and Soyinka and the international literary community, he was killed. Despite the plea from Vatsa’s wife, he was killed.

Sadly, once again, if Banjo acted in a treasonous manner or against orders, he faces the penalty. From all accounts of the civil war/ Biafran Genocide, he disobeyed direct orders to advance on the mid-Western front. That attracts the death penalty. Friend or no friend. I once asked a military friend, “what if your CO asks you to shoot your best friend, would you?”

He said he would. It’s an order.

That’s the military life once you sign up to it. I’m sure Banjo understood. He is military. Seems like his civilian daughter doesn’t get it.

One thing that is clear in this fellow's story is that he moved from one criminal activity to another. Like a sequential curse of some sort.
When I see and hear of Nigerians in the United States commiting crime, I shudder. You are in the Land Of Opportunities. You just need to work extra hard in a legitimate job you are in and you will thrive.

Why engage in crime? If Mexico's El Chapo despite his billions of dollars could be caught one day, why do you think you wouldnt?

Sabaugo:
Am Dying In Silent! What Do I Do?

I got a work in missionary school. The Reverend sister in charge said I will be on probation for 12 months with #45k take home monthly.

As someone who has been at home for months I just accepted the job. After one week in the office, I found out that the work was heavy on me to the extent that I will go home with lots of them to do at home. I went back to her and pleaded if she can add small money to my salary, so she got angry and told me that they will pay me for the one week I worked for, that they don't need my type of person to work with them, that It seems that I like money too much. I cried that day to the extent that I can't open my eyes very well. She later said that she will give me second chance but she will reduce my salary to 42k.

I wrote an apology letter to her and I specifically told her to forgive for the sake of my mother and my son because am a single mother and am the one taking care of them. When I received the alert, I saw truly that she removed the money.

She doesn't respond to my greetings, other privileges she gave to workers," I no dey smell am",she acknowledged other new workers, she did not call my name.. Please I need advice because am just there because I don't have option. Am dying in silence!

Thanks in anticipation
1. Asking for a salary increase after a week is unheard of. In certain places, you would have been sacked right away. The HR process is still quite fresh so they can easily call the second or third best candidate to replace you. Probation gives them that freedom to easily do that.
2. If we want to be objective, how she behaves is a consequence of your behaviour and should be analysed on the basis of that.
3. Your decision-making going forward should be pragmatic and logical. Not emotional.Going to resign is simply acting on the emotion of anger. You realise that you would sit at home for a while once you resign?
4. Get back to work and work so hard, with a smile and be very effective at what you do. I am sure when she sees that, she will increase your salary back to N45,000.
5. After 3-6 months of such consistent hard work, ask for an increase. [Private] Organisations pay for value, increase salaries on value and not on "how you react on your first week".

All the best. Hope it goes well for you.
