olamidemessi: I wanna announce my approval Delay indeed isn't denial . My application was almost a year old. I applied with Reference/investment letter as proof of fund. Until God sent Austacus my way . This dude took his time to peruse my GCMS note . Most importantly , he advised that I liquidate my investment sum as embassy is more interested in liquid funds. At first , I was reluctant until Austacus gave me reasons . After the liquidating , dude put me through a lot and now it's a Passport request . God bless you Bro and God bless you other gurus doing great in this forum .
@Austacus @Austacus @Austacus How many times I call you ? May you never lack , may you always find favour when needed Bro . In all, give thanks to God almighty . Congratulations |

Ibitowaoa: I still need reply to this pls “ is it a must to include birth certificate of siblings or family” because I didn’t include it during my online submission. Not a must, but if you still want to send them you can. Send them to cic via email and quote your application number and other details relating to your application, title should "additional document". |

Helenaira: Pls what are the process for submission of passport after PPR and how much is the fee to be paid over there in total. If it is the same visa office you did your biometric then you won't pay any money. Just walk in and submit your passport for stamp, you will have to leave it with them and they will get back to you when it's ready. NB: After submitting your passport you can pay for courier service (if you know you won't be chanced to go back for your stamped passport when it's ready). Congratulations! |

pak: Hello All,
I applied for an MEng degree in a school in Canada where it was stated that English Test scores are not mandatory at the point of application if your initial degrees were taught in English.
However the Grad studies dept just contacted me that my application will require a TOEFL result.
I requested for two weeks to take the result.
I want to know if it is possible for me to register, prepare and seat for the TOEFL exams and get the results sent to the school within two weeks. Thanks Tell the school you are coming from an English speaking country and you have been learning in English language all your life. Tell them it getting a letter from your previous school (university) stating you were taught in English language will cover up for the TOEFL result (most schools accept that) |

dimeji1: Hello House, i have three questions,
1. My brother waec result is not our yet, can he use online result to apply 2. Do we need to get police report when he is going for submission of document 3. is statement of account or fixed deposit enough as means of financial support for a parent? or do ineed to provide photo graph and others document to proof relationship with his parent 1. Yes he can use online printout, I believe that was what he used to secure admission. 2. Yes, it is part of the required documents for TRV application (though some people have applied without it and still got their TRV) 3. Statement of account is cool(for parents), but if they have other proof of fund they should include them, it's never too much. As for relationship, they should include their marriage certificate (parents) and birth certificates (parents, applicant and his other siblings). |

JustMellow: I doubt if it would hold too much of a weight, but if it was a country were the system functions appropriately, the agent should have been sued.
Any news on your PP? That is if it was started that he used an agent. What most people do is use an agent and the agent applies as if it is the applicant that is applying . If it were to be a registered agent then he/she would have filled the "representative" and with that the applicant can fight his/her case |

Don't hide any of your degrees cos that will amount you trying to explain the gap. |

How can I order for gcms note pls? Are you going for post graduate or undergraduate course? If you are going for post graduate, when did you round up your undergraduate course? Who is your sponsor to you? Out of the 10mill, how much is your sponsor putting towards your tuition/upkeep? Your response to the above questions will determine my answer NB: Above all, make sure your gcms file asap |

Mofpearl: Hello house,
I have a question regarding changing DLI. Is it a good idea to change my DLI while my application is still in process? I was requested to go for medical and it was updated to passed yesterday. School resumes in September. Not advisable to change now, from the look of things your TRV is almost ready (90%). Once you get your TRV and arrive Canada you can change your DLI, present the offer letter of the new school to the immigration officer that will attend to you at the airport then change your DLI in the comfort of your new school |

Kishkosh: Guys , pls, a friend of mine contacted some agents to apply for his permit and during the process . The agents never asked him if he's been refused visa for any country b4 and it appears the agents filled No for that part in the IMMM form . Whereas, dude has been refused USA visa b4.
At the end of the day , my guy was banned for 5 years . Pls, what's the way forward as sin of agents is being visited on innocent applicant .
Bracha, frankrobbn1, makano (my man ) qudcom and other gurus on this forum First, Did the agent use the "representative form"? or he just filled on your friend's behalf? Secondly, if CIC notice a misinterpretation of information they usually contact the applicant and give him/her some time(about 2 weeks) to defend himself, did your friend receive that? If yes, what was his response to it? You answer will determine the next move |

Gracefulylifted: Thank you for your response. They are 6 and 4 years old. Okay, you can apply with your children but to me the best way will be to apply alone first and use them as home-tie then once you get your TRV you apply for them to join you |

Gracefulylifted: Good morning all. A quick question please. I'm married with 2 kids. I just gained admission for my masters in canada. What are my chances of getting a student visa and a dependent for the whole family? My husband won't be staying though. Just me and the kids. Your responses are highly appreciated. You have a good chance of getting TRV. But first, how old are your children? I always advise applicants who are married with children to apply alone first while they use the children and husband as a VERY GOOD HOME-TIE. After securing your TRV you can now apply for your children and husband (that's if they must join you there). NB: Some people have applied with their children and they got it but you have to show funds for the children as well. Also you will have to look for schools/crèche (depending on their age) for the children |

oluwaisgreat: Good evening house, I love the good work in this thread. I want to start my applications for Canada, pls can some recommend me good schools that fits my profile.
Age; 28 Graduated :2015 CGPA: 3.7 First degree; medical lab sci Intended MSC: public health or any biomedical course. Currently Working in hospital
Thanks so much I think your profile is good enough to secure admission, but can't suggest any school for now. You can Google search schools offering your intended course in Canada and apply to as many as possible, the more schools you apply to the better your chances(imagine if you have more than one offer letter and you pick which is best for you). Good luck |

peruz: Thanks for the attention,Please;I will like you to enlighten me more, apart from home-ties,What if an applicant has hereditary property he/she is getting paid yearly and valuable he can turn to cash like cars. How can he/she include all these in the document to be submitted?. Do you have document to prove ownership of the said property? If yes, then include them in your app and state it in your SOP. That said, home-tie can be family members, properties, job offer waiting for you back in Nigeria after your study in Canada..... |

vibbb: Yes. This is my GCMS report: Previous travel not sufficiently demonstrated. Considering relevance of program, applicant’s travel history, available assets/funds, family ties and reasons to return to home country for general establishment in the home country. Given the PA’s assets /available funds I am not, satisfied it is logical given the cost of studying in Canada. I am not satisfied the course of study makes sense given PA’s history and education which leads to concerns the PA’s is leveraging the SP program as an entry to Canada and not for academic reasons. I am not satisfied that PA’s is sufficiently established to motivate them to leave CDA at the end of an authorized stay. Wow! okay, just work on your SOP and LOE (together with the other things) |

Cool, try and work on your SOP this time. NB: Hope you have ordered for your gcms file? It is very important as well, cos it will show the real reasons why your app was delayed. @Austeenpee also suggested same |

Am I to tick yes or is it no? since I'm applying alone for now. Please help, I don't want to make a mistake and I'm gathering information. Tick "No" since you are applying alone first |
