The same way a dead person becomes invisible when his spirit lives his body so is satan invisible because he is a spirit like wise God.satan is not a personification but a real being likewise angels and demons
.

Do you have any evidence for this or are you just spewing ridiculous religious dogma

we as human beings cannot see the devil except with our eyes of the spirit except God permits us to see him or he himself permit himself to be seen for those that have sold their soul to him.

The truth is he is better described as all the evil you see today.satan is a spiritbeing not a humanbeing he cannot die but he manifest.
This person clearly does not know what he/she is talking about. . . . .

@ mazaje >>> is there any theory or hypothesis u know of which proposes how the early man was able to have societal order without laws
I believe in the words of Democritus who to me is one of the greatest phlosophers that ever lived. . .Laws came about and were created by humans through trials and error, people heard to learn or invent what ever concept of morality they chose to accept and live by. . . . .Here are some of of his(Democritus) thoughts from wikipedia

"Democritus thought that the first humans lived an anarchic and animal sort of life, going out to forage individually and living off the most palatable herbs and the fruit which grew wild on the trees. They were driven together into societies for fear of wild animals, he said. He believed that these early people had no language, but that they gradually began to articulate their expressions, establishing symbols for every sort of object, and in this manner came to understand each other. He says that the earliest men lived laboriously, having none of the utilities of life; clothing, houses, fire, domestication, and farming were unknown to them. Democritus presents the early period of mankind as one of learning by trial and error, and says that each step slowly lead to more discoveries; they took refuge in the caves in winter, stored fruits that could be preserved, and through reason and keenness of mind came to build upon each new idea"

OLAADEGBU:
You can either believe man's fallible ideas that there is no God, or trust the perfect Word of God, that says there is.  It is a matter of faith whether you say God exists or not.  The exciting thing about being a Christian is knowing that the Bible is not just another religious book, but it is the Word of the Creator God, as it claims.
When did any God appear to you personally and told you that the words written in the bible are his? Tell me when that God appeared to you and told you that the bible belongs to him. . . . . .Saying that the bible is God's words without providing the God to make that assertion is nothing but a fraudulent claim. . . . .

It is only from the Bible that you will get the reason why there is beauty and ugliness; life and death; health and disease; love and hate.  Only the Bible gives the true and reliable account of the origin of all basic entities of life and the entire universe.
Reasons like death coming around because a talking snake deceived a woman in a garden to eat a fruit from a tree on knowledge, eh? Or women suffer birth pains because they ate from a fruit, animals also suffer birth pains, did they also eat from the mythical fruit too?. . . . . . .There are other religious text that pre-date the bible and also offer their own mythical explanation as to why there is pain,suffering and death. . . . .Study other religions and do not be stuck with only one mythology. . . . . .How does the bible give the true account of the origins of the universe when it very clearly states that the earth was created before the sun and the stars, its very clear that the bible God has no knowledge of observable REALITY. . . . .
Christianity Etc › Re: Is Satan A Spirit, Human Or Figure Of Speech? by mazaje(m): 8:52am On Aug 20, 2010
Of all the religious myths available, the satan myth is the one that stuns me the most, why is the alleged satan character invisible?. . . . . .Where does he reside? What languge does he speak? Is he every where? Is he presently in the mythical hell or is he roaming around causing havoc as alleged by those that believe in the satan myth?. . . .

According to hebrew mythology satan is an "adversary". He's more like a prosecutor in a trial, with god as the judge.

This is what Robert Ingersoll wrote about Satan's origins:

We obtain our Devil from the Jews, and they got him from Babylon. The Jews cultivated the science of Demonology, and at one time it was believed that there were nine kinds of demons: Beelzebub, prince of the false gods of the other nations; the Pythian Apollo, prince of liars; Belial, prince of mischief makers. Asmodeus, prince of revengeful devils; Satan, prince of witches and magicians; Meresin, prince of aerial devils, who caused thunderstorms and plagues; Abaddon, who caused wars, tumults and combustions; Diabolus, who drives to despair, and Mammon, prince of the tempters. -- Robert Ingersoll

Yahweh was at one time just one god among many Jewish gods, and evolved to be the 'one true god', and it looks like Satan did the same. At one time just one of the several 'chief' demons, now the supreme ruler of the dark side.

Many Christians just blindly accept the hero/villain account without question. But my questions above are meant to uncover the logical problems with such a story.

What are the hero's attributes?

* omniscience
* omnipotent
* omnipresent
* all-good

Right, Christians?

