If ECOWAS is united....invade and remove and secure Niger. A secured Niger will secure Nigeria fergie001: |
Most likely used the money to JAPA. Why keep that kind of money without multiple signatures? Nigerians never learn...stupid seems to fly around. obembet: |

This is not Nigeria...so shit happens everywhere. They didnt have the resources to save him. May his soul rest in peace. On another note...let us help one another. if you are blessed...donate to the hospital, plan lectures around birth control, visit your alma mater and talk to the students...leave a Legacy and dont live life with nothing to show for it. Even people like Tiwa Savage know the truth...independent women still want men but they dont want to be under men...las las they stay jealous of women with husbands but the idiot women think she is more free being independent and join the sorrow train. BennyDGreat: |
People drive in Nigeria as if they have seven lives. I always tell the driver that picks me up...please wait and let that vehicle pass...that 5 seconds wont kill my arrival time. As a defensive driver, I am always shocked how we take driving with levity...a very dangerous thing...once you lose control of the car...there is nothing that can save you...if its pouring cats and dogs, and you cant drive...be like the Americans...pull to a safe place and wait. Always look at your side and rearview mirror and get away from those the devil has possessed to pass you...Dont let anyone take you to an early grave. The smallest hole...some will try to drive into it...even sidewalks and highway sides not meant for vehicles, I see Nigerians driving by it...so accident news sadly dont surprise me anymore. I tell everyone stay awake and caution your driver lest you wake up dead in a strange land. Doesnt matter how much money or independent a woman claims to be...she will always be jealous of women that have Heads and under the care and love of men. Money and Independence cant replace men..Find how you complement, and let him lead...women want to control men...well men are men...from the days of Ceasar...and Adam, Men are meant to lead. The problem is not the allocation but the transparency. If the offices shows what they received, who they gave contract to and the number of people employed directly and indirectly to make the furniture... it's a way to stimulate the economy. The problem we have in Nigeria is diversion for personal benefits, and the same people complaining about the politicians also benefit from such diversions if they are immediate or distant family members. Furniture you will see on Amazon for $150...the DC Govt will buy them for $600 from contractors. They have to be open about it...those companies buy and make in America and also indirectly fund their campaigns. At least, we know what we are getting...corrupt politicians. ManirBK: |
Implementation is key…those agencies will fight back. Make it all online…you pay and use receipts to pick up goods and install cctv monitored offsite with cctv monitoring the monitors. quote author=nairalandkachy1 post=124986704] https://www.channelstv.com/2023/08/09/just-in-customs-62-mdas-to-stop-direct-revenue-collection-firs-will-take-charge-presidential-committee/[/quote] |
Don't mean to be funny or insensitive...stories like this make me wonder if people are truly under spiritual attacks...the whole thing makes no sense. I won't advice he moves in with you because whatever plaques him can become what will drain you as well. Help from afar and start minimizing because you can continue to encourage bad behavior. For all you know, he might be on drugs, was fired and making up all these stories. Battlefield2: |
Pouring concrete on miss even with the steel reinforcement is bad engineering. Concrete needs a stable base to prevent failure. In few years, the reinforced steel drainage will survive with the adjacent asphalt gone and road back to useless with loads. You excavate the mud, put stable base of inches based on load bearing and steel reinforced concrete…forces will push against badly done drainage system Metrix147: |
The reason America stays great and why China is becoming great...they join together as patriots to defend the nation. This is why US is building chip factories...no matter who becomes President...US Foreign policies barely change. Even Biden withdraw from Afghanistan was Trump's policy. fergie001: |
Gratitude is everything...I became a fan of yours. I see them all the time...they drive, I am on okada..they are still complaining lol Zxcvbnmghtr: |

