MMotimo:Preach it madam ![]() This is another twist ke, something good might come out of this ooo. ![]() |
Naija ooo I have laughed so hard reading comments To get help wahala you will be tagged as a scammer To help others nko another wahala you will be looked at as a potential scammer/ritualist/ robber To use your own money buy what you need double wahala you might also get scammed Which way naija. ![]() |
grasiouso:Na wa ooo, I would have thought he would foot you guys travel expenses since he was coming to see your parents for marriage, he also made you share transport fare to go visit your own people ![]() I guess you have to stop talking about some things you do without discussing initially with him because all what you have posted are very trivial issues infact nom issues at all. These are things normal couples just mention to each other and hardly elicits any negative reaction. Did he think you kept the difference in the sienna/saloon car tfare for yourself or what. Men that are petty are really difficult to deal with So you cannot do chochocho with your husband in peace again. I used work with one very petty guy like that in my place of work very frustrating experience, I almost turned him to a prayer point despite the fact he was not my boss we were just in the same team oo, going to work was becoming a daily night mare and I have said it time without number that whoever marries him is in for a deep shit, I can't imagine a friend of mine marrying him Someone we just see few hours in a days frustrating me and others to that extent I can't imagine what living with him will be like. The most annoying part is people like that don't see anything wrong in what they are doing. |
Iyatola has he paid ( or at least started paying ) back? |
One of the reasons why peeps don't recommend live in in-laws. Its because of chochocho like this. |
Odiriance4all:Loool, But you will admit that the Togolese and beninoise artisans do a better bricklaying/tiling jobs than a lot of our Nigerian counterparts. I always wondered why our own artisans are very poor at finishing, to set block wahala tiles nko bad finishing. If I am building a property I would recommend the engineer on my site to hire the Togo and Benin boys as bricklayers rather than a lot of our people. They are good at their handwork, its not their fault that some of our artisans do their jobs anyhow. |
Culin:Lool in all honesty I dont think its even about activity at all, its more of time and chance. The few I am aware of even myself never set out looking for a partner on NL it was mostly business transactions that turned to meeting much later and something came out of it. Best wishes sis |
Culin:Dont worry sis, if you are meant to meet the one on nairaland you most definitely will. People are meeting and getting married very well on nairaland, most don't even open a thread about it. Business transactions involving millions are being done by people who met on nairaland, some peoples major customer base was gotten from nairaland, some deep circle of friendships have happened on nairaland. I did meet my husband via nairaland, he was rendering a service, contacted him , we met much later and led to marriage that has produced beautiful children. My husband has lots of clients that he met on nairaland in fact most of them are/ were nairalanders. I have a circle of friends that we met on nairaland, males and females as a group about 8 of us one is not even a Nigerian. The Job that God used to elevate me to the current job I am doing now was gotten via nairaland, all the interviews I ever attended during my job hunting days I got the tips from nairaland because somebody somewhere will surely open a thread about it and the discussion will begin. Some nairalanders are cashing out big time. This platform has changed the lives of some people, some learnt the business they currently survive on from here. The funniest part is the people that gain the most of this forum are not really the shouting ones. |
aieromon:Okay thanks will show my hubby this. |
poiunt:@bolded oh really?? Its okay to disagree though. |
Hello guys, please the power steering fluid in Nissan xterra 2002( I think its 2002) is leaking. We actually don't see it drop on the floor but its like the vehicle is over sucking it up or something this started like 2 weeks back and it has never been like that, after I take it out the thing drops drastically not more than 35 minutes drive in total. Hubby called one mech to check it out I think he came tightened the hoses attached to the while container holding the fluid and he has come like 3 times now and the thing still go downs fast after a short journey. I think he has used about 2 containers of the oil within a this 2 weeks. I was trying to reverse at the market like a week back and the steering was strong, one agbero now told me that they should check the oil so that something rack wouldn't spoil, I told hubby the mech came did some things and everything seemed okay the steering is now normal but the oil still zaps quickly . Yesterday made it the 3rd time the stuff will drain from max to minimum after a drive.I drive it 98% of the time. He has said he will look for another person. Please any idea what could be wrong? |
