Actually that may not be the case based on OP's points, everything takes planning though.

If u think about it, some people rely on family and friends to support their weddings financially, some even take out loans to make the wedding happen, without thinking about paying back the family and friends that supported their weddings.

Suddenly, the same couple have a child and start bugging same family and friends for the needs of the baby. That's lack of planning in my opinion.
