What a shame! he's too scared to even say the word let alone carry out the action |
Whats wrong with Wizkid having a crush on Gene? Justin Beiber had a Crush on Cheryl Cole, the world didnt stop breathing!!!
Most people commenting here have no idea of what the word 'crush' means. That's why wizkid's statement is so strange to them |
i keep hating Nigeria and Nigerians more and more everyday. Comments seen here are really shocking to say the least. I wouldnt sound cynical if i say No Hope is left for this country. Dino melaye exposes this corruption on the part of the Minister Pastor (indeed) Orubebe Instead of dwelling on the message sent, Supposedly hopeful Nigerians (from the comments so far) are hell bent on killing the messenger. This is typical of Everyone whoever stands out to fight for Nigerians against government insensitivity in the political scene their integrity would be attacked first by the Same Nigerians they hope to stand out for, and no mention or interest focused on the message passed. so far i have lost count. from El-Rufai, Dino Melaye, Keyamo, Falana, Obasanjo of recent times, Dele Momodu, Femi fani Kayode, SNG, Tunde Bakare etc, More painful is the fact that when you feel The ruling thieving Elite should be the ones castigating this activist, they hardly do, Its the same Low life Nigerians and suffering masses that would cast stones and invectives on the Activist standing out for them. I have seen this house in question and these pictures do not do justice to it. the value couldn't be less than N250 million perhaps with another 200million for the plot. I doubt any form of Nigerian Spring could happen because it's obviously clear that Nigerians themselves would crucify the protest leaders. Thieving politician would daily go through the comments in these social media, smiling at the encouraging comments we foolish Nigerians have for them and of course this would boost their thieving exercises.
God bless u |
Very soon someone would come and ask if it's a sin to use the internet, post on Nairaland, ride in a car, receive blood transfusion etc all because these things were not mentioned in the bible ![]() |
LocalChamp: Anti-Corruption Activist Provides Photos Of Mansion Built For Minister Orubebe In AbujaNigeria is really in deep shit with the kind of reasoning we have as a people. No wonder our leaders will continue to take us for fools. I wonder why hardly anyone has bothered to comment on the bolded part of the message or am I the only one seeing it. A serving minister receives a house GIFT from a known government contractor; I would have expected the argument on this thread to be whether this piece of information is true or false but instead what do we get "...that house is too small/trashy to be called a mansion," "...the man's salary is enough to build a house like that" "...Dino Melaye again!. . Dino used to be a crook, so he must be fighting for his pocket" "...Dino should go and take responsibility of his numerous unborn children" "...Sahara reporters will not be happy until every govt official lives in HUTS" Someone also foolishly says "my own house is even bigger than this BQ" etc. Maybe I haven't searched the thread properly but I'm not sure anyone has asked the necessary questions that should be asked or is it that nobody read the article that followed the picture?. How petty can we possibly be as a people? talking about PEOPLE when we should be talking about ISSUES. Anyway, how can you possibly blame Pst. Bakare when he said "it takes fools to be ruled by idiots" |
From the comments here so far, it's clear that most Nigerians are really sick in the head ![]() |
GEJ should tell us something we've not heard before. Nigerians know he's an absolute waste of space however he should prove us wrong by throwing just 1 person behind bars... Just 1 person please! Even if its just for 1 year. ![]() |
Just like the typical Nigerian episodes, I can bet my last dime that this letter was actually signed and presented to the Governor even before he became his deputy. It's common tradition for PDP to force aspiring deputies or ministers to sign their resignation letters in advance before they are selected/appointed. #NigerianPolitics101 |
What is really wrong if he had/has a crush on Genny? At one point in our lives, we all had a crush on one or two celebs (older or younger)... and how is that suppose to be disrespect? ![]() Why is it that whenever the names of young naija artists like wizkid, davido, ![]() |
ItsModella: .Go and ask someone like wande coal what he went through in the hands of kenny st brown recently ItsModella: .Go and ask the almighty hollywood why people like Jackie Chan, Jet Li, VAn Damme, Jason Statham etc must be very good fighters in movies Nollywood can never be hollywood and vice versa however if we must criticize, we have to be good critics |
Ikenna351: Does your Car turn heads when you drive or packed in a public place?Wow! that must be a real head turner. Someone please call 911 ![]() |
OYINBOGOJU: i doubt if there is any reasonable human being in the state......I share ur feelings... i also doubt if there's any single reasonable politician (ruling or opposition) in that state ![]() |
