Tinubu has been screwed big time.
Why does everyone feel Lawan and Ndume are Tinubu's candidates?... Where do all these ideas come from?
Politics › Re: 51 Senators Absent As 57 Senators Elect Saraki As President by obailala(m): 11:34am On Jun 09, 2015
Nigeria sef!

Now that explains why Saraki was blabbing his oath so fast before the remaining senators would arrive grin
Politics › Re: Saraki Is A Traitor by obailala(m): 11:33am On Jun 09, 2015
Why do people think the North eastern man Lawan is a candidate of Tinubu?...

It seems like the only place these remnants of the scattered TANoids and Jonathanians find succour is in opposing and fighting Tinubu. Wherever they hear the word Tinubu, they get excited.

phew!
Saraki just won... Seems like Buhari stepped in and urged the other guy to step down cos Saraki was unopposed.
Politics › Re: National Assembly Inauguration ‘Not Postponed’ - TheCable by obailala(m): 10:45am On Jun 09, 2015
Could it be that Buhari stepped in and urged Ahmed Lawan to step down?... How come Saraki was unopposed?
Politics › Re: Inauguration of 8th National Assembly postponed - Vanguard by obailala(m): 10:29am On Jun 09, 2015
baralatie:
and the president can stop its inaugauration?
or A party can stop the inaugation of the second arm of govt in a democracy!
habbbbaaaaa!
Why do you think it is the president that stopped it?... From my understanding, the ruling party did. Remember the ruling party has a majority of the legislators and when I say the 'ruling party' I also refer to the elected legislators and not just executives. This isn't a new thing in a democracy, it's also not peculiar to Nigeria.

Lest we forget in a hurry, when the last government of PDP wanted to settle a similar crisis in the NASS, they resorted to using thugs recruited from the Niigerian Police Force to tear-gas elected members of the NASS. I have just cited this example for you to compare and contrast. DO not also forget that since the new assembly hasn't been inaugurated, it has no leaders and it has no structure. SO who do you think is responsible for ensuring orderliness in such circumstances?

From this comment, SS do you guys now know your true enemies.
..And what exactly are you talking about?.. That the country must breakup because an incompetent leader lost an election?... Is that a sensible reason to breakup?....

Assuming the country breaks up today and the SS and SE go away together, would you vote for GEJ as president of the new country?

Can someone pls give me some logical reasons why the bring back our girls campaign suddenly goes extinct!
Is it that this campaign was targeted at a particular government or does it mean that the girls can now rot in hell?....where is oby and her group?
Nigeria can never grow with this level of HYPOCRICY! angry cry lipsrsealed undecided
Any discerning human with common sense knows the campaign was aimed at GEJ to kick him out of his nonchalant attitude. Now the nonchalant man is gone, it only makes sense to patiently wait and see what the new leader would do before any campaigns are resumed. This is all common sense and has nothing to do with hypocrisy (except you do not know the meaning of the word itself). Besides, the mess was created by GEJ due to his nonchalance, why would you expect GEJ's replacement to be fried for GEJ's indiscretions even when he has barely taken over the government?

Lol...transfer of hate? In my book, u can only hate or love someone u have personal dealings with. I, probably more than any other person, wish for our country to become great and prosperous like she can and should be. I'm calling facts as I see them cos like it or not, the hype and derision for the recently past govt made Nigerians naturally expect way more. From March 30 at least till date, he knew he was going to be President and APC knew they were taking over Federal power but they haven't set some fundamental issues straight. That my dear, sends wrong signals naturally and has nothing to do with hatred.
The new national assembly would properly kick off this week. Without the NASS, the new president can't appoint ministers. Without his ministers, the president can hardly do anything. I know a lot of anti-Buharist are anxiously waiting to tear him and his government apart. Unknown to most of you, you are subtly wishing for him to fail with all these your premature vituperations so you can happily say things like, "we told you." But now is definitely not the time; it is too early to start criticising and tearing apart. A little patience please!
Politics › Re: Buhari Not At G7 Meeting - Real Pictures/video From The Event Yesterday by obailala(m): 12:42pm On Jun 08, 2015
Ikengawo:
not doubting the man is in germany for the event. but he's definitely not at the meeting. Perhaps he's in the G7 tourist task force, but the G7 meeting isn't anything the nigerian media can wax one way without evidence of claims the way the do things in Nigeria. Buhari is not at the meeting, he's visiting Germany during the event and this is why he was greeted by the Governor of Bavaria upon arrival and not the Head of State
Is this the kind of opposition we shall be getting for the next 4 years?... Even a JSS 1 pupil knows Nigeria isn't a member of the G7 even though our presidents (since OBJ days) have always been invited for the meetings. Buhari, just like several other non-G7 president present in Germany today were invited to the gathering of several other presidents to discuss pertinent issues.

So I ask again, what is the meaning and the essence of this thread?... Are you even okay?... Don't you feel ashamed as an adult when you open such silly threads to make such silly claims?... Is this what opposition is all about?... If this was the kind of senseless opposition practised by APC, do you think they would have been victorious in 100 years?

If you are on corrective medications, when last did you take your drugs?

My friend go and educate those tribal E-goats that open senseless threads about Igbos before coming here to lecture me,
When you stoop to the same level of the people you criticise and do exactly what they do (even though you claim it's in response), what makes you think you are any better than they are?... Have you ever heard of the word 'ignore'?... Someone has got to be the bigger man. Please, please and please, kindly ignore the senseless threads you think are offensive and you will gradually see those threads dissappear. What did you mean by " Problem of Southeast" and please can you point where I wrote that?
I personally think the OP raised some pertinent issues which are worthy of consideration. We really need to hold our leaders and representatives more accountable if we must see more development in the SE. Even though you did not write it in black and white, your first comment on this thread implies a clear and needless resentment for the Yorubas as if to say they are responsible for the problems of the southeast.
Politics › Re: The South East Problem by obailala(m): 5:29pm On Jun 07, 2015
@FKO81,

Why do you think the Yorubas are the problem of the southeast?
Politics › Re: The South East Problem by obailala(m):
kettykin:
The south East does not have any problem the problem is rather with the skewed federalism practiced in Nigeria. The economic predatorship that south west have in mind to practice on the rest of the country but have a stumbling block on very high skilled igbo business men whose business logic has defied all under ground permuattions, sabotage, scorch earth policies piloted by false patriots in the North and south west and the ungodly human tsunami perpetrated by the North against the middlebelt with middle belt leaders preferring rather to channel their aggressions on Biafra and Ojukwu than confront their terrors .
When would Igbos stop this needless paranoia?... When would Igbos just for once understand that the southwest was never, isn't and will never be our major problem?... We really need to stop this paranoid reasoning of thinking the southwest is our problem; that is not true at all. Bad leadership is the only reason why we havent attained much more than we ought to.

The economic predatorship which you talk about is suffered by every single ethnic group, tribe and geographical region, and the real culprits are the evil leaders we've always been unfortunate to have at both the national and regional level. Just imagine a person like T.A Orji representing Igbos in Abuja and you really still think our biggest problem in the southeast are the Yorubas?

We really need to stop this senseless and retrogressive rivalry with the southwest. This wasn't the kind of healthy rivalry the western and eastern regions practiced pre-civil war era which led to rapid development in both regions. We need to wake up from this silly slumber.

This woman should be sentenced to life in prison. With the way the system is configured in the UK, the lives of several innocent men have been irreversibly ruined by silly allegations like this. Even when it it discovered that the lady was lying, the damage in the lives of the men can never be reversed. This lady and every other lady involved in this diabolic act should be severely punished.
