Assalamu alaikum, "O you who believe, fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you that you may attain piety" (Qur'an 2:183). Very good thread. We would, inshaAllah, be contributing. May Allah, the Exalted, answers our prayer in the month and after it. May He put us amongst those who will be forgiven in the month, amen. |
You are indeed a lunatic. An apostate is a threat to allah ? why would a simple human changing religion be a threat to his wimpy ego and he claims to be all knowing? Mohammed made that rule because he and allah are one and the same spineless next time you'll tell us there's no compulsion in relion yet an apostate is a threat. blood suckers what is the difference between you folks and ritualists?
What is this, $osisi? And then if Abuzola responds in kind he'll be accused of behaving harshly, huh? Please behave your age, or I learn you are not a small kid; ven an elder. Thanks |
sleek29:Don't know whats becoming of you; you these days defame, ridicule and dent Islam with gusto. Wish you'll get off this act as soon as possible, for it at least is not maturity, sensibleness or rational act. Thanks |
You should simply answer my questions. |
Wish Loon all the best. |
@noetic2, The instances are myriad. I would only ask you to re-follow this very thread, see yourself and judge. By the way, I am preety getting piss off with this religion versus religion discussion on this board. I kinda feel I would soon quit frequenting either coming here or engaging myself in such a seems-like futile venture. And I should not be miscalculated: for example, I don't want to sound self-congralatory or pompous but I would say it--thats to say I have never been defeated at least on NL. And I pray never will I be, for I believe, hold and defend truth, i.e. my Deen, the Deen of God--Islam. Thats for now. Thanks for your (everyone) fair understanding. |
They are discrediting themselves. I fear them happening of the worst. |
Abuzola:Thats why I say expected. |
What a fascinating argument. I had just been reading other threads unenthusiastically before I came across this very one. I went through it with gusto. . .what an argument! Had it been I knew it's here I would have had my contribution since. Jarus, you fairly enough argued like SLS was a near relative of you. Or some would most necessarily think you are from the north, or even Kano like me. I kinda feel envious. Wish I could to the same. BTW, I too am doing a little research on you. LOL ![]() |
Assalamu alaikum, Reward of the Month of Ramadan: The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) was asked: O' Prophet of Allah! Which of the two months possesses a greater reward, Rajab or the month of Ramadan? The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) replied: Nothing can be compared to the month of Ramadan in terms of reward. |
sleek29:Where was the message from? Who gave it to Jesus? What was the message? Thanks |
Oh fajiboy, na dis ur 1st post on nairaland? I don wonda o! U don't hv to post a reply 3 times. Next time. ![]() |
I too wonder. ![]() |
Thanks, Abuzola, for the elaboration. And, that dispute between Qadiriyya and Ahlussunna should not be the case here. This is rather something different. |
Wa'alaika salam, The fasting is expected to start on 21st August, 2009 AD in many parts of the world including Nigeria, SA and so on. BTW, this thread should be moved to Islam for Muslims child-board. |
Nlers should have passed this stage of wasting time discussing trivia. The whole issue is purely fraudulent. |
Iteoluwa1:I don't wanna begin discussion with a person and then he'd all of a sudden run away. Where are you? You ready to go on? |
Nezan:I thought we have passed this stage, Nezan. Please behave yourself. We don't have to be doing things like we are insane. Thanks for your understanding. |
I wonder how fraudulent news spread in Nigeria more than even a bush fire in winter. Too bad for the development of the country. Wish we'll get more serious and rational towards such an issues. |
Nezan:What is there if it's long or short? Who cares? I, at least, don't. Is it the premise reason of opening it? Of course not. I don't care even if its locked since, thanks to God, you are obviously defeated. I'll, inshaAllah, be putting you in extra prayer; may Allah, the Exalted, guide you to the right path. Discussion closed. |
@David, Help me differentiate the two quite synonymous words "slave" and "servant"? Just wanna know. Thanks |
Its OK. |
Peacefully. And so I'll, inshaAllah. |
Fhemmmy:Whoever thinks this way is very unfair. I am a northerner and live there. But I see this thought as childish--with no backing evidence. |
