You'll wail till 2027 to 2031.

What a sorrowful work your pay Master assigned you.
The wailing is by everyone, you inclusive unless you don't reside in naija. Are you not buying petrol at 600? Gas at 1300? Dollar at 1k? Let them stay till 2090, just as he suffers, so will we all.
One of the prominent jagaban supporters, a fellow in my adugbo, it was yesterday we saw bros landed in Canada 3 days ago. He posted picture on fb. On chatting with him, he said naija don taya am, say no future for him. But why him no stay support him darling daddy move the nation forward I asked? He said from Canada he will show support. Lol
One day we will have sense.

Ok let me ask the question in another way -
'Is the human being made for the customs/culture/tradition

or

customs/culture/tradition is made for the human being?
Customs, culture, and traditions are created by human beings to reflect their values, beliefs, and societal norms. So, in essence, customs, culture, and tradition are made for human beings, as they are products of human society.

How does 'not paying a bride price' invalidates a legal/ church marriage?

How does 'paying a bride price' make a marriage a proper one?
It does not invalidate a legal/church marraige.
I do not know if you are a christain and what church you attend. But in most churches, they make sure you have fulfill ed the traditional rite before conducting your marriage. Some ask if tradition has been settled during the service.
Most tribes in Nigeria from Yoruba, igbo, efik etc will ensure proper traditional marriage is done.
Why do you think people getting married abroad but cannot visit naija, still have traditional marriage done for them, even using pictures as representatives?
But you op from years of seeing your post cannot be a young man, you know better, why are you asking such questions naa?

One of my big brother impregnate an Igbo lady years ago while in sch, so the agreement is that if the nigga finish university the dowry will be paid
Lol and behold in few month the lady parents move the lady to village or so
Up till this moment we were unable to figure out where the lady and the child his now
Mind you, it’s over 10years

Till this present moment we are still searching for the lady
We need the product of affairs
Since you are uncouth, you don't deserve a response.

Useless culture, no wonder they used their leg to wake their parent. Awon omi irankiran
So you want your eg your sister or daughter to get "married" without her bride price being paid? Not be married in the proper way? To stay with a man for 23 years and have kids yet dowry is not paid?
You call the culture of proper marraige rite being done and having consequences if it is not done properly "Usless"?
I am married to an ilaje princess from ondo. A kings daughter and I had to do the right thing to be properly married, white wedding and court wedding was not as important to them as the traditional marriage rites.
I see so many young ladies here in Lagos that will get pregnant, stay with one egbon, saying it is her husband, after 8 months the lady is back in her parents house, next thing is to start runs. Is that the culture you appreciate?

There is a high increase in the cost of running every business
Oga, I drove pass akowonjo and shasha road yesterday morning around 10 am, noticed so many shops were locked up. Busy area before. I learnt most do not bother opening due to poor sales, transport cost etc, so it is not worth it. Some shops open later in the day, as the owners come to sit in the shop since they cannot pay staff to come usual morning opening time.
On the same akowonjo road, visit most eateries, they are mostly empty, few turn on their Ac due to high diesel cost ie ₦1050 per liter! How much will you sell to operate at such cost of running Gen? Only one joint at Egbeda junction seem to be doing well as the sell open air.
Businesses are really struggling these days.

It's well ....

I didn't know the period that op was talking about but from what I heard from my parents and lecturers, Nigeria was once a great nation.

Bad leaders, insecurity and poor economy are the major problems.

I've $40 dollars now I don't want to spend it cheaply because it's almost ₦40,000 to tell you how poor is our economy. Who knows maybe be in few weeks to come $40 might be #80,000 I didn't pray for such though
This country was good. Very good compared to now. In the 60, 70s lots of people that went to school abroad returned, had good jobs. That is why you see alot of people born in the 70 having foreign passports. When the country started nose diving in the 90s, those kids relocated.
We even thought it was bad during Obj til Jonathans time, but you know what? The 16years PDP was there, dollar and pounds remained relatively stable! It was between 100 to 140 to the $. 180 to 240 to 1 pound. It was only during the election period $ went up to 180 due to politicians stacking it if which it wound have returned to the former range.
This 9 years of apc, the destroyers has completely devastated Nigerians and their purchasing power. They have turned Nigerians to paupers!
About 3 years or so ago, I complained of how naira was loosing value. I had 2m in an account I had not touched for years, infact it was dormant. I decided to change it and put in my dom account. That 2m got me $3k+2k pounds. I was upset at how naira had spoilt, not knowing it Will get worse.
Today, that same 2m can only barely get me $2k! No be juju be that?
One will assume when people hear "apc" or "T" not even "nubu", they will pick race. For where? For tribal or party reasons they still worship who had impoverished them even defend their offsprings flying presidential private jets to play polo or buying $11m homes.

Na wah for you of all people asking this question.
Your darling oga at the top said just last year, with a casual look on his face and dismissive wave of his hands, that all youths need is to be feed cassava, garri, ewa, dodooo etc to exist. E bad e bad, put then in the army, teach them to clean and cock/ fire gun, then they eat cassava etc. You in particular joined to hail and defend him. You thought he was joking?
He did not say eg youths will be empowered, get best education, learn skills, access cheap entrepreneural financing, get best healthcare etc, rather you will farm and eat the product of your farming. Why then should you want more out of life when you can plant cassava and eat it 3 times daily and bellefull?.
Please don't be ambitious, be contented.

Israel is the aggressor, the occupier. They should leave Palestinian land and then peace will be in the region. You cannot steal people's land, continuously do that, then place them in a refugee/open air prison ie Gaza, Westbank, control their trade, electricity, borders, food, phone network, internet etc and not expect them to resist.
Israel unfortunately is practising a worst form of apartheid and must be resisted.

Let them come and carry what they bought...
Ok. What you wrote is how things should be done properly. The reality is that every account in the trail will likely be affected. Even in the uk, illicit money enters your account you are likely to have it blocked. My paddy running businesses including money transfer had his business account closed because someone sent illicit money. He had to go to court and won. Another lady went to computer village years back, bought an iPhone from a shop, got receipt. 1 month later Sars trakked her to her office, arrested her, she showed receipt, took them to the shop. Phone seller arrested too. My paddy (foreign based), her relative spent a lot bailing her. They told him to report every other day to their office at huge financial cost. Omo when it started getting out of hand, they both entered plane and japa. 7 years before he visited naija next.
In naija, one does not need such wahala, they know you are innocent, but you will turn to milking cow with threat of jail.

They only paid for what they bought.. The only way he will have a case is when he returns the money to them as they are asking...

Look at it this way, I'm selling things let's say car or bike, u came to my shop to buy things, I don't have a POS machine and u don't have cash, then u call a POS person to debit ur account and then credit mine, I wrote a receipt and gave to u....

I don't have any case here...
