I am sure the incoming administration had plans in place. If not, let me suggest.. at least 100,000 buses...use IVM and import some as needed. Each state gets about 3000 buses...they can charge reasonably to dent the greed of Transport people. Keep the price at deregulated price so only those that can afford should really drive. Then those people should have the needed paperwork and insurance. Last but not least, export all the other crude since we will consume way less...and use the money to do massive infrastructures, increase salaries by doubling them...and with time set up credit systems. My own idea They can also proportion the buses for farming communities and based on population in High dense areas and create hubs to maintain...100k driver jobs immediately Islie: |
CBA is what sane societies go through. We didn't have contract as teachers for 3 years...now we are getting backpay but we can't strike and destroy thousands of lives. UCH staff is on strike, and one of their own staff was left unattended to and died. What kind of nonsense strike is that? Keep working...get paid and keep fighting. Don't destroy others to make a point. ogaontop: |
Great News...I hate strike. My sister is part of ASUU, and I still think it was dumb to go on strike. Teachers just got new contract here after 3 yrs of no contract. We dare not strike. In a sane country, education is so critical, you go through the channels and courts if needed, but strike is off the table. Where would parents keep the kids in primary and secondary schools here? How will it affect their jobs and so on? Higher Education should just be privatized or Semi-Private. Govt has no business in higher education as it is the norm in most normal nations even the Arab Nations where they have money to spend and waste. We call them Public Charter...you hire on merit, fire on merit, promote on merit and pay on merit. Clearly ASUU is not working for Nigeria and Nigerians. I am pro-Union, but they do way way too much to destroy the country. Go on 1-day strike or 1-week max to prove your point, but no more. nairalandkachy1: |
According to Kanu, Nigeria is a zoo...why would you want him released into the zoo? He is better off away from the animals...so it is either Nigeria is not a zoo and he is lying or he is part of us...the animals. Abeg pick your poison. EcoBrick: |
Some Nigerians can be stubborn indeed 1. Driving against traffic 2. Collecting salaries and doing nothing 3. Using work time to run errands 4. Public service corruption 5. Stupid strike to frustrate everyone 6. Sabotage of govt infrastructures 7. Belief in conspiracies 8. Fake prophesy and ritualism 9. Fake kidnapping and tribalism Add your own...they refuse to do the right thing upon increase in wages and salaries, deployment of officers, notices to shun Fake news, demand for accountability...they will still act worse than cows and goats. ijustdey: |

You will hardly hear him speak to solutions. Folks like this make the loudest noise but history will forget them once their Twitter account does silent. Always drama, bad news and failure is what he is great at tweeting about
https://twitter.com/ShehuSani/status/1662729863193587712?t=iv11y9vEkJguji4vIRrBJg&s=19
|

AGBOWO Ibadan...they are right there in the morning collecting...I remember one time a driver gave one N50...the man wanted to hold the driver...he said he just started working. He looked into the car, and I guess my physique always makes people think I am a big man or something...I shake my head. I doubt they will ever stop. Another one...took a bike...Oluyole during Ileya...thank God my guy had all his papers...they still wasted our time asking stupid questions. They took one guy and his bike...my guy told me na Ileya money and the guy will need to pay like N70k...so sad. We need this kind of investigative journalism from regular Nigerians to stop this since our journalists have decided to sit in the STUDIO screaming every morning...especially those with Animal Husbandry degree and that Abati, a former deputy Gov. candidate under PDP on AriseNews Lol Voice22: |
Too little too late....The North never forgets...just like the Igbos never forget. It is whoever the South West and South South picks that will win elections From PDP to Labour Party --- SE is still playing local politics. PO should spend the rest of his life reconciling the North with SE...and speak out against IPOB, killing of cows and so on...he won't though. The same reason Orji Kalu wanted to align with Lawan...but it can't work overnight
https://twitter.com/YunusaTanko/status/1662419796980367365?cxt=HHwWioC8qev_jJIuAAAA
|
