They should come over here in Zurich, at the headquarters of Credit Swiss and UBS. And in Lichtenstein as well. That's where 9ja money at....

PoliticsRe: Enugu PDP Legislators To ‘Dump’ Party For APC by Nightshift(m): 5:06pm On May 01, 2013
Those that know the history of the state understand that it's a state build on what i call Onohism. It means one Wawaland for all, where anything political from outside is viewed with deep scepticism and suspicion. There are few political savvy people in Igboland than Enugu people. Enugu people prefer leading than being led, especially by an outside political block. One must not be shocked if Enugu state remains the only state in Igboland that will not succumb to a new monied political party. Even PDP in Enugu is structurally different from the one in Abia or Eboyi states.
PoliticsRe: Enugu PDP Legislators To ‘Dump’ Party For APC by Nightshift(m): 4:42pm On May 01, 2013
I hope those hells aren't going to disturb the relative peace in the Coal city state with a new brand of Nigeria's gangster politics. PDP or not, Enugu people are very conservative when it comes to politics; they don't change their wrapper anyhow. We need to build on the foundation laid by the current governor. I believe it's the best way to go, if we are serious about sustaining the current programmes.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Real Madrid V Dortmund - UCL (2 - 0) On 30th April 2013 by Nightshift(m): 9:42pm On Apr 30, 2013
My prediction this afternoon has happened! Not a fan of Madrid, but thanks for the extra €60. Time for a cold Württembergische beer. Prost!!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Real Madrid V Dortmund - UCL (2 - 0) On 30th April 2013 by Nightshift(m): 2:41pm On Apr 30, 2013
My guts tell me to stake €100 on a bet that Madrid will win the match. I don't see Real playing a draw with BVB. Doesn't pay much, just 1.60. Extra €60 for weekend dinner in my favourite Italian restaurant. Madrid 2, BVB 0
FoodRe: Blackberry Bread For Sale In Lagos (PHOTO) by Nightshift(m): 2:22pm On Apr 30, 2013
Lagos breads are tasteless sha. I miss 'Ejidike Bread' 'Our Lady's Bread( from Enugu-Ukwu and Onitsha), 'Gladys Bread and 'New Mention Bread'( both from Enyimba city). Ever seen thousands of Lagos people waiting for breads at Shoprite? That's the one comparable to those iconic breads i mentioned. Benin-City is another place to buy very tasty breads as well. Agege, Agege.... Na bread?
RomanceRe: Farting In Front Of Your Partner. by Nightshift(m): 2:08pm On Apr 30, 2013
It depends on people's culture. In Igboland, it's not ok, especially after some hours of having enjoyed pouded-yam with ofe onugbu cooked with stockfish. Whereas in Germany, after farting, your partner will say 'Gesundheit'(meaning 'good health to you'). Anyway, you can't always beat nature, no matter how you try to control not letting one 'off'. Have you ever imagined why older people release the 'bomb' often than young people?
PoliticsRe: Controversial N4.5billion Yatch Hotel Disappears From Lagos. by Nightshift(m): 1:42pm On Apr 30, 2013
Nigeria's wonder, wonderment!! Perhaps it was towed to the Atlantic by Lagos infamous 25 billion mosquitoes? After the cement armada of early 80s, this will be another big story.
PoliticsRe: The Dirtiness That "Is" Nigeria by Nightshift(m): 11:49pm On Apr 28, 2013
My eyes are filled with tears as i watch these photos. One may ask why? These photos were taken in streets i knew very well, but can hardly connect with now. From Asa Road to Aba-Owerri Road, Aba Railway Station, the various Over-rails to Eziukwu Road; all those streets were wide, clean, with underground drainage in the 80s, due to Mbakwe's selfless service to the people of then Imo state. Enyimba City has gone to the dogs because no one could continue from where the man who brought so much love to the City stopped. These photos are telling stories 1 million words cannot tell. The politicians in Nigeria have wasted our heritage, and it seems we don't know how to tell them that enough is enough. I still have some hope though - the beautiful smiles of Enyimba people will return. It has resilient people...
PoliticsRe: Banning Of Daytime Movement Of Fuel Tankers And Trailers In Nigeria Campaign! by Nightshift(m): 1:27pm On Apr 28, 2013
The federal government must not delay in putting to an end the carnage caused on our roads by truck and tanker drivers. The influx of technically questionable Chinese trucks have equally worsened the accident situations on Nigerian Highways. Let them ply the roads from 7pm to 6am only.
PoliticsRe: Okorocha Leaves UK Hospital For Israel by Nightshift(m): 11:38am On Apr 28, 2013
Okorocha's head could be like that of Kabaka isi ehi; i only hate hearing people compare him with the late Sam Onunaka Mbakwe(the best state governor ever in South East Nigeria).
PoliticsRe: Anambra, Cross River Best In EU 9th EDF by Nightshift(m): 12:16am On Apr 27, 2013
I know this thread is from Nwa Aguata, Chino. Gov. Obi should lay a foundation for Anambra to act as a catalyst for Igboland development, just as the state of Bavaria did for Germany after the second world war. I would love to see Anambra take off industrially, with a new state-of-the-art Oba Airport bringing investors in and out of the state. What really happened to that proposed airport? I witnessed the initial launching at Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium in Enugu, as far back as 1991. Where did all the money received in that maiden launching go?
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Got $3.15 Million To Free French Hostages- PREMIUM TIMES by Nightshift(m): 11:50pm On Apr 26, 2013
Just as Mexico is a narco state, Nigeria is gradually turning to most lucrative kidnapping state in the world! Anybody who think the menace will stop soon is naive. Historically, evil trives in Nigeria longer than we admit. Boko Haram will creat more military millionaires than Babangida and Abacha regimes combined, thanks to trillion Naira security budget. It could dwarf the subsidy trillions!!
PoliticsRe: Shameful Look Of Street In Over Hyped Lagos State by Nightshift(m): 11:23pm On Apr 26, 2013
With over $50 billion in GDP, Lagos can do better than having a few asphalt streets. Nigerians must say no to corruption!!
EducationRe: Nigeria To Create Six ‘mega Universities’ by Nightshift(m): 9:24am On Apr 26, 2013
Another ego massaging tag for Nigerians - in the 70s it was my Mercedes is bigger than yours; now, it would be i'm studying in a mega university!! Do we really need more class warfare in this country?
PoliticsRe: Dire Consequences In Niger-Delta If Jonathan Is Not Re-elected - Presidency by Nightshift(m): 9:21pm On Apr 25, 2013
Someone is trying to pull a fast one on Nigerians. Does it mean a president for life - an Eyadema for Nigeria?
Could be time to say unto your tent oh Israel.... Signs for a nasty scenario is unfolding in Nigeria.

