Mr Ayedee is just a smooth talker with a nice accent re-echoing the same old fables we have always been told by Jonathan and his people while Kayode unfortunately sounded like the typical Nairaland political e-thugs delivering one of those online gutter fights.
Now to the main contents of their discussions, under the veil of the nice accent and smooth talk of Ayedee, all he said are just the same old deceitful ramblings of imaginary achievements which dubious and uninformed people have continually peddled to paint Goodluck as a messiah who should be worshipped.
Firstly, I think the Goodluck handlers are very adept at sophistry, how else can Mr Ayedee or anyone else explain to me that Jonathan has done exceptionally well with the economy?... Prof Soludo trashed the so called voodoo economics which GEJ handlers have been feeding Nigerians with and I am yet to see anyone who disputes the hard figures quoted by Soludo. Both Mr Ayedee and FFK tried to give a response to the Prof's write-up but they only ended up attacking the personality of the messenger even as they questioned his motives.
They tell the gullible that GEJ has made Nigeria the biggest economy in Africa, albeit through a rebase (recalculation) but I just marvel at this clever deceit. A lot of Nigerians are celebrating this as GEJ's achievement because they have no idea what a rebase is.
Then again, someone tells me GEJ made Nigeria's GDP growth rate the 3rd fastest in the world and I ask, "if Jonathan is celebrated for maintaining Nigeria's GDP growth at an average range of 5-7%, I suppose we should kill ourselves for OBJ who grew our GDP growth rate from 0% to this average range?.. To correct the grand misconception which the Jonathanians capitalize on to deceive the teeming population of uninformed and information hungry Nigerians, we were able to surpass countries like Brazil and Russia in the GDP growth race not necessarily because we moved faster but rather because those countries slowed down and fell off the charts. Nigerians really need to be told the truth.
A leadership which experiences a mega oil boom for 5 years and the only effect we get are a monumental drop in our foreign reserves, astronomic increase in external debts and instant austerity measures at the very second the world oil prices drop, is this what a reasonable person calls exceptional economic achievements especially at a time of unprecedented oil boom?... Oh! lest I forget, we got some refurbished 1970 trains in return for the gaping hole in our foreign reserves, Halleluia! |

In their desperation, these PDP people keep making a fool of themselves trying to dig up dirt where there's none.
A man applied to join the military and submitted his credentials. 53 years later he is asked and he says (swears) the military has his documents. The military comes out to say they no longer have these credentials.
How does this story taint the integrity of the man?... This is more like an indictment of the Nigerian Army and not Buhari.
Continually searching for filth in Buhari's integrity is like searching for dirt in distilled water. My advise to PDP is to stick with their islamization / old man silly propaganda. |

Moreover, that was in Literature studies, not a relatively more intellectually tasking discipline such as Law. In contrast, Yemi is a much younger person compared to Wole and Achebe, and all his peers who are professors have PhDs. Can you mention any Nigerian professor of Yemi's age without a PhD? Akshow: first and foremost, gej visited several APC States and was not stoned. Katsina and Bauchi are PDP states under PDP governments.
If anything happens to gej (God forbid) nothing u and ur kinds will do. Nigeria will be ruled by an efficient and capable leader that will put u in ur place, not like ur mumu kinsman that has failed woefully in curbing insurgents.
As for Nigeria being a property of hausas and Yorubas. Who clamoured and protested for the clueless fisherman to be sworn in when Turai was busy playing ping pong with him? Wole Soyinka led d protest. Where were d asaris and tompolos?
If not that u are shallow and an ingrate....didn't the yorubas vote enmass for d otuoke baboon in d last election? indeed even some Hausa voted for him.
so in ur silly and myopic reasoning, because he is a Niger deltan is enough reason to make him continue ruling even when all indices points to the fact that he is incapable and just riding on d good luck that put him to power. The sick mentality of these die-hard Jonathan supporters angers me. Sometimes I wonder whether they are actually humans or some sort of sub-human homo-habilis or homo-erectus whenever I hear such silly arguments. Someone has been allowed to rule for 5 years, a period in which he failed woefully and brought shame to the entire southern Nigeria, yet some idiotss still protest that he MUST be allowed to rule for 9 years (election victory or not) before they accept that he has been allowed to rule. Meanwhile these same idiots insulting the rest of Nigeria for ganging up against Jonathan have quickly forgotten that it was the same set of individuals calling for a removal of Jonathan today that actually protested under the sun and in the rain to make Jonathan president. |

