You are very wrong here bart erhman is a bible scholar even though he is also a bible critique. What he did was to abandon mainstream christianity becos of the inconsistensies he perceived both in doctrines and texts that make up the bible. Are you sure about this? In his very popular debate with willam craig he clearly said that he does not believe in the divinity of jesus. . . you can look it up on youtube(Barth Erhman debates William Lane Criag)

I have made it clear that I have seen people shot at close range less than a meter several times in two different places (Enugu and Lagos) to believe that juju works for those that use them.

I have never seen any christian walk on water, turn water into wine or heal an amputee and make his/her amputated limbs grow back. . . .

If you want to have any credibility then provide links to the works of real geologist not kent hovind who is not a geologist but a convicted criminal who is presently in prison for fraud. . . are these the people you rely on for scientific evidence of a global flood? ^ I wonder what atheist believe in. When I started this thread, one atheist ran in and claimed that Jesus never existed. Another came in and declared that Jesus made a scientific blunder, now see mazaje, an atheist, quoting and pretending to preach the Bible as if he knew what is written there, BTW, I wouldnt expect an atheist to comprehend the teachings of Christ. You people are just like the Jews who thought by saying He will destroy the temple and buid it in three days, Jesus was literally referring to destroying and building what took years to complete. The problem is that I used to be like you i.e lie to myself and invent things that are not written in the bible to explain away what is actually written in the bible. The problem here is that even christians do not agree with the teachings of jesus and the words of the bible. Christians do not even agree on the basic nature of jesus, some say he is god himself while others say he is the son of god and a distainct person from god. What about young earth creationist, old earth creationist, bible literalist, those that believe that noah's flood was a local flood and many other divisions that exist amongst christians? You gus do not even understand anything you say you only love to pretend. . . . .  Jesus told Caiaphas that he was going to see him coming in the clouds of heaven to establish his kingdom it did not happen simple. . . jesus told his disciples that they should hang on and before they will not finish going through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes. That is what is written in your bible.

Any way I know you will come around with more mythical claims like satan blinding our eyes or that we need the mythical holy ghost to understand the bible. . . na wuna sabi because even you christians DO NOT AGREE ON ANYTHING AT ALL. . . .you guys are constantly fighting with each other over meanings, doctorines and what the bible really says at the same all the sparring sides keep invoking the holy spirit as your source of inspiration. .  .Here is a story about some christian group that say they will burn all bibles that are not the king james version because only the king james version is the real bible. Even christians do not even agree on which version of the english bible is correct, yet they are quick to appeal to mythical beings like satan, demons, holy ghost etc just so that they can sleep at night.

The problem is that you need faith to believe in all these stories that have no basis in reality. . . It's not as if accepting faith as your guide gives you any basis for security in truth or fact, it just makes you feel good. And that's all you really require isn't it?
