NiyiOmoIyunade: Please who can help professionally repair this ebike battery pack?
I want to dissassemble it, spot weld the connections and replace the BMS.
Kindly PM me on 0808 [One One] [44442] if you are able to do the job.
I changed mine to lifepo4. Life's has never been this sweet. Constant torque due to low voltage sag, ability to charge at a faster amp. The only downside, it's bulkier
dejidotun2000: I use Bosch GSB 180Li. It a 3 in 1 (drives screws/lag bolts, drill and hammer mode).
Comes with two batteries and Bosch has a service centre off Kudirat Abiola way if you need parts or repairs.
Someone graciously provided a link to their shop. Loved what I saw, but ain't in the market to spend such on a drill which I'll sparingly use. Thanks a lot for your contribution.
NiyiOmoIyunade: I send my techs out to the field with Ingco and Total products and they kick ass. All the batteries are also swappable amongst each other.
If not Ingco then you could choose one of the popular US brands like Dewalt or Black & Decker and if you really wanna splurge the Japanese brands (e.g the famous and much venerated Makita)
See Ingo drill driver below - I have a few pieces each of their cordless drill, hammer drill, angle grinder and they all rock!
I know DeWalt is top of the shelf, I'm just afraid when you buy in Nigeria it could be a clone you are buying. I have an Ingco clamp meter, those guys appear to produce every tool you can think of. So far between Ingco and Total, which do you recommend? Don't wanna end up getting a clone of the more renowned brands. Thanks a lot.
frank417: Who knows a reliable shipping company that can receive my items from alibaba and ship to Nigeria
Try Nonikings
This is how it works, chat seller of item. Tell him what you want to buy, then chat Nonikings for their Chinese warehouse address. Give the seller the address to ship the items to, after telling him you have a forwarder in China. Pay for the item, shipper will ship to Nonikings (in this instance) and Nonikings will ship your items to Nigeria. Get tracking number of goods when shipped within China and send it to Nonikings.
FYI: This is a disclaimer that I am in no way affiliated with this forwarder, just have used their services in the past and they delivered. Do your own research and decide if you want to use em or not. Cheers.
adrusa: Anyone trying to buy this from this guy should be careful and do their due diligence. I just wasted 10K trying to buy it only to realise that the inverter is not functioning and will need to be repaired. I contacted the guy and we agreed on a price. I then sent an installer to go and test the inverter and bring it back to Ibadan for me. That is when the story changed. It was a good thing that I sent an installer who asked for a test, a different person could have brought a non-functional inverter back home for 450K.
People who are part of this fraternity need to be upfront about the condition of whatever they are selling, otherwise it will look like a scam.
Why do Nigerians hide the very thing that could be a deal breaker in a deal? What happens to stating the true nature of the item allowing the buyer to decide to buy or not? Must everything be scammy in nature? Dang. I tire.
Obaelemide: They are not charging you $10. the money is added to you card it is your money. When I first bought USD it was 684.3/$ anther time it was 695 now it is 696.8
The rate at which FX prices is changing it'll reach a stage where you drop rate and the time of day of the transaction
jboixxx: Those people with split payments are really enjoying..... I only had 1 lucky instance.
Contact loads of sellers. I'm now an expert in hearing "No, we can't do that." Immediately a seller say this, I move to the next seller. No time to delay. The last split payment I did I contacted 8 sellers, who turned down the offer, before one agreed. I don't even try to convince the one that said no, I just read their reply and continue with other sellers
chipsypop: Hi Solar Gurus, pls I need help!!! I plan to setup a solar power system comprising of
200ah lead acid battery (monbat) 1KVA - 1.5KVA inverter.
What value of MPPT charge controller and solar panels do I need for this system? I have a load of 450 watts and I intend to be running it while charging the battery too in about 6 hours of sunlight.
odimbannamdi: -The VoC can go as high as 190V, so it carry more panels - Heat dissipation feature is much better and less operational noise - It is bigger and more aesthetically appealing
Edit: I will be using the new model in my current set up by next month. Hopefully, i should be able to give more first hand experience by then