Written by AbdulFattah Olajide & Muhammad Abubakar (Bauchi) Alhaji Garba Gadi yesterday lost his post as deputy governor of Bauchi State following his impeachment by the State House of Assembly, bringing to a climax the frozen relations between him and Governor Isa Yuguda. Gadi’s removal from office was executed in Bauchi while he was holding a meeting with President Umaru Yar’adua at the State House in Abuja. The impeachment followed the adoption of the report of a 7-man panel constituted by the State Chief Judge Sabo Suleiman Darazo to investigate impeachable offences leveled against him by the state lawmakers. But Gadi yesterday described the impeachment as illegal and hinted that he would contest it in court. “The next caurse of action will be decided by my lawyers. I just got the information,” Gadi told newsmen at the State House shortly after he emerged from a meeting between some leaders of the All Nigerian Peoples Party (ANPP) and President Yar’adua. “Honestly I have no reaction and I do not bother over the impeachment. I have expected it about six weeks ago. Therefore it is coming at the right time but the struggle continues,” he added. Reading the report of the panel on the floor of the House yesterday, Majority Leader Dayyabu Chiroma said the deputy governor was found guilty in almost all the allegations of gross misconduct leveled against. The allegations against Gadi were that he had collected two different estacodes worth millions of naira for a single trip to Saudi Arabia, and that he granted approvals to himself in respect of a request for cash backing of N2.2 million after Hajj operation. The lawmakers also alleged that the deputy governor approved contracts beyond his limit for the renovation of Accounts Office of the Ministry of Education to the tune of N8.261 million and another approval above his limit to the Ministry of Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation for the improvement of agricultural activities to the tune of N114 million. The report said during investigation, evidence was obtained from witnesses including former Commissioner of Poverty Alleviation and now Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Justice Buhari A. Disina and Commissioner of Special Duties Mu’azu Badara. It said the evidence proved beyond reasonable doubt that the deputy governor was guilty of most of the allegations. After presenting the report, the majority leader moved the motion for its adoption by the House. The motion was seconded by Deputy Majority Leader Auwal Jatau, after which it was adopted by 25 members of the House, while 6 other members abstained. Speaker of the House Babayo Garba Gamawa said by adopting the report of the panel with two-thirds majority, the deputy governor was removed from office. Gadi’s woes began when he refused to decamp along with Yuguda and most of the state lawmakers to the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP). The state lawmakers initiated impeachment proceedings against him by coming up with allegations of gross misconduct against him. Gadi went to court challenging the constitution of the impeachment panel set up by the state chief judge, arguing that most of the members of the panel did not qualify to be on it because they were partisan. But the court on Tuesday ruled that only one of the members was not fit to be on the panel. The committee was reconstituted on Wednesday and within 24 hours it had submitted a report to the House, which instantly adopted it. In his reaction, lead counsel to the deputy governor, Mr. Mike Osuman SAN, described the impeachment as unconstitutional because, he said, the new panel, reconstituted only a day before the decision of the House after the substitution of one member, did not listen to the side of the deputy governor. He said the deputy governor was on a 10-day leave approved by the state governor and that the reconstituted panel did not serve him personally with the notice before it went ahead with its hearing. Osuman said he would advise the deputy governor to appeal to clear his name from the allegations. One of the only four ANPP members in the House who refused to decamp along with 17 of their colleagues to the PDP, Alhaji Muhammad Aminu, said the removal of the deputy governor was a charade and only intended to serve the selfish interest of few individuals. In his reaction, a resident of Gwallaga area of Bauchi metropolis Malam Yakubu Sani said the House and whoever was behind the impeachment of the deputy governor were not fair to him. But businessman Abubakar Adamu Osigwe of Dutsin Tanshi area said the deputy governor’s removal served him right because he should have resigned or follow his boss into the PDP. Efforts to get the reaction of the state government failed as commissioner in charge of the information ministry Bala Jibrin told our correspondent on phone that he had no information regarding the impeachment. There are speculations that the Speaker of the House may be compensated with the position of the deputy governor while former speaker of the House, Halliru Jika, who was removed about two years ago may return to that post. http://www.news.dailytrust.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=4470:bauchi-deputy-governor-impeached-while-meeting-yaradua&catid=46:lead-stories&Itemid=140 |
Nezan:Many know that God exists. Just use to deny the fact. |
redsun:Get your crap. Get lost. Pity. LOL ![]() |
Nezan:Why quit discussing there? ![]() |
Beaf:I partly agree with you. But you as well sound tribalisctic, considering Northerners being mainly Hausa and you probably Yoruba or Ibo. |
alimat 2:I don't think it can be done. Though I lack proof to back up my saying so. Someone should help, please. Thanks |