I laugh in Spanish when someone told me the war will be over quickly...3 months later...he said he doesn't want to debate it. I wrote a paper on Putin. You need to study a man in order to know if he just makes threat or he will actually follow through. Putin will follow through. The crazy thing...Putin is actually timid compared to some of the generals at Kremlin, so If Putin falls...the World will have World War 3 and Nuclear Weapons will be deployed. I pray we never see that day. lhordspy: |
You have to serve before you can be served. If we can make this concession work, it would create avenues to expand into the near future. You asked a good question...we have to walk before we run. The problem in the past is...we try to run as a baby and end up falling flat. It is a big move...a signature move and another way to bring forex into the country. I hear everyone talk about the billions of Naira spent...if this partnership is right, did they calculate how much we stand to benefit with multiple aircrafts. Nigerians want direct flights and this is one way to achieve that. United Airlines just started direct from Virginia and Delta fly direct from Atlanta...they make so much money from us annually. Kukutenla: |
Some of these investigative journalists are just as dumb as the people they claimed to be investigating. Any small google would have turned up what you said...but gullible Nigerians that read only tweets wont research. I had to tell someone that yes...Ethiopian Airlines has 50% stake and it makes a lot of sense because they already have the license for many things...why do through all that? Ethiopian Airline is one of the best in the world. We should encourage partnership between African countries. RealLordZeus: |
Forgotten only by Nigerians that have eyes and cannot see. Let me see you run and do better. JasonScoolari: |
It is not the business of PDP when it comes to the so-called double nomination. Did INEC publish Shettima name twice for different position at any point? No. Waste of court time. That problem of discipline you just highlighted buttress the point why we shouldnt be the major stakeholder. Let Ethiopian Airline run, maintain and remit forex. Case closed. jackcanfield: |
If Nigeria starts managing and they ask for billions...the same you will say they are using it for corruption. We are a confused people jackcanfield: |
I disagree that competency is key. In Nigeria, trust is key. Competent people have looted us dry...competent people placed US Economy on the brink of disaster because even the investigators did not understand banking derivatives cos those in charge were super smart. You think Dezani with Harvard degree was not competent....Trust is the first...anyone can learn to be a Master...but a trusted person will not destroy you when they finally get to the Top. INTEGRITYA1: |
I just pray they wont cut the metals on the bridge to sell. It was shocking when Gov. Ayade said trash cans were stolen and sold...metal trash drums were sold as scraps including poles for solar lights. Our level of greed and ignoring bad behavior of others is off the chain. naptu2: |
Granted bail does not mean he is now declared innocent. They better remain humble for now. He can still be found guilty and likely would unless the police choose not to press charges.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orRUowthMjQ ] |
Good day Bro, Reach out to me if you do not mind at idagbaempowermentfoundation@gmail.com. We wont perform miracle overnight, but I do believe that we have and can make a difference. You graduated with 2.1...which school did you study at and what did you major in? I am sure there is a lot we can discuss. My believe is this --- every family has a David. It might be the first, second or last child. Like Ogunde once said, the head of a man cannot face calamity for 20yrs without a breakthrough. You might need to focus on yourself...so you can become the King that delivers your family. You are on the right path. You have taken the initiative....this is the beginning of greater Grace. You clearly didn't read that this is by far the most advanced refinery in the world with Sulphur, Phosphate capture...which eliminates green house emissions. Even the gas would be used to generate 12,000MW of Electricity to power the SW corridor. Aint you surprised no one is speaking about your emission complaints? Because the answers are already there in the open for those that chooses to read and not peddle conspiracies. Just to add to it...the amount of emissions needed to ship crude oil in and out of Nigeria...will be eliminated as well, and the time wasted in the downstream sectors, lining