Where i have a problem however is when a president begins to divert attention from his profligacy and put the blame on a state governor. During the days of OBj, the governors pressured him to share the money but he refused. Same happened for Yaradua and he refused bluntly to squander the reserves. Fast forward to 2010 after the death of Yaradua, GEJ quickly blows the vault open to appease the voracious governors in exchange for their support in his 2011 ambition. Fastforward again to 2015, Jonathan and his crew now want to put the blame of their indiscretion on Amaechi. What nonsense! I only mentioned OBJ's name because several people keep calling him out as a devil who didnt do a single thing and these same people keep praising Jonathan for performing 100times more than OBj. But this is a bloody lie from the pit of hell. My point is simple, i am not disputing the fact that gej completed these projects, where i have a problem is when people compare jonathan to obj and claim gej is a god while obj is a devil who didnt do a thing. sammhi: I disagree sir...Soludo is entitled to his opinions and they are not necessarily sacrosanct....if Nigeria being biggest economy is not due to GEJ it is due to who? SOLUDO or you ? please lets stop sentiments... lets reverse this : if the economy has been said to be the last in Africa. ...You would have celebrated that and hung GEJ on it ..wont you? head or tail , from you and your GEJ hater , he loses.! your disdain for GEJ is appalling and makes neutrals like us to side him and dispels these hatred clouding your reasoning talk is cheap...and to critics is easy ....he was CBN governor and we know the mess he left the banks before sanusi came on board one thing is clear: what comes around goes around...GEJ may not be perfect but far still better than the one still searching if he had waec cert or not ..only in naija..enough of the hatred Soludo gave you facts and figures which are plain and simple and can be viewed by anyone from the office of the national bureau of statistics. It is pitiable that Nigerians have these raw figures at their disposal yet they choose to ignore the figures and judge based on sentiments and empty words of people like FFK. As far as i am concerned, the NBS is not controlled by soludo or APC. It is really disheartening that nigerians see black and call it white because they think everything must be politics. You say I hate GEJ but i do not hate the man. I only hate the fact that after we all supported him in 2011 as a messiah, he has been a monumental failure... i even hate his administration more because of the devilish lies and deciet that nigerians have been fed with over the years concerning his achievements. Thirdly i hate the fact that because of Jonathan, Nigerians have jettisoned common sense and decided to think with sentiments. A typical example of what I'm saying is your present arguments. The facts and figures are not hidden, even FFK tactically avoided disputing the figures Soludo mentioned but just listen to yourself... Again, i do not understand when Nigerians will ever be focused and face issues instead of attacking personalities. You have just castigated soludo based on his performance as cbn gov.. for crying out loud, what does that have to do with the issue we are discussing?... Lastly on the matter of biggest economy in africa, i am sorry to say this but it is only ignorant people that would celebrate that as an achievement of jonathan. That i decide to count how much i have in my account today (rebase) does not in any way mean that i made the money in the account today. The telecommunication industry boom was the main economic factor that was quoted as boosting the nigerian economy to soar above SA. We all know when the telecoms boom came to nigeria yet we insult obj as a good for nothing baboon who did nothing for Nigeria and we go around to celebrate GEJ who only did the counting. youngalex: I must commend Prof.Charles Soludo for such an exceptional epistle,i beg to differ in his submission on his overall assessment of the regime of Pres.GEJ,significant milestones were recorded in areas of agriculture, power and road construction and to say that the economic team is weak is quite degrading....The present economic team is and will remain the greatest convergence of great minds and achievers in various fields of endeavour. What the professor did not tell us; 1) It was in the same regime he served that over 2 trillion Naira was spent on power without any considerable improvement Are you aware that GEJ did not start ANY SINGLE power project?... Every single power project which you hail GEJ for commisioning is a part of that same 2 trillion which OBJ spent.
2) The Benin-Ore road was for close to a decade the worst nightmare for travellers Contracts for the Benin -Ore road were awarded in OBJ's tenure and yes, some portions were fixed. But unlike GEJ, OBJ did not jump around to the media to celebrate the completion of a tiny portion of the road that was fixed like GEJ and his supporters are doing presently. For the past 10 years, works have been ongoing on that road and the works have still not been completed as we speak; Yes!.. there are still many sections of the same Benin-Ore road which are a nightmare to pass so I don't understand the basis of this grand deceit and celebrations that Goodluck fixed the road
3) Millions of dollars were spent on TAM(Turn Around Maintenance) of Refineries without any justification for a satisfactory work done The same TAM you talk of in OBJ's time, that is the reason why the refineries we have in Nigeria today are functioning, albeit at a fraction of their capacities because successive administrations did not follow up. Jonathan has not spent any money on those refineries (proof me wrong). I just cannot understaand the grand deceit being sold out to Nigerians by the Jonathan team that OBJ was a devil and GEJ is a god. Most of the things working in the country today in GEJ's regime were things initiated and funded since OBJ's regime. This is inclusive of the reforms in the agric sector which was started by OBJ, it also includes the Abuja to Kaduna world class standard rail which has just been completed under Jonathan; Yes! it was started by OBJ and the contract was signed by OBJ.
4) Elections were manipulated and massive electoral fraud committed to favour the anointed candidate of the then president. A typical insight into the kind of elections we are currently having and that we would have under Jonathan is the governor's forum election where Nigerians were told openly that 16 is greater than 19. Forget about the 2011 elections, in that exercise, it was going to be a clear win for Jonathan because he enjoyed massive goodwill from Nigerians all over hence that election cannot really be used as a yardstick to measure GEJ's performance at conducting elections. February elections will expose the true colours of GEJ in conducting elections.
5) Huge funds were disbursed for the third term agenda which was truncated by our distinguished parliamentariansYou talk of the huge funds spent by OBJ to secure a third term, have you ever asked yourelf what happened to the entire excess crude account which OBJ saved for the future generation?.... Yes your god Jonathan in 2010 squandered the billions of dollars in that account down to zero all in a bid to bribe the governors to support his election ambition in 2011. GEJ is also plundering our foreign reserves in his careless desperation to cling to power beyond 2015. Do you really think it is normal that no major capital projects are ongoing yet our foreign reserve keeps falling at an unbelievable speed?
The List is Endless.... $150m halliburton scandal,Privatization Scandal,National I.D Card Scam,Oil revenue diversion by the then minister of pertoleum and incumbent president(Now APC Saint) Let us not even talk about the biggest government fraud on the planet; the unremitted $50billion by NNPC which after frantic efforts following the whistle blown by the then CBN governor, he lost his job and up till date, the entire apparatus of government cannot still account for over $10billion of this funds ..you can add yours Obviously the amount of money stolen in the last 5 years of Jonathan's reign is more than the cumulative amounts of money lost by Nigeria to corruption from 1979 till 2010. Remember, in the last 5 years of Jonathan, Nigeria has experienced unprecedented oil boom and continuous budget surpluses. Yet the only effect is that Nigeria became the only country in the world where there are more private jets (over 150) than commercial passenger planes (less than 60 altogether). Not a single kobo added to our foreign reserves, instead we get massive dwindling of the reserves and astronomically rising national debts; all these at a time when the nation enjoys unprecedented oil boom. These facts are clear for all to see yet whenever any concerned person raises the issue, he is foolishly labelled 'opposition.' It is really disgusting that with all the facts flying around, some individuals still try to preach that GEJ is a good president. Please an advice to you irredeemable Jonathanians is for you guys to stick with your campaigns of calumny against Buhari by calling him names like islamist or illiterate or and old man. Just like Soludo said, there is no point trying to advertise achievements of Jonathan in your campaign because those so called achievements are all false. |