Hearing those ladies laughing with robbery in progress shows we have descended low as a society. Even if you feel like the police responded because it was a gold store and won't respond if it was unknown gunmen, why would they be laughing about that? They would have been picked up in another country because they seem to be acting as lookout for the criminals or trying to record police tactics. Investigation will then clear them after discovering they were being stupid because stray bullets could have killed them naptu2: |
Tenants pay N10,000 for 2 drums per month in Iwo Road Ibadan for twice a month carry which is N2500 per drum per carry and N8,000 for 2 drums in Orogun, Ibadan per carry which is N4,000 per drum and N16,000 for twice a month carry. Seems Lagos is way more cheaper than Ibadan....Chai. We need Oyo State to be doing this so prices can drop like Lagos...the private refuse folks are fleecing people big time. 001Lagos: |

That is why we need tons of NGO and non-profits. I benefitted from those myself and my foundation IDAGBA Empowerment Foundation is paying it forward. We need loans, scholarships and more funds to improve our universities. Let us weed those that are not serious about education so they can learn trades or non degree certification jobs. Throwback: |
Drainage system is an expensive project. I once worked with our community to fix a 30yr flooding issue with underground pipes affecting like 10 houses in one row...cost ...over $100,000 = N80m so most of these drainage system in Nigeria ought to be piped with PVC under the street so water can drain into them and it can carry the rain to central points....but PVC are so expensive, so we go with gutters The problem...gutters fail...gully erosion can sweep sand under gutters and collapse them. Fed Govt gave some states funding which they are using to do concrete barriers...though great move but they can still collapse compare to PVC pipes which can last decades. The issue is very complicated. Govt has maps of all these things....but don't want to demolish and create more problems. In leadership, every decision has unintended consequences...and cost will be a factor. If a Governor spends 4yrs fixing drainage due to cost..will he be reelected? There in lies the problem with good governance and political calculations Omihanifa: |

Not trapped o...there was traffic and he decided not to use sirens. The road might even be Federal...when we say Govt ain't doing much...how much is it to fix all the roads and pay workers? Even US and UK get bad roads...abegi officialwdhtv: |
Everyone has something to say...what is Gani Adams doing to help the populace? He can call enough people and raise funds to give out pallatives. All I hear is complain complain complain by the same people that have benefitted from the same system. Do something and be the Difference too...we didn't come into the world with materials and we won't take them with us LagosFirstSon: |
Peter Obi will never comment to praise our gallant troops and he wants to be commander in chief...in Nigeria...I think not Melezenawii: |
I never understand why people ain't solarized. My parents especially my Mom has been enjoying her BeeBeeJump solar for few years now...less than N10k per month in some cases...Solar freezers are available among other things...the fumes from Generator is a silent killing machine....Carbon monoxide/carbon dioxide sapping all oxygen in the community. Even some of my tenants have solar panels now....Buy solar, convert Generator to CNG...save lives. FreeStuffsNG: |
They can all try...we have removed subsidy...the amount of remittances that will be announced next month will shut the naysayers...you can send into Naira account now...the Economy is about to accelerate. Quote me a year from now lol FreeStuffsNG: |

It's not the refueling...it's just as expensive from UK to Nigeria and US to Nigeria...then again, how many people paid attention in Economics class....Scarce resources...if the outrageous fuel is impacting demand, they won't fly. Iamzik: |
Abeg most of them are not learning in schools anyways. Let the serious ones go and study and know that they can't waste their parent's money anyhow ..if you get carryover with these tuition fees...your village people have finally finished you be that. Education ain't cheap..those who deserve it will get it once govt implements Welfare, scholarships and we all chip in to help the best amongst us. a4cube: |
Due to many reasons 1. Nigerians have money and demand and price and supply. If they are losing money due to High price points, they would have lowered it. 2. Summer and students are starting school in the Fall. We have lots of Nigerians attending UK schools ..high school, University and Post Grad...they come home during the summer and need to return back. The airlines know this too. 3. They can't repatriate their dollars due to limited supply in Nigeria and you are buying in Naira, so they increase the amount so the Naira won't make them have a loss when dollars become available. For example...you charge N500 and can't remove it during Emefiele...now it's less than $1 when it was over $1 at that time. 4. Nigeria is a country of 200 million plus people..stop comparing us to ants like Benin or Cotonou. I am sure Lagos alone can dwarf both countries combined Lol qwertyuioplm: |
