This explosion was an oxygen gas explosion. Probably they were trying to transfer the gas from one cylinder to the other.I still to not know when end users will understand that transferring gas from cylinder to cylinder is very risky .

Oxygen gas is explosive not flammable,I wonder if our fire service has the capacity to handle such .

Secondly alot of those cylinders used in Nigeria are not calibrated ,basic safety precautions are flaunted.

Good morning, does that mean most of us that fill our gas in shops are actually risking our lives and that of the shop owner?
Because a larger percentage of Nigerians fill their gas in shops and it's usually from a bigger cylinder (owned by shop owners) to the customer's smaller cylinder.
