This is a very good decision by the Lagos state government. The whole of the state is becoming defaced with the multitude of motorbikes and tricycles that are being used for commercial transportation. The LASG should not have allowed the so-called O Pay etc in the first instance. Any form of motorbike transportation is not proper for a city like Lagos!

This is why the South West needs AMOTEKUN!

We really thank HOLY SPIRIT for the testimonies of what HE has used these threads to reveal to many here. I was shocked at the answers initially given by many when I created a thread titled "What is the Purpose of Man on Earth? What is your Purpose on Earth?" Many answered by saying they were amazed that they've never even given that a thought before that day, so, they didn't really know. But by the end of the thread, we've all learned the Purpose and became better beings.

Human being Created by YAHWEH ALMIGHTY can be compared to robot manufactured by man.
The only major difference is that ALMIGHTY gave humans free will to choose whether to be resurrected to live forever or to permanently die, unlike robots that don't have any free will. The man-robot comparison in this post would help us to better understand the tripartite nature of Man as Spirit, Soul and Body. A Man is essentially a Soul, we shall see below.
To understand the 3 components that makes a man, we compare them to the 3 components that makes a robotic computer.

*The physical Hardware is similar to man's physical body. The probability that the robot or computer would still function well even when the mouse or keyboard is faulty is still high. So, loosing a leg, hand, or eyes still don't prevent a human from discovering and fulfilling his glorious Destiny in accordance to the Will of his CREATOR.

*The Software on which the robot runs is similar to the human Soul. The software is the determinant of how well the robot works. It would determine if the computer would excellently perform the task for which it was manufactured or not. I once had my computer system paralyzed by virus infested software, it was an experience far from being pleasant. Just as hackers infect our computers, Satan have put things in place to infect, hijack or worse still, to permanently kill human Soul. he hates the Truth that Man, who was created from mere clay, has been given the ability to choose to live forever. So, he works tirelessly to deceive and prevent humans from earning that very primary right to Immortality that we were put here to receive. The Soul is a very important part of Man because once hijacked by Satan, he uses the persons body to further hijack, corrupt or destroy other humans, and finally destroy the used human that yielded to be his tools for the sake of fame, power and money. Satan does NOT and can never love any human being. He hates all human being with perfect hatred. As the Bible and Quran confirms, Man was granted the highly exulted position that he coveted, demanded and fought YAHWEH ALMIGHTY the Creator of all for. So, those that go to bow to him for one thing or the other are only being deceived with fake love, so that he can destroy them after using them to destroy other humans.

*The Electricity that powers the robot is very much like the Spirit that YAHWEH ALMIGHTY breathe into Man to give us life. When this leaves, Man dies. This is why when a human dies, the falsely flourishing physical pompous body that some labor all their lives to build and excessively nourish to the point of indirectly eating other human flesh and drinking fellow human blood, begins the process of decaying immediately. YAHWEH ALMIGHTY GOD is essentially a SPIRIT, the source of all other Spirits and the CREATOR of all things. That is why HE is called the omnipresent God. The more of HIS Will you do, the more Life comes into your spirit to build your Soul like a software that has been programmed to replicate itself and grow until your Soul grows into full stature of Christ (Ephesians 4:13) and become undefeatable by the adversary.

Out of these 3, the major one that we humans should be most concerned about is the Soul. Proverbs 4:23 "Guard your heart (seat of soul) with all diligence, for from it proceed the issues of Life" Satan has set so much traps to capture the hearts of men. Be very intentionally selective of the kind of videos you watch, music you listen to, things you read, etc.

It quite unfortunate that many have been deceived to concentrate more on developing, nourishing and excessively focusing all their energy on caring for their body at the expense of the development of their eternal Soul. Consequently, the Soul becomes dwarfed while the physical body that shall soon be dead and eaten up by worms gives false appearance of flourishing.

Anyone that puts his trust in a herbalist, pastor, alfa, marabouts, satan or demons, instead of being irreversibly determined to please his CREATOR and receive the awaiting reward of immortality, does not know the great opportunity that his great CREATOR has granted him. Yes, Nigerians are ready to pay the kind of bills that would guarantee light 24/7 but Consumers should be given Prepaid meters to determine the amount of money they want to spend on electricity. Afterall, people load the amount of call credits and data they can afford into their mobile phones. If the Discos raised their tariffs to N50 per unit and what I can afford for electricity in a month is N6000, I should be able to manage my consumption of electricity accordingly.
The only electrical gadget that is permanently switched on is the Freezer and fridge. All other gadgets and lights are switched off during the day. Even at night, not all the lights in the house is switched on at the same time.
Discos should allow people to learn how to be economical with their electricity consumption by providing Prepaid meters!

I also did. It's so sad that kidnapping is happening so often and with ease. Something keeps telling me that these evil people work in collaboration with the Police.

In saner climes, the Police would have been involved and would have gone ahead of Gbenga to where the ransom will be delivered. The Police (in mufti and not using official vehicles) will take a different route to the place and hide and as the ransom is delivered and the captives take off, the kidnappers will be surrounded or chased.

Of course, there will be shoot outs but that will send strong message to kidnappers that they cannot hold the country to ransom and always get away with it!

I think we must not hide under the cover of irresponsible leadership and bad roads to support this very unruly behaviour of okada riders. They may serve to reduce transportation time from one end to another but have you thought about the risk factors to the riders and other road users?

Before the advent of okada on major roads we all went about our businesses successfully. They appeared on the roads and very soon we started to experience their lawlessness and irresponsibility. Okada riders never stop at traffic lights. If they feel that you are obstructing them they kick your car or hit it very hard thereby damaging it. Police find it hard to control them even as some police officers use them as their personal shops. They are very abusive and highly anti social. Somehow those who prefer okadas have taken to the bad mannerisms of their riders themselves. Please go to Igbobi, private hospitals and local bone doctors and you will see uncountable people getting treated from wounds sustained during their rides.

When El Rufai banned them in Abuja central business district people thought their movements had been completely restricted. Go and see how it is there today without them. Years since El Rufai left okadas still don't dare go to the CBD. They have been banned in some states yet there is peace. When they were restricted in Lagos we had peace.

Our problem is enforcement and very dubious leaders. Just before the elections they become emergency friends with okada riders. Immediately after elections they begin to remind them of the laws.

Okada owners have been asked to upgrade to keke napep several times. Most say they cannot afford it, yet there are thousands who operate hire purchase.

I support that they should be banned completely, no matter the name they cover up with.

Government on its own should fix the roads and provide more buses to make life easier rather than give room for embezzlement and extortion by transport unions and some dirty minded policemen. Government should stop using touts and unions to play politics and stay in power. Government should be responsible and manage the affairs of the people of the state properly.

I say it again any day Okada is totally banned in Lagos. Lagos will become the biggest jungle on Earth. Most low income earners and Abokis in Lagos survives on this Okada business.

My dear, banning Okada totally in Lagos would be the best thing to happen to the city.

So they expect people who live on the island or people who live in places like Apapa, Festac, Okokomaiko, Okota etc to first of all go on a tedious journey to Agege before they can board a train going to Ibadan. Does that make sense?