up for gasoline...and all the population that comes with that too. I thought they have vowed not to name it after Buhari. They keep claiming it is GEJ that started the bridge. If they had decided on this long ago, maybe just maybe Peter Obi would have won something in the North. It was bad politics to deny a President the naming, when he finished a bridge that was promised since 1978...45yrs ago. I am glad the cool heads prevailed. This is good news...another Buhari Legacy. All Tinubu needs to do now is focus on growth, expansion and production. Buhari has put in place all the infrastructures needed to accomplish a 8 - 10% GDP growth like China had. AKK Gas Pipeline is still in the works. Lekki Deep SeaPort, Dangote Refinery, Dredging, Concession of Ports, Bridges, Airports, Industrial Hubs, Science and Technology, Research and Govt agencies including Security HQs ...all by Buhari administration against the effects of Covid-19, 2 recessions and Russia/Ukraine War. 300,000 barrels of Crude Oil will be supplied to Dangote. Nigeria can produce over 2 million barrels per day, so we can still supply to the other refineries and export the rest without paying for subsidy to bring them back. Then Dangote will produce 650,000 daily...enough for the whole country and enough to export. Plastic materials, fertilizers...if the Refinery bring in estimated $10billion per year with 20% govt investment annually...that will be $2 billion per year or over N1 trillion annually. Add the sale of crude oil and other things, and the N77 trillion debt will be paid off in no time. We have Lithium Battery industries, Solar industries in the works. Nigeria, your greatness is upon us. nlfpmod: |
2.2 or Lower Credit could still affect getting into a Masters program. I know someone that got into UI...they only took 2.1 and above...and traveling abroad too, 2.1 and 1st seems to be the best approach....that is not to say 2.2 or Lower Credit cannot, but not top schools unless you have other major accomplishments to back things up. Ashawoman82: |
Earning power makes a big deal...you will make N90k minus transport on the Island...more than the grosspay at mainland. Take the island...save N50k a year, buy yourself a ride or wait for 2yrs and buy a solid car for someone to do business with....or buy a land and start building self contained to rent...in 5 yrs...you can save N3m and build 1 or 2 self contained unit to generate additional income. The key is to plan what the next 5-10yrs will look like. If you can generate funds from transportation, housing, and agriculture...with your salary...4 sources of income, you will be financial secure till retirement. mohziz1: |
Really...what about Elumelu that just commissioned Electricity Project and the owner of Glo, a yoruba man Mike Adenuga...and so on. Can we stop all these...the Fed Govt is favoring one person. Get in the game, invest in Nigeria and if you know your way, you will be supported. The Dangote Family is Africa-centric...been in the game before most of yall were born. Will he die with it or take it with him? NO...it is for Nigeria. Dangote can die tomorrow...and we will still have the refinery. He could have bought a Boat like Amazon Founder or fly into space. He did neither...or buy a sports car. Phantom233: |
Am I surprised? Nigerians love people that represent them. 8 months ASUU strike. No win, no concession, no pay and yet, he wins. How old is he? You hear all these Unions supporting LP, but they are just as OLD as Methuselah. We should not support politicians that do not have children in public schools...yet the candidate they support did not. Hypocrites...which is why no one respects them. Of course, their fellow members do...they are gearing up for another strike action, and they want the master of strikes at the helm. Nemere2020: |
so out of all the information I wrote, the only thing that matters to you is which scholarship...so you can fleece the information? What is wrong with us. Even your manner in asking sef is a major turn off....which scholarship? Next time, write a full sentence...like..."It is true school is not for everyone, and I am glad you had a chance to make some life decisions. I would like to know more about the scholarship you got for your Masters, and I would appreciate if you can expand on that." We live and learn. RenegadeX: |
its not terrible in my opinion, but a lot of those I know with 2.2 or 3rd class just like Lower Credit or Pass have trouble getting a good job. If you trace it back, most of these students majored in courses they didn't care for - all in trying to enter University by force by tipatipa. Ashawoman82: |
