@ mazaje,
It baffles me on how these Jesus guys can deny obvious truth just to keep their delusion alive, the trick is more with davidylan and his comrade Noetic,
Na today?. . . forget neotic I enjoy his ridiculous spin all the time grin

Jesus said in the bible that This generation will not pass before he will come back again,  but they once interpreted it on this forum as any generation that heard Jesus' gospel, they forgot that many generations past heard the gospel and yet the Jewish guy did not come in their generations,  making what he said a big lie.
Na today?. . . . the problem is that jesus told his followers in more than 3 different places that he will return in their life times in the bible no matter how much the lying christians want to twist what is written.

Mat 10:22"Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death.
Mat 10:23 When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. I tell you the truth, you will not finish going through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

Here we have jesus telling his disciples and followers what will happen to them he says on his account they will be brought before governors and kings and will be persecuted, he told them not to worry because the holy spirit will give them what to say. He talked about the events that will happen and told his followers that they should be steadfast and those them that hang on will recieve their rewards, he told them that before they finish going through the cities of Israel he will come back. . . .

According to Matthew 26:64 - When brought before Caiaphas, the Chief Priest, Jesus said to him, "I tell you, hereafter you shall see the Son of Man . . . coming on the clouds of heaven." According to this the second coming was to happen during Caiaphas' lifetime. Jesus told Caiaphas that he was going to see him coming in the clouds of heaven to establish his kingdom. . .

Matthew 24:33-34 - After prophesying a wide assortment of events including the second coming, Jesus said to his disciples, " . . . when you shall see all these things, know that it (the 2nd coming) is near, even at the door. This generation shall not pass till these things be fulfilled." He was obviously referring to the contemporary generation.

They can lie all the want but it is very clear from the bible that jesus promised his disciples and others around him that they will see him return from the clouds to establish his kingdom during their life time. . .

it is amazing that mazaje will spun more lies and even attempt to use the "mythical" bible and torah to prove his lies ,   . . , can u in one sentence just state why Isaiah 7:14 was not refering to JEsus?
Isaiah 7:14 is telling Ahaz that before the child in verse 7 reaches puberty (Isa. 7:15), the Northern Kingdom of Israel, that is about to invade in this chapter, will be defeated (Isa. 7:16, one of the two kingdoms about to invade). Why would Ahaz, who lived sometime before the Babylonian exile wait some 500 - 600 years for Jesus to reach puberty? I'm pretty sure Ahaz was dead in 15 CE. How would the birth of Jesus 500 years later give any consolation to Ahaz who needed to make an immediate desicion before the Northern Kingdom invaded?

The hebrew bible does not say "Behold, the virgin shall conceive"(some christian bible versions like RSV andd others have corrected that error), It says "Behold, the young woman shall conceive, and bear a son,". . . .But the whole prophecy refers to Hezekiah, and it is proved that it was fulfilled in him, according to the terms of this prophecy.

Over three thousand times, the Bible speaks of its inspiration by God. His Word is true, and you can believe every word of it.
Actually the words of th bible are false. . .

Ecc 1:5 The sun rises and the sun sets, and hurries back to where it rises.

The sun does not hurry back to where it rises because the sun does not revolve around the earth. . . . so that is a lie. . .

The bible also talks about evil spirits causing diseases and lies about history(exodus).

Mazaje u are very wrong.

I have never defended or attempted to defend the perceived violence in the OT. All I ever did was to offer my opinion on the subject. how does that affect my objectivity.

why are xtians not practising this violent acts today? why are muslims the only one practising violence?
Pls stop lying for jesus. You have attempted to defend or rationalize so much of the violence in the OT. . .that is what you have been doing most of the time, you even go to extreme lengths and provided explanations that are not even written in the bible. Example, yahweh instructs his men to stone to death their disobeient children and your own out of the world explanation for it was to equate disobedience to parents with treason even though the bible says no such thing. You have said so many times that the god of the OT is not evil even when the OT god himself says that he is evil and agrees that he uses evil to acheive some of his goals something that you outrightly deny despite the fact that the bible says that the OT god did evil and apologised for the evil he did.

You accuse moslems of following an evil god that tells them to kill unbelievers but when we show you that your own god once commanded people to kill all the unbelievers they can lay their hand on, you bring up excuses like god has the right to kill unbelivers, if your god has the right to tell people to kill unbeliever in the past what makes allah not to have the right to tell his people not to kill unbelievers?

