Lets not forget that the poster is not the one in the wrong here. Her husband really has no business communicating with his ex the way he does, except his ex is his sister, and that would be even more worrying. The husband has sown the seed of mistrust, and poster is right to be concerned. We are no kids anymore, what usually starts innocent ends in disaster. I always caution my married friends, including myself, temptation is always a phone call away. the fact that one is married does not mean one is immune. if one really values thier marriage, they will guard it jealously, including building hedges around. Dont put yourself in a position that will tempt you I dont think the poster needs to set ultimatums. Simply sit him down and let him know what he is doing is making you extremely unhappy and uncomfortable. If husband really loves the wife and respects her, he will stop |
There is really no trust left in this world. Your husband should not, and I mean it "Should Not" be maintaining that sort of relatationship, it might start off innocent, but we all know where these sort of things can lead. For those suggesting that she is blowing hot steam, Na Lie. Tell your husband clearly that you are not Happy with the relationship he is keeping, that is it making you very unhappy. If the girl needs someone to talk to, let her talk to her husband to be Dem say na small Shiet dey stain Nyash |
Ikwikwikwi:Nowhere, but I done stop to drink panadol for Nigeria wahala. Just take a look at the ministerial list and tell me if there is hope? Anyway, like I talk, the Nigerian project done end |
Some people are waking up and smelling the coffee in 2011. We havent even identified the right path, talkless of walking on it. and believe me when i say we are very far from any redemption. All you need to confirm is look through the current ministerial list, that will give you all an idea. As for me and my family the Nigerian experiment is over. Una goodluck |
I raised a simple question the other day, and I re-state "Is the Nigerian security services (all arms), fit for purpose?", and the answer to that is NO. there is no way we can fight this evil with the sort of security forces we have in that country. Goodluck, must accept that and start a total restructure sharp-sharp. We are in dangerous times and our government needs to act quick |
If there is clear evidence that she was in a position to participate in NYSC and she didnt, then really, they shouldnt be considering her. Rules are rules, and we must all obey them, especially from the Presidency |
@Kobojunkie, Yes it is. Uduaghan has been spending so much money to try to cover up for Ibori |
Na today Uduaghan and Ibori start to hold Delta hostage? We are finished |
Uduaghan will not stop until he bankrupts Delta state. |
James Onanefe Ibori arrived at the Southwark Crown Court 1 before Judge Geoffrey Rivlin QC today to face series of charges over the theft of $290 million from Delta State, over which he was governor for eight years. Ibori appearance this morning was for a preliminary hearing to determine if Mr. Ibori should face trial with Elias Preko. Mr. Preko, a Ghanaian and former Goldman Sachs banker, was Ibori's London financial adviser, and he was brought to court as well. He had been named in a series of deals involving Ibori, Henry Imashekka and Orji Kalu, the former governor of Abia State, in offshore accounts in Guernsey. Specifically, Mr. Preko was involved in setting up offshore accounts in Guernsey where Ibori deposited £ 3 million and he was also fingered in the purchase of a $20 million purchase of a private jet for Ibori. Ibori's case Number is T20117192. Curiously, today, about 50 Ibori supporters of took over the premises of the Southwark Crown Court, perhaps in a pre-determined strategy to ensure that the court is not dominated by eager Nigerians who see Ibori as a symbol of the corruption in their homeland. SaharaReporters learnt that most of the "supporters" were sponsored the Delta state government. http://saharareporters.com/news-page/uk-money-laundering-trial-james-ibori-commences-delta-state-sponsors-50-supporters-london |
I beg, ask am wetin im do as comissioner? the guy should go and rest |
@EMPEROR, I agree with you, but Nigeria still remains an extremely hostle and unfriendly place to do business or start out. If you are not careful all that saving will dry up without achieving much. Dont get me wrong, I am not asking for perfect conditions, but one which is suitable. |
@pelezico, I feel you. I am in the UK and I understand what you are going through. Nigeria is an option, but it must be one you go in with your eyes open. It gets very tough, with no support system in place. Things you and I take for granted in the UK is extreme luxury in Nigeria. From health to education. Remember this problem is everywhere, in the US, it is just as bad and Nigeria at this stage is not as rosy as some would make it seem. If you are considering leaving for economic reasons, consider Canada. Actually a lot of Nigerians have left the UK for Canada and they all have good things to say. |
Toto power |
Former governor of Delta State, James Ibori, will appear in person in a British court on Friday in continuation of his trial for corruption, a Metropolitan police spokesperson has said. Mr Ibori, who was extradited from Dubai on April 15, appeared before the Southwark Crown Court by video link on April 28 and has been remanded in custody ever since. The case was adjourned for today to allow for the service of the Crown case papers. Mr Ibori, 48, is being prosecuted for money laundering and conspiracy to defraud. The London Metropolitan Police had launched a manhunt for Mr Ibori for money laundering offences. A British court froze $35 million of his assets in 2007 on suspicion they were proceeds of corruption. http://234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/Home/5721041-146/story.csp |
