SUFFERInSMILIIN: Rumours are going around what cause the pipeline explosion might have been a technical error.liquefied natural gas or lng was pumped into the pipeline with some petrol. What this means is the pressure in the pipeline skyrocketed 22 time the normal pressure which made the pipeline into a bomb. It is not the first time nnpc has made this mistake before some of the important petrol into the country anything is added to it including liquefied natural gas This could actually be the cause. It makes a lot of sense to me. Those who steal petrol from pipelines don't use bombs to open up the pipes because when they finish loading, they need to close the opening! |

It only came faster though the Reds.

I am NOT a pluralist. I am Christian. Unapologetically, fearlessly Christian. We don't kill for religion. We don't segregate. We won't shut people of other faiths out from jobs, positions of authority or jeopardise their income earning potential or security. We allow others be. And we can't be killed, intimidated or starved away from Christ. I WANT YOU ALL SAVED AND PREPARED FOR ETERNITY IN HEAVEN: THROUGH JESUS CHRIST. BabaRamota1980: They dont owe anybody an alternative. You should be asking yourself, now that okada and napep is banned, what alternative do you have for yourself? What those Okada riders don't even realise is that the Government is even helping by making them rearrange their future. There are many skills to learn that are more dignifying than Okada riding. Would these riders want to do this dangerous work when they are in their fifties and sixties. They are not even thinking of the health hazard of being exposed to wind, sun and rain while riding. A lot of cities have banned them in Nigeria and heaven did not fall! |

Politics › Re: Okada Ban: Ajao Estate Residents Protest Exclusion by murmee: 9:00pm On Jan 30, 2020 |
datola: Okada, keke are big nuisance on Lagos roads.
Those keke riders are worse and move like demons. The other day, one was stopped at rail crossing when a train was approaching. The rider briskly turned the head of his tricycle to jump into his death and many others on board.
I learnt that virtually all of them take alcoholic drink before setting out on their rough ride.
People should watch out as they graduate to another level of what they call 'korope'- those Suzuki mini buses are high breed of keke and danfo.
Their only advantage is fast movement as against deludes of disadvantages.
It is also noteworthy that most of the bike riders are hausas from Northern neighboring countries.
Apart from safety issue, they constitute so huge security burden to all well meaning and right-thinking residents of the state. Your last paragraph is so apt. Trailer loads of Okadas and their riders arrive Lagos every other day from all over neighbouring countries. That was how Boko haram started. No responsible Government will close his eyes and allow terrorists to invade his territory ! |
