I must say I stopped being one of PMB's supporters long time ago and I have consistently been criticizing many of his actions on this platform. However, on this Kemi'a issue, something in me is giving the lady a benefit of doubt especially if her account on the incident is correct. We are all aware of the over 45000 fake workers flushed out of national payroll for which PMB has not prosecuted anyone to date , again her ferocious attack on NNPC on the need to remit the appropriate revenue earned are some of the key achievements of this lady and we are all aware that such powerful interest will not stop at any level to kick her out. A lesson has been learnt.If you live outside Nigeria and desire to perfect any documentation, please don't trust any Nigerian agent to handle it for you, walk straight into the appropriate office to request for the procedure, otherwise, by the time you will discover you have been swindled, you may not be as luck as Kemi Adrian. |

I must say that it is not only FFK that is happy about PMB's insensitive appointments, I am also happy to note that the man does not care about how you feel from Middle Belt to the Atlantic Ocean. Must the leaders of the other zones always wait to be politically turtoured before they are united? The Hausa/Fulani are no doubt the most sophisticated politically in Nigeria today and that is why they will always have thier ways. The Igbos cannot trust the Yorubas, the Yorubas are always suspecting the Igbos and Middle Belt are divided within bthe zone. The differences in the various zones made a perfect environment for the likes of PMB to think less about the relevance of other tribes and zones outside the core North. Yoruba culture is being challenged by some women in USA and some people are very happy about it!? This is another evidence that Africans culture may be annihilated with time due to misplaced value system. How do you expect the man, the head of the family to be, to go prostrate for your parents and yet you can't kneel to him or his family members? You are an invitation to crisis. I blame your parents and the bride groom. The bride groom shouldn't have prostrated to your parents, he should have stretched out his hands to them to sake them in appreciation of thier inability to train thier daughter in the value and culture of his people or simply wave them by saying hi guys , bring me that your daughter for marriage if you wish. Not everything about western culture is good for us to the extent of abadoning our culture completely . The most annoying aspects of the show is the pride she displayed thereafter that her kneel did not touch the ground. |

How will EFCC convince us that it's not been used by APC to persecute opposition? Today you freze Benue because Ortom decamp from APC tomorrow it is S/Ibom because you want to weaken the PDP lead government in the state to enable Akpabio win the state for PDP. If PDP had treated APC that way in 2015, APC wondn't have won. Play politics in a way that Nigerians will be able to decide who they want not who you want to impose. Although I am not a member of RCCG ,but my understanding of the situation is that Senator Remi Tinubu has been married to Ashiwaju before she became 'born again' therefore the idea of divorcing the man is and will not be necessary if the man is not persecutiing her or stopping her from following Christ . There is a portion of the scripture that advice spouse with unbelieving husband/wife and that through thier perseverance may win the husband/wife to Christ. That kind of situation is a type of cross that the people facing such circumstances will have to carry and follow Christ. The spirit of God may minister to Tinubu through his wife's actions and inactions as a Christian than many sermons on the mountain. I am one of the people that commented on her thread and my recommendation was based purely on information provided. Now , I feel I am wrong after reading this thread. Now this is my suggestion, both sides needs to shift position a bit. if I may borrow IBB slang, a little to the left and a little to the right. Please don't insist she change it to your name alone, let the house be in your joint names Mr and Mrs. Secondly, I wish to state that most marriages failed these days because couple don't always want to concede to each other, but for the sake of your children who I presume you both love please reconcile. It appears you two are not able to manage God's blessings? At the meeting let them know you are ready to change the title to Mr and Mrs but let the Mrs show your first name e.g if you are Mercy and your surname is Daniel while your husband's first name is James, you will change it to Mr and Mrs James and Mercy Daniel. You will also request to keep custody of the title . I feel very disappointed with the comments of some Nigerians on this matter. Why must we waste our time discussing the violation of ILO when nobody including the Federal Ministry if Labour and MTN is discussing the violation of our labour law in this country. Yes, we need foreign investment but anybody bringing his or her money to Nigeria to invest is not doing it because of special love for Nigeria, it is because their feasibility report shows such investment to be viable and that the investor is ready to comply with the law of the host country. If MTN thinks it can hide under ILO on this matter, the company has missed it. The same company is becoming notorious for violating law. We remember how the company took the law on registration of subscribers for granted untill NCC slammed it with huge penalty. This lead them to start negotiation and unfortunately they got huge concession. Now it is violation of Labourer law. . I can't but hail the NLC for waking up to her responsibilities. Irresponsible corporate entity like MTN deserves no form of mercy. Indeed, South African that are killing Nigerians in thier country wouldn't care to invade Nigerian firms and kill Nigerian workers if the firm ever made attempt to violate law like MTN is doing in Nigeria. |
