I actually wanted to write it in parenthesis in the earlier post - it's actually the Edos; as using 'the Binis' is a common misnomer.

The Benin moats were built by the Binis during the era of Oba Oguola and was used as a defence mechanism.

What would be critical in changing this failed system is REORIENTATION of the youth. Most are still sleeping.
Things seem to get worse for the average Nigerian with successive governments.

Equity, fairness, justice, good standard of life are basic things many, if not most Nigerians have not experienced. Many have to run to (or keep dreaming of running to) foreign lands to experience these.

It's the old Central Hospital, not Edo Specialist Hospital. These two are sited next to each other.
Services from the Central Hospital which is barely patronized will be transferred to Stella Obasanjo Hospital.

There is a dire need for such park as it would decongest traffic at the city center, improve safety and security, and generate much needed IGR for infrastructural development.
Edo is lacking in terms of infrastructural development; this has affected the state negatively in terms of attracting investments, whether foreign or local.

One major challenge the State also has is that BEDC!

I drove past the NPDC head office that morning and noticed young men and women peacefully holding placards. Never knew what the issue was.

I never knew some overzealous idiots went to shoot at peaceful protesters there, and I'm sure it's same for most residents of Benin.

Bro, you are wrong. Most VIPs that travel to Uk don’t go to government hospitals in Uk. They go to private hospitals. It’s Uk government hospitals that are mostly employing Nigerian doctors not the private hospitals and most Nigerian doctors are GP in UK. I have a friend who graduated from Uniben in 2010. She’s still a GP and this lady is brilliant. She never failed a course in medical school and her dad is also a doctor. It’s not all that rosy for them out there like they making it seem.

Lots of Nigerian doctors (and other nationals) work in private hospitals in the UK.
And those who pursue residency training are even encouraged to do so.

It's a personal choice for anyone to specialise in any field.
