“I was here on Thursday, but nobody, no staff of the bank, attended to us. I am hoping that they will attend to us today,” she said.

Evidence that CBN has no capacity to carry out its policy properly but to score political point and
Politicians are going to capitalize on this to upgrade their vote buying method.

Nigerian Politicians are smarter & desperate bro, watch out how it's going to play out, the masses will still lose at the end

Chai! This country has failed so many people! Just imagine. A promising young lady having her dreams destroyed.
In sanner climes, she would have gotten student loans to the highest level and pay back once she starts working. So sad. Meanwhile you hear of politicians having 20b, 50b and a Frontline one having over 200b in cash to use for elections.
Hmm, make sure your mum does not marry out that lady.
Pay for her jamb, I think it is still open. 5700 or so.
Let her get admission first. Other things will sort its self out.

Our politicians have been demystified. The so called master strategists are just strategists in sharing money during elections.

Obidatti has completely changed the dynamics of politics in Nigeria

Nigeria is about to be great again sooner than we thought.

Cheers to a new Nigeria that works for everyone irrespective of tribe. You will not need to be a family member of Obi or Datti to benefit from their government

May God's name be praised forever
But on a serious note, why did he raise his hand and stick?
Just wondering. Dele alake and his cohorts should come and tell us it was doctored.

Painful as it may be, the man had a willing partner in the woman.
The husband if he has any issue has it with his wife and not the man. If his wife agreed to play with another man, that means she would do so irrespective of this current man.
It is his wife he has issue with and not the man.

Mr. Foolish Anthony Ifeobu, you are cursed forever for having immoral affairs with Cynthia Ugwegbulam, a married woman. You lied that you are the maternal uncle and shamelessly alleged on oath at the Federal High Court, Owerri, you are a family friend. You used her picture as your Facebook profile pictures and album which are online to prove your foolishness and impunity. Your generation will not know and have peace. All your daughters shall be barren and their husbands will be taken from them. The wives of your children and generation shall be snatched by other men. Immorality and infidelity will never depart from your households. You will surely reap the fruits of your evil works. Others will take over your possession since you claimed what you did is right. Evil shall not depart from Your household. You will not go to the grave in peace. Your disgrace and shame shall never be forgotten forever. If you have been sleeping with other men's wives and go unpunished, in this case you will never escape the everlasting wrath of God.
Ha! What is your interest in this matter?
Are you the one they took the wife? Do you want her back? Why not move on? Certainly the husband will not be silly enough to want to continue the marriage.

I've worked with wholesalers in Kano Markets when I used to work in an FMCG. This is very normal. Some of them make very very crazy turnover.
There was one time there was a delay in 1st Bank branch on Bello road after coming back from Easter break (Good Friday to Easter Monday) i.e four days. The tellers were not able to attend to other cash depositors from open of business on Tuesday 8am till around 1pm.
When I asked the reason for the delay, my teller friend at the bulk section said a customer who I know in the market brought close to 420 Million naira cash in different denominations from 10 to 1000 naira.
That is just for 4 days transaction. The bank tellers were counting his money for 4-5 hours.
Their businesses are 90% cash based, it would be interesting to see how they adapt in these times.
But Politicians can still use them though and it would be a good cover because some of these businesses up North do massive turnover.
Wow. Seems I am in the wrong line of business. shocked
Trading in fast moving goods seem to be the way.

CBN is not FBI. I don't think they care about how you made your money, but you won't get cash again. That way, they can accurately track money circulating within the Nigeria's financial services industry because a lot is outside the footprints of the industry.

With this move, it becomes difficult for kidnappers, for instance, to ask for ransom in cash. If you do a transfer, the security operatives can pick them up easily. Cashless transactions have loads of benefits.
Exactly. My UK account, there is a limit of cash I can deposit in a month. Infact, I am fearful to let anyone I don't know well transfer money. Eg, I pay you naira and you transfer pound to my account. If that money you transfer has a trace of magomago, they will close all the associated accounts including mine.
That was what made my paddy stop transfer business in the UK. Someone sent money to his business account. He paid the person in naira. Weeks later his accounts with the bank were closed. The banks expected him as a normal fraudulent naija man to run. But rather he took them to court. It took time but he won the case. Took his money and closed his accounts.
As you said, all this kidnapping, stealing by gov officials and so many vices will be greatly reduced if this is successfully implemented.
