Baba I greet you.
Any connect will be appreciated
I am ATL...just started my IT career majoring on SPLUNK as a tool

A team in Texas offer Splunk training courses from time to time and may be your best plug on Splunk. They are on Facebook and you can search for them.

I believe in learning myself, so I have several courses on Splunk from udemy.com, pluralsight.com and packt.com.

All the best bro.

I would just say there is competition in the market where new products are been introduced..... They should just tell us they want to rebrand with a new name.

If their story is true, I just pity the employees currently working there because folks will end up losing their jobs and their families will be impacted. Let's just hope it's the rebranding you mentioned that's about to happen.

1 child, preferably a girl, then we lockup and throw the key inside ocean!!!
But most people that only have one child always complain that their child has no companion. Im thinking two at least could be better as long as you're able to take care of them. I only have two - a boy and a girl and they're each other's best friends.

Or may be the lady in question is drunk or high and others are just trying to help her get home. Not every situation is a kidnap attempt.

It's never too late to learn it bro. You can even learn it from your phone. It's actually my favorite game. Just give it a shot by first learning the moves of the individual pieces. It's fun.

Romance / Re: When Did You Decide Your Relationship Was Over? by MemoriesAndMe: 5:23pm On Dec 30, 2023
Most relationships start declining when financial issues set in. When bills take over a couple's finances, there's a likelihood for marrital issues to set in.

Why not keep your job for now while you have workers working on your farm and you can then resign when it's harvest time so you can focus on marketing your produce?

Lagos is the biggest state in Nigeria, and of course it should pay the highest....

I think teachers start with 65k BSc/B.ed

God bless Lagos state

Lagos is the smallest state if you're looking at the land-mass, but the most populated and the commercial heart of the nation. So, what do you mean by the biggest city? Size? Population? Commercial activities?

Some Nigerian soldiers sent to the US for training disappeared and refused to return back to Nigeria because they believe their superiors are simply using them and wasting their lives on battlefields.

Imperial as the name implies is British.

You are correct, the imperial system is older while the metric system is newer. But the US prefers to use the older imperial system while other countries like the UK, Nigeria, Canada etc use the relatively newer metric system.

@OP, I think your problem started from you not having a means of income and she was providing for you. Get your game back on track, get income and respect from her follows.

Her slapping you back to back on different occasions isn't something many men commenting here will tolerate themselves, so I don't see anything wrong with you slapping her back so she knows how it feels.

I'm sure she has learnt her lessons by now, next time she will think twice before slapping a man, otherwise, you will deal with that nonsense for as long as you're with her.

Cheers.
Travel / Re: A Nairander In UK Shows How Everywhere Get Dark By 5pm by MemoriesAndMe: 2:25am On Dec 25, 2023
It's actually like that in many countries, that's why some countries have different time-zones.

The US has multiple time-zones, so does Russia, Canada and other countries. So, when it's dark in one part of the country and it's not in another part, they most likely fall in different time-zones and should accordingly adjust their clocks like other nations do.

While action of the police is reprehensible here, I suppose the first thing that should be done in this sort of situation is to get the victim of the gunshot to the hospital for immediate medical attention.......I hope he's okay eventually and time lost will not count against his recovery cry cry cry
He was rushed to Babcock University Teaching Hospital as the story says.

How do people manage to gather so much grasshoppers to be able to sell them at such commercial scale? Is it like several people hop on fields and start catching them one by one?

@OP, you can talk to a Geologist about it or take it to a university where Geologists can help identify what it is. They are the ones trained on identifying various solid minerals.

With age, it will ease up. Was here too though not as severe as yours seem.
You are very correct - certain things come with age, maturity and puberty. My son is 13 and had stuff like this on his face.

The pharmacist told me he was approaching puberty at his age and things unexpected can happen to his skin as he was approaching puberty and it's natural for kids to develop certain skin reactions.

Same way he started growing little beards and little moustache is same way he started growing the little acne on his face. It goes away over time when taken care of. I just got him an acne cream to cleanse himself with and it's been helping.

I don't know if OP is a kid or an adult, but talking to a dermatologist can help.

Should a passport expires in the first place ?

Nigerian passports expire all the time. I have at least 4 expired Nigerian passports. Haven't you heard of these stories they give at the Nigerian embassies around the world saying they're out of booklets etc?

It's those that end up paying some exorbitant fees that often get attention - the Nigerian embassies are always filled to the brim like a marketplace. I heard the new minister of interior is working hard on fixing that though.
Travel / Re: Traveling To Nigeria With An Expired Nigerian Passport by MemoriesAndMe: 4:10pm On Nov 25, 2023
I still traveled to Nigeria with an expired passport last September and renewed my passport when I got there.

I actually wasted money because I had applied for an emergency travel certificate at the Nigerian embassy in Atlanta which costs about $150, which I got same day.

Upon getting to Murtala International Airport in Lagos, no one even looked at the Emergency Travel Certificate I wasted money on, rather they just stamped the expired passport and allowed me entry.

However, while I was in Nigeria, I renewed my Nigerian passport for the 10 year version so I don't have to deal with the 5 year one that expires all the time.

Cooolme:

I understand this too, I have a job coupled with a side hustle but I find time to engage people I cherish. It's not that hard for real and by the way she communicates with my Mom sometimes so it doesn't mean she don't have my time.
I'll just do well to leave her alone.

NOTE
Don't know how this post made it to FP, y'all saying I'm billing her need to read the post fgs.
She calls my Mom sometimes, that's why I'm bothered why she's refused to answer my messages. Having someone abroad doesn't mean you'll bill them, don't know why Y'all be thinking this way.

Time is expensive to anyone, especially anyone working on shifts abroad. If she has some time to communicate with your mom, why do you need her to create extra time to communicate with you? Why can't you tell your mom whatever you want to say so she can answer all questions at once and focus on her life? Not everyone has the time to sit on social media responding to everyone trying to start a chat with them- that's pure waste of time. If she was living in places like Ajegunle, Ikorodu and all local places in Nigeria, would you be looking for her like this? Of course not, na abroad people una dey wan associate with.

Is it not through free whatshap communication that everyone started befriending anyone with a foreign number?

Do you know how many of her old school-mates that may be bugging her phone with all forms of whatshap chats and at the end, it's billing from the ones still in Nigeria?

Why should she waste her time communicating with so many people when 95% of those bugging your phone through Whatsapp or Facebook are out there to extort you? Everyone in diaspora is smarter now and have left sentiments alone.

You can consider delivering blocks to building sites with it. You may just need some modifications to the back so the blocks don't fall off while driving.