Freiburger: Oh yes, we will be shining at the 2013/2014 UEFA cup.
The boys have been good this season. Their loosing two matches to VFB Stuttgart in 2 weeks pained me sha. Anyway, i hope they make it along with Borussia Mönchengladbach in Europa League next year.

Borussia Dortmund's archenemy Schalke 04, have sent their congratulations to Signa Iduna Stadium.

Ruhrpott will be full of fun tonight - free beer and wet blondes in Dortmund, Cologne and Düsseldorf.
CultureRe: The Marvelous Culture Of The Igbos And Igboland by Nightshift(m):
Some ill-informed Ndigbo believe that the so-called Eze were powerful. Real power in old Igbo communities were in the hands of the chief priests of powerful village shrines. Those priests were so powerful and dreaded by even the rich. The chief priests shaped the Omenala(culture) of each Igbo community, often with far-reaching consequences.
CultureRe: The Marvelous Culture Of The Igbos And Igboland by Nightshift(m): 10:42pm On Apr 23, 2013
Omenani(Omenala) Ndigbo is varied just like the various dialects in Igboland. It's the misunderstanding or failure to recognise those varieties that fuels the culture of disunity in Igboland.

Fynestboi: sharp guy
If they play a draw i lose my money. Though after analysing the teams, it's difficult for a match between such teams with goal machines to end in a draw
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Bayern Munich Vs Barcelona: UCL (4 - 0) On 23rd Of April 2013 by Nightshift(m): 6:52pm On Apr 23, 2013
I split €70 on bet on both teams. I'll be enjoying my Bavarian beer while hoping to make some cash off the two teams. Let the best side win....
PoliticsRe: The Economics Of Shoprite In Abia by Nightshift(m): 6:30pm On Apr 23, 2013
Enyimba City in particular had top of the end supermarkets in the 80s/90s at Umungasi and Brass Street districts. Aba people love shopping and Shoprite will be patronized heavily if one is located there.
RomanceRe: Gold Digging Men: The New Trend In Nigeria by Nightshift(m): 10:36am On Apr 23, 2013
It's like another version of "Nigerian Prince"(apology to Jay Leno), aka 419. Ladies beware, hash economy is making Nigerian men find innovative ways of fleecing unsuspecting ladies off their hard-earned money. On the other hand, it's difficult not to become a victim if you're desperate for marriage.
PoliticsRe: Kidnapped Lagos Council Chairman Relives Ordeal by Nightshift(m): 11:12am On Apr 22, 2013
If only more and more corrupt Nigerian politicians are kidnapped, Nigeria's future will be better. It's like delivering social justice.... The thieving political class have destroyed the lives of millions of Nigerians. It's time to fight back by all means!