ABUJA- PRESIDENTIAL Campaign Organisation, PCO of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Monday described former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Professor Charles Soludo as a confused Nigerian and one who has lost touch with reality.
According to the Campaign Organisation, President Goodluck Jonathan will not only run next month, but would win the polls.
Responding to attack on President Goodluck Jonathan by Soludo that he should stop campaigning as he has no testimonial to parade, Director, Media and Publicity of PDP Campaign Organisation, Chief Femi Fani- Kayode in a statement to Vanguard, Monday noted that the former head of the nation’s apex bank may no longer understand what were on ground having spent much time with those in the camp of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Fani-Kayode said, “I read Charles Soludu’s contribution to the debate with amusement. I will be gentle with him because I have a soft spot for him. He has criticised the President, his government and his handling of the economy.
“Meanwhile Nigeria has just won the prestigious award of being designated as the largest economy in Africa and this has happened under the watch of President Goodluck Jonathan and no-one else. Should any right-thinking person who has the nation’s interest at heart be complaining about that? Needless to say my friend and brother Charles Soludo is confused and conflicted. He seems to have lost touch with reality and this is what often happens when you spend too much time with the Buharists.
“The truth is that Soludo is far too educated, civilised and advanced to be in the opposition. He belongs to the modern age and not the dark ages. I pray that sooner than later he comes to his senses and he sees the light. One thousand Muhammadu Buhari’s cannot match one Goodluck Jonathan in terms of tolerance, compassion, performance or output. Buhari cannot even begin to understand the complex nature of the economy or the immense problems that we are facing in this country whilst Jonathan not only understands them but is also making a gallant effort at solving them.
“I respect Charles Soludo immensely but I believe that he got it quite wrong here. He is in error and he needs to sit up, reconsider his views and review his unsavoury and disrespectful contribution.
“To say that the President should not run in this election and that he should throw in the towel is absurd and self-depreciating. It is a manifestation of the morbid fear of failure and defeat that the leaders of the opposition are all suffering from. Whether Soludo and his friends like it or not, not only will President Goodluck Jonathan run in this election, but he will also win and he will do so convincingly. ” No matter how highly placed or exposed these Jonathanians appear to be, they always continue to display embarrasing ignorance in public. Sometimes I wonder if they do this intentionally or if they are truly ignorant. With all the explanations about how the "biggest economy in Africa thingy" has nothing to do with Jonathan, these GEJites keep echoing it as an achivement of Jonathan. Even Soludo explained in his write-up how the acheivement has nothing to do with Jonathan's government yet FFK still goes about to boast of it. Finally you cant really blame FFK and his ilk because they cant really lay their hands on anything else to boast of hence they resorts to this falsehood (at least some gullible and uninformed Nigerians will be deceived by it). Regarding his response to Soludo, FFK has ended up saying absolutely nothing. He could not discount any of the facts or figures quoted by Soludo, neither did he explain why he thinks soludo is wrong. He only ended up attacking Soludo's personality and then turned around to appeal to him to join the Jonathan camp, how lame! Anyway, with his empty reply, it is beginning to seem like FFK is not really an irredeemable dolt as I originally thought. I had expected him to foolishly come up here and discount the clear figures raised by the Prof. |

