I have ordered one from AliExpress, knowing that it's gonna take weeks to arrive and I needed the bike very urgent, I sourced for another faulty solar inverter and swapped the transistors. It worked like charm. When the new one arrives I will replace it with the one I repaired cause some functions are not working.
It's better than the bike not being operational at all

That's great. Yeah missing features are usually a thing when one tries to repair it.

My neighbour tried this some years ago, but wait till the sun messes up the transparent tape. Your PV surface will be looking as scaly as a crocodile's skin.

The controller is specially rated to match with your ebike's motor and other features. So check your old ebike's controller and buy accordingly.

The picture you showed shows an ebike brushless DC motor controller, it's hard to repair when it fails. Your best bet is to check the type of controller it is and buy another from AliExpress. I have a spare controller that I bought $15 for one of my ebike in the event it fails.

Always ensure the controller is in a place water can't reach...even if I run in water, water can't get to my controller.

Don't bother reaching them as the customer care is wack and they won't help you do anything. Just find a way to resolve your problem as NIPOST will never help you find a fix.

I think Access Bank has stopped dollar transaction on their naira account. At the end of the day it seems all Nigerian banks don't have FX, the only way forward is to open a domiciliary account and get your dollars and fund it.

I will fix this inside, by the way you could be experiencing the false power draw thanks to a cable of not properly dimensioned.

Try and check your cables e.g, if you moving long distance within your property & 2.5mm is your cable try changing to 4mm.

Sintolord has a more robust experience & could share some insights with you.

Cable is 6mm², maybe the 1HP is not really 1HP