So why not use the super-power of omnipotence to disintegrate Satan into a puff of smoke, gone forever? Why not use the super-power omniscience to foresee failure and not create him? How does the attribute 'all good' gel with allowing the greatest known force of evil to have dominion over your precious creation? (etc etc)

Man's way of returning God's favour. undecided

Did you know that man consists of Iron, sugar, salt, carbon, iodine, phoshorus, lime, calcium etc; 263 bones, 600 muscles, 970 miles of blood vessels, 400 cups on the tongue for taste, 20,000 hairs in the ears to tune in to all sounds, 40lbs jaw pressure, 10million nerves and branches, 3,500 sweat tubes to each square inch of the skin, 600 million air cells to the lungs that inhale 2,400 galons of air daily, and a telephone system that relates to the brain instantly any known sound, sight, smell taste or touch; The heart that beats 4,200 times an hour and pumps 12 tonnes of blood everyday?

So you now understand why man is still scratching his head when it comes to putting his money where his mouth is.
I know all these things, what I want you to do is provide evidence that your own version of God called Yahweh created man and not some other God, if you ask the Muslims or Hindus etc they will tel you that its their own version of God that created man, your evidence that Yahweh created man is WHAT?. . . .I am tired of you repeating the claims of unknown and illiterate primitive hebrew men who said that the planet  earth was created before the sun and that humans were created from dust. . . . .Evidence is what I want not deluded dogma. . . . .

You don't need to be an atheist to see through this scam.  Just a bit of critical thinking skills.  It is unfortunate that grown-up adults will swallow any miracle claim no matter how ridiculous in as much as it helps to validate their religious beliefs.  I wonder what their reaction will be if later they hear that the woman is a muslim, or Guru Marahaji for example. tongue  I bet, then, they will then scrutinise the issue more critically.  It is interesting how miracle claims are accepted without question when they come from the person's strand of a particular religion, but rejected when they come from another religion or even a diferent strand of the same religion!
Very well said, desperate religious people falling for very cheap scam just to promote their religious beliefs, the woman is NOT 60 and the entire story is just a SCAM organized to sell a fake product(barrenness cream). . . . . . .It's also possible that the baby is not hers at all. . . . . . . .The pastor of the church is a fraudster end of story. . . . . .

Since they are struggling to find an answer to your question let's read an account of one them that almost made such inventions.

A group of scientists, atheists and traditionalists got together and decided that man had come a long way and no longer needed God.  They picked one scientist to go and tell God that they no longer needed Him.

God listened patiently and kindly to the man and after the scientist finished, God said, "Very well!  How about this?  Let's have a man-making contest."

To which the man replied, "OK, great!"

But God added, "Now we're going to do this just like I did back in the old days with Adam."

The scientist said, "Sure, no problem" and bent down and grabbed a handful of dirt.

God just looked at him and said, "No, no, no.  You make your own dirt!"

@Mazaje: « #47 on: Today at 09:12:36 PM »Show me the story of Luqman or Shuib, Hud, Salih, what about Surah Rum, or Rahman? And Quran itself answered you with the following verse in Surah Qamar; Sura 16.103 We know indeed that they say, "It is a man that teaches him." The tongue of him they wickedly point to is notably foreign, while this is Arabic, pure and clear.

Quran still in existence and used for all the purposes it was revealed in (The Tongue of the Arabic Messenger/Prophet (AS)), PURE ARABIC. THis Book is common in and not restricted to the hands of the previleged. Do you have the same for the Bible? The Quran itself answered you, Mazaje by two incidents;
Surah Najm: Verses 2 through 4; Your companion has not strayed; he is not deluded;

وَمَا يَنْطِقُ عَنِ الْهَوَى

{3} he does not speak from his own desire.

إِنْ هُوَ إِلا وَحْيٌ يُوحَى

{4} It is nothing less than a inspiration that is inspired to him

The same Arabic verb 'to inspire' used in the above verse has been used elsewhere to more explicitly refer to the Qur'an, for example:

"When you do not bring them a fresh revelation, they say, ‘But can you not just ask for one?’ Say, ‘I merely repeat what is inspired to me from my Lord: this revelation brings you insights from your Lord, and guidance and mercy for those who believe, so pay attention and listen quietly when the Quran is recited, so that you may be given mercy.’ " (Qur'an 7:203-204)

This gives further evidence that in Surah An-Najm, what is being referred to by being inspired is the Qur'an itself.

Moreover, Allah does not make any mistakes. The prophet made mistakes which the Qur'an itself identifies and corrects. How can everything the prophet said be 'divine inspiration / wahi' like the Qur'an, when he made mistakes such as the occasion when the prophet ignored a blind man in favour over the rich when preaching his message:

"He (the Prophet) frowned and turned away, when the blind man came to him. For all you know, he might have grown in spirit or taken note of something useful to him. But you go out of your way for the self-satisfied even though you are not to be blamed for his lack of spiritual growth! As for the one the one who has come to you full of eagerness and awe - you allow yourself to be distracted. No indeed! This [Quran] is a lesson from which those who wish to be taught should learn!" (Qur'an 80:1-12)
Do you have a video recording of Allah revealing the koran to any body or are you still regurgitating the lies been told to you by other men?. . . . . .*yawns*