Default01: Seunfly why u de lie,u fit compare delta wit any state 4 southwest my guy we ar having difficulties nw bt we wold overcom.delta state in terms of healthcare has d best facilities and doctors.asaba airport is working and is a winner even b4 being commissioned.delta state hav nt even taped 1/4 of our resources,we ar buildin a new delta state 4rm d scratch lagos wont see our backs wen we hanes just 50% of our resources.god bless delta state, haters kep hatin while delta state is movingSounds like the words of a typical Deltan. A state where there is no meaningful opposition to the pdp |
Techwriter: How dare you even compare them. The Church(not him) makes it big and they are building more universities. Apart from Kanu Nwankwo and his heart foundation, how many celebrities with all the hard currency has built what others benefit from? I know you would be glad if the nite club is making more than the church. But sorry, the seed of the Righteous shall be mighty upon the earthThis is a very terrible attempt at hypocrisy. What NONSENSE! 1. Kanu Nwankwo makes billions from playing football hence he has enough money to fund a charity. 2. Flavour makes mere millions from music and being a WISE man, knows that he needs to diversify his income for sustainability. 3. I would normally not discuss or criticize churches or men of God but the so called Universities you mentioned happen to be MEGA BUSINESS VENTURES TO ACCRUE STUPENDOUS WEALTH TO THE BILLIONAIRE ORGANISATION. The UNIVERSITIES ARE NOT CHARITIES and in this case, I would simply place them in the same category as the club. They are both BUSINESSES. |
How I just love it when children of the rich strive to carve out an empire of their own from scratch without having to depend on family wealth. Very impressive! |
onatisi: the song will get more popular with time,in the process of criticizing her ,ppl will start getting used to the songI totally agree with u. First of all, the song isn't as bad as Nigerians are dramatically making it to be. The song and tonto herself just keep getting more and more popular by the day. I must confess, I'm somehow beginning to like it and mark my word, this song will feature in clubs |
^^^ Only intellectuals can separate ISSUES from PEOPLE....
Thank you very much for this statement. It is very clear from this thread and many other discussions on this site that most Nigerians are just DUMB F.UC.K.S. Imagine, over 95% of the responses here are about Dino's personality and not the real issue at hand |
ballabriggs: Nigeria is in trouble. With the way the people think, I pity the country.Nigeria is truly in big trouble. With the comments I've seen here so far, it clearly reflects the typical mindset of a Nigerian. A people born into chaos and all through their lives have dwelt in chaos to the silly point where anything with a semblance of orderliness seems ridiculous to them. God help us! |
The question rational people would ask is: Was the protest for a Good cause?? If the answer is yes, then ffuucckk who leads it!! Focus on the issue....

I don't think it matters. As long as the protest is for a Good cause, I don't care who leads it!!!
@Mr Garri please ignore them. Most Nigerians are passionate about attacking the messenger instead of the message. They mostly derive joy in attacking individual personalities instead of the main subject (fallacy argumentum ad hominem). If u follow the trend on NL closely, u should know this by now |
Nice one. It's gonna be kporokpotom kpotom kpom and piom pio pio pio pio piom all nite long for enugu peeps ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
This is a very very nice and soothing song . It's absolutely mischievous for any right thinking person to try and compare this to Tonto's thing. I really didn't expect something this good but I must say I'm impressed. Kudos to Stella |
logica: Photoshop? Did you see the broken glass on the road? And the different angles from which the pictures were taken? Ochek: Hmmm.. You know what photoshop is at all? Hey pal, a close look at that pix will tell you this ain't no photoshop. Take a look a the pool in the pictures. Them all maintain their positions. No distorts made on this pix.Guys please save ur energy. Some people would always have a warped mind no matter how hard u try to educate them ![]() |
Is it just me? but I think that baby still looks perfectly intact ![]() |

Now today must be a really good day for work. . . especially after starting with a really good laugh ![]() |
joeydozzy: God, help us with this front page menaceSo please what do u want to be on the front page?? Aluu 4, Mubi massacre, tanker explosion, flood etc. Please if those are the kind of stories u want to hear all the time, I suggest u go to Nigerian police stations, general hospitals, morgues, funerals etc. Nairaland is not meant for only sadist's please . This site is for everyone that's why u have over 60 topics on the front page to choose from. |
Hmmm.. I never knew people hated this man like this, NLanders an hating of celebrities ![]() |
Pure irresponsibility in my opinion. However, as a chief custodian of the law, u can be sure she would know exactly how to twist this same law. If this woman refuses to pay the fine, I'm still wondering under which court she can be tried? She could easily come up with a stupid