I was thinking of starting a similar thread, but with the following topic "is the Nigerian security services (all arms) fit for purpose?". I wouldnt go down the line of civil defence, that would be hard to manage and who will be responsible. I would suggest a total overhaul, which means starting from scratch, with proper training and equipment. Infact I was speak to a friend that other day about getting ex-British police officers to come and run / setup the new police academies |
Somthing tells me he had his suspicion about your affair, hence the I dont give a damn attitude. You guys need to sit down and talk |
Best for you friend to speak to his boss, candidly and make him understand that he is really pressed for cash. Like someone said, if he goes the gra-gra route he might not get anything. Whilst softening oga up, start looking for something else. it is a shame that in 2011 on proper employment law to protect the employee |
Good, let har stay clear of the cesspit goverment. Why damage the good name and all the hardwork she has put into her career, for a very weak, directionless administration. Goody has not shown the necessary determination and direction to attract serious game-changing material |
You all wait till Ibori comes back, even Goodluck will be at the Airport to welcome him, with pardon letter and a new wife. This our shameless country Nigeria |
@Shakespare, Is it by choice or you are being forced out of your job? If being forced, then you need to start thinking of ways you can start a small business to get you by. Nothing big for now that requires huge capital. That would probably give you enough time and space to think of your next move and also keep money coming in, not matter how small. The thing, is that one is often faced with challenges were you have no other option but to restructure, but the thing is that it only last for a short while. Are there any courses you can do that will give you and advantage getting better work? |
This is positve news. I really hope the governor will get the necessary support from the federal goverment to drive this forward quickly. This could end up being a model project which can be adopted by other states and moved forward. However, the formula of power distribution has to be looked into. The power generated from this plant will need to be fed into that national grid and from there re-distributed, thus not necessarily solving the state power issue. The way it works in other places is that the state gets first use, and then excess if put back into the National grid, but my understanding is that is not tha case in Nigeria |
Nice. The good old days of polo park. I remember going on the rides as a kid. I just love that town Enugu, and I am excited about what Chime is doing. I hope the finishing is good though? |
^^^^ Ol boy, I tire. It is looking like Ikebe Super |
I hope this goes through. It will be a good move for both player and manager. Osaze will fit into Arsenals way of playing |
WAEC has it's part to play, but Central government must take majority of the blame. It is just like every other thing in that country. What is so wrong with setting up a regulatory body to police and govern education. A central vision whereby schools are regularly inspected before they open and while they are run. whoever applies to school license must be scrutinised by the appropraite authorities and must be seen to meet the fit and proper persons to qualify. That way the quality is somewhat checked. If a school after X amount of years of operation is deemd to be failing, it is either taken over by government or closed down. What is so funny is that the Nigerian goverment has a cordial relationship and history with the UK, why can't they seek proper advice on how to improve things |
@Apocalypes, Thanks for sharing your experience with us. I have always believed that the truth path is best. I remeber being in a room years ago, when some guy was describing how someone fiancee was cheating, the graphic details was unbelievable. The guy did not know that the womans fiance was in the room with us and heard the full details. believe me, it was as if someone died that day @Upendo 98, I bet you Hillary clinton would have preferred to have found out from her husband that he was cheating than the way it was splashed all over the world |
@upendo 98, Have you actually seen the consequense of concealing only for the partner to find out at a later date through another source? Well if you have, you will probably understand that it probably would have been better to confess early. Besides, no one can say for certain what the out come would be, we are all assuming that since it is a confession to a man, the likelyhood of forgiveness and healing are slim? There is a freedom one achieves from the truth that no amount of concealing can give. We might think that we are sparing one the heartache by concealing only to find out that we are doing more harm than good. People often under estimate each other, and the power of some to overcome and heal |
wetin remain now. the lady say she no go talk. decision has been reached |
I think say this matter don end? |
Fhemmmy:Why all the shouting? u see ghost? |
apocalypse:I have been trying to explain this same point them. How can you seek a new begining without starting with a clean slate. there is no way one can move forward when concealing facts |