The tonnes of false propaganda that have been unleashed on the people by Goodluck's propagandists is unbelievable. I was in an argument yesterday with a cousin who strongly believes that Goodluck has completed the 2nd Niger Bridge, he even showed me a picture I was so weakened by the argument because it gave me a true picture of the extent to which the gullibility of the masses at the grassroot (and those who are too lazy to inform themselves) has been exploited by politicians I have recently realised that most of the rubbish we have always heard about Buhari have turned out to be pure lies and also, most of the things we have been celebrating as achievements of Jonathan are also pure lies. Is it the US or the Arab blocks that are embezzling the Billions of dollars that have been budgetted in the last 4 years to the military to fight the insurgency?... the las time i checked it was Nigerian military chiefs and ministry of defence heads that usually retire from office with billions in their personal account... but of course the black man typically does not do an inward search; "my wicked neighbour must be responsible for my woes"
Is it the US that is squandering N10billion for the maintenance of a private jet for the petroleum minister alone while FG cannot pay civil servants?
Is it the US or the Arab blocks that forced NNPC not to remit $50 billion in oil revenue to the federation account... and now over $10billion is still unaccounted for?
Is it the US or the Arab blocks that pays militants in the Niger delta billions yearly to protect oil pipelines and yet we srarted having the highest rate of oil bunkering after these contracts were signed?
Is it the US or the arab blocks that asked a former aviation minister to make extra budgetary expenses on overinflated bullet proof cars and of course when she was exposed Im sure it was the US that asked her tribes people to defend her irrespective of the crime?
The more we continue act silly and heap all the blame on others except ourselves, we will never know progress as a race. |