Op the poster of particular thread you made reference to didn't bash poor people( maybe some of the comments did bash poor people) but you are right that poor people are being bashed everywhere. Some seem to think they have it all figured out but you see life can be very funny. They can't seem to grasp why this person/ friend has not gotten to a particular level in life, they can't understand that things might just go haywire at some point irrespective of how financially secure the person thinks he/she is. Some are born in poverty and they live and might die in poverty. Some are born in wealth, they will live in wealth and end up dying poor. Some born in poverty will end up in wealth. Some born into wealth will live in wealth and even leave wealth for their grandchildren to inherit. Life will teach some people. Nobody wants to be poor, no one plans to be poor but the poor will always be among us and these are things some people will never understand. |
dalass:You don't know the true story What if its the Dad that collected her from the mum at as a baby and told all his relatives never to tell her about their whereabouts. The Dad seems to be the one hiding her not the mum hiding from them. He locked them indoors (especially her) during the few times they went to his village. His relatives don't want to say pim about the issue. He doesn't even want to tell her anything about the mum whether she is dead or alive. He paid her mothers dowry at somepoint These are signs its the dad and stepmum preventing their meeting. People that can go as far as putting the stepmums name as her true mum on birth cert. Some people can be very wicked and can go to any length. |
1StopRudeness:This is also very very possible |
My own is whatever you do don't let the devil push you to misbehave which will give your brother the perfect excuse not to settle you. It seems thats the aim of the 3 women in the house. 8years is enough for settlement now let him settle you and you have your own business. As for all this their chochocho and wahala ignore them, your eyes is on the prize ( settlement) you can begin to talk to your bro about it abi the never reach to settle after 8 years? |
dljbd1:I don't get it, does the surname have a bad meaning. I am beginning to notice lots of families bearing their fathers name and the family surname as surname e.g Joshua mike-bamiloye and personally I don't fancy it, its still a bit better though because the family name is attached, now imagine if the person I stated bears Joshua Mike as your wife wants to what then happens to the family name. Before got married if I see anyone bearing my surname, I know we must be related, my grandfather left the family name and his children began to bear his name as surname now when I am asked which family I am from I don't mention my maiden surname I mention the original surname of the family. I am from S family and they understand immediately but if I tell them my grandfather's name they begin to look confused. Lastlast I left both of them sha besides I don't like their meanings. |
I don't get why you left the job because you are pregnant, were you having severe morning sickness and couldn't continue or you were pressured to because you are pregnant. Just try to get something doing. It is well oo |
Organicist95:So sorry sis. |
Organicist95:This is so painful. She was celebrated all over and her life just cut short, her family, friends and her colleagues will be in great pain. Chai even me that don't know her from anywhere apart from the internet I am so shocked , cut down at her prime. I can't imagine the pains her parents are passing through. I just hope there's nothing more to the accident. |
MrReeseG:The one with cracked screen? |

nanauju:Does it use simcard?? |

Deaconess in MFM? I don't believe the story |
ifiokbenzy:Thank you. I think the bolded was where I got it wrong, I just chopped of a layer maybe only the tip sef. I did perboil before putting it at the bottom of the pot then I placed the ekpang layers on it. Not being able to suck the periwinkle pained me oo lool |
pocohantas:Ikokore is basically the same difference is wrapping of the leaf you can also add orishirishi too. I used ugu leaf, I looked for the bunch with large leaves. Lool okaay, the sucking was beginning to look like a punishment and the annoying part was I just couldn't let go I wanted to see the end all the periwinkles. ![]() |
So I decided to make ekpankukwo. We have another version of it in my home town - Ikokore which I do prepare well, major difference is the wrapping with leaf The story is it was delicious . Pocohantas I followed your receipe it came out niceeee. ![]() Does anybody have any hint on how to suck that periwinkle? I got the ones still in the shell, the woman that sold it told me to break the pointed end, the thing inside still wouldn't come out while eating.
|
Peculiar123456:Ahh pls dont I wanted to make enquiry about getting their products back then. My enquiry was not job related. |
Funmilehot:Say what ![]() |
One thing I do know is I will never wish even my worst enemy to be in that situation. Theory is always different from practical, its easier to say this and that but in reality its not always so. I don't even understand how she will be the breadwinner ( working full time) and caring for the husband fulltime. And this thread is going haywire again...... |