A christian geologist have provided more than enough scientific evidence to show that noah's flood myth only happened on the pages of the bible.

Christianity Etc › Re: Who Created The Creator by mazaje(m): 11:46pm On Oct 13, 2009
Gidado1565:
My first question to the atheist will be: "What is the definition of God?" For a person to say there is no God, he should know what is the meaning of God. If I hold a book and say that ‘this is a pen’, for the opposite person to say, ‘it is not a pen’, he should know what is the definition of a pen, even if he does not know nor is able to recognise or identify the object I am holding in my hand. For him to say this is not a pen, he should at least know what a pen means. Similarly for an atheist to say ‘there is no God’, he should at least know the concept of God. His concept of God would be derived from the surroundings in which he lives. The god that a large number of people worship has got human qualities - therefore he does not believe in such a god. Similarly a Muslim too does not and should not believe in such false gods.

If a non-Muslim believes that Islam is a merciless religion with something to do with terrorism; a religion which does not give rights to women; a religion which contradicts science; in his limited sense that non-Muslim is correct to reject such Islam. The problem is he has a wrong picture of Islam. Even I reject such a false picture of Islam, but at the same time, it becomes my duty as a Muslim to present the correct picture of Islam to that non-Muslim i.e. Islam is a merciful religion, it gives equal rights to the women, it is not incompatible with logic, reason and science; if I present the correct facts about Islam, that non-Muslim may Inshallah accept Islam.

Similarly the atheist rejects the false gods and the duty of every Muslim is to present the correct concept of God which he shall Insha Allah not refuse.
The methods of proving the existence of God with usage of the material provided in the ‘Concept of God in Islam’ to an atheist may satisfy some but not all.

Many atheists demand a scientific proof for the existence of God. I agree that today is the age of science and technology. Let us use scientific knowledge to kill two birds with one stone, i.e. to prove the existence of God and simultaneously prove that the Qur’an is a revelation of God.

If a new object or a machine, which no one in the world has ever seen or heard of before, is shown to an atheist or any person and then a question is asked, " Who is the first person who will be able to provide details of the mechanism of this unknown object? After little bit of thinking, he will reply, ‘the creator of that object.’ Some may say ‘the producer’ while others may say ‘the manufacturer.’ What ever answer the person gives, keep it in your mind, the answer will always be either the creator, the producer, the manufacturer or some what of the same meaning, i.e. the person who has made it or created it. Don’t grapple with words, whatever answer he gives, the meaning will be same, therefore accept it.

2. I have heard people say that theists cannot be objective, just like u have also asserted. I disagree simply because, I have NEVER been asked any question about xtinaity which I waived away on the premise of dogma. . .I have always given logical, objective and intellectual potent answers which always support my notion that xtianity is logical in all ramifications.
False. . .you have NEVER been objective. . .Example when you read the bible where the bible god commands people to rape, kill, steal and destroy others and even sacrifice them up as a burnt offering unto him you over look it and when asked you bring up meaningless excuses that yahweh has every right to tell his chosen men to kill the unbelievers. . .when moslems go around killing christians based on what their own holy book tells them you complain that allah is bad because he tells people to kill unbelievers forgetting that your own god also told people to rape, kill, sacrifice unbelivers to him as burnt offering and destroy the unbelievers completely. . . .You go around saying that allah is a bad god but when you read the passages of your own bible where your own god tells people to do exactly what allah tells his people to do you explain your away with unreasonable answers when moslems give you the same answer which you give as an explanation for your you dismiss theirs. . . .

Abuzola: Yahweh is a bad god because he ordered the killing and destruction of people including innocent children.
Neotic: No yahweh is not a bad god he is a loving good more loving than your muderous and evil allah.
Abuzola: No alah is the most merciful, he is good and just, Yahweh is evil read the bible half of it is full of death and destruction of the unbelivers.
Neotic: Yahweh has the right to command people to kill unbelivers so what is your problem the people killed, raped and destroyed were unbelivers so they derserbve it. Allah on the other hand tells moslems to kill unbelievers so allah is a bad god. . .
Abuzola: How can you say allah is a bad god when he tells people to kill the unbelivers? unbelief is a sin and all the unbelivers deserve to die so allah is not a bad god your own god also told people to kill and destroy unbelievers. . . so allah is merciful and just. . .
Neotic: yahweh has the right to tell people to kill unbelievers so there is no problem there. . .he is the creator of heaven and earth. . .allah is an evil god because he tells people to kill unbelievers. . .