I'm sure not many know that General Muhammadu Buhari is also a strong believer of the Sharia system and in the same vain, a strong believer of marrying out children to much older men.
Some will say this is a non issue, but its good we know in totality the people we are placing our affairs in their hands.
A research says that Aisha Buhari is 35 years old and got married to General Muhamadu Buhari in the year 1989 after divorcing his first wife for allegedly collecting welfare money from Babagida while he was in Prison.
Aisha Buhari was born in 1979, which means in 1989 she was barely 9/10 years old when she was married of to our dear general.
Their marriage is Blessed with 5 children and grand children. If at 35 she has grand children, I can only but ask: AT WHAT AGE WAS SHE WHEN GMB STARTED HAVING CARNAL KNOWLEDGE OF HER, JUDGING FROM THE AGE OF THEIR FIRST CHILD, MRS AISHA BUHARI WOULD HAVE BEEN NOTHING MORE THAN 12 YEARS OLD WHEN GENERAL MUHAMMADU BUHARI GOT HER PREGNANT.
I wouldn't want an army general on my 12 year old daughter though!!!!!
As for me, Jonathan is not the best we can get, but a careful and critical look at Buhari will tell us we are going back a hundred years and USMAN DAN FODIO will be smiling in his grave and mocking the entire southern Nigeria. @Op so you mean you spent your time and resources writing, analysing and arriving at all these demeaning conclusions based on assumed information?... Who told you she is 35?... does that lady look 35 to you? What's even wrong with all these Jonathanians? |

baybeeboi: Idleness must be killing this guy. When He should be drawing for money He's here obsessively darwing for nothing Myopia!.. You clearly cannot see the big picture.. Before an artist starts drawing for money, he/she needs to advertize his/her talents.. |

Those SaharaReporter guys must really have strong and loyal moles within the presidency. Just few weeks ago, they reported that Jonathan's 'surprise' visit to Borno was simply a scam to clear the way for him to return to Borno for presidential campaigns and now things seem to be playing out exactly as they reported.
Finally, Jonathan must really be a shameless and insensitive man if he really goes to Borno to campaign. |

Was the stadium built with $96 million?... Thought they told us it cost much more? |

moderatorr: Ok, but thats after you have accepted that the purported statement of result is not the certificate INEC asked for and is fake too because You don't put on caps in passports. lol... please go get yourself a bottle of chilled beer and drink away your sorrows... INEC accepted the affidavit which he originally presented. This certificate being dug up is not even for INEC use. |

babadee1: The original 1961 certificate was lost. Many people who finished school decades after Buhari have lost their original certificates. When you lose your original certificate you can apply to your school for a statement of results which will be issued on current letterhead paper according to current guidelines. The photo on the statement of results is recent because it is required by the school for a new statement of result to be issued. This statement of result was issued yesterday January 21, 2015 not in 1961.
I hope this has helped those people still confused by this recent development. These people you refer to are not actually confused. They are only feigning confusion so as to confuse unsuspecting or gullible people. Welldone for the well articulated response though. Such quick responses would ensure that no person is deceived by these PDP agents. |

Nice piece...
I was particularly troubled by the scam of the 2nd Niger Bridge. How could individuals who are supposed to be Igbo stoop to the level of circulating fake concocted pictures of a mythical bridge in order to deceive fellow Igbos to vote for Jonathan. How could anyone do that to his own people? |
Politics › Re: D Banj Replies Don Jazzy From US White House by obailala(m): 1:06pm On Jan 22, 2015 |
Firstly, I don't believe Jazzy produced the said song to ridicule Dbanj.
Secondly, I dont believe this statement by Dbanj has anything whatsoever to do with the purported song, neither is it directed at Jazzy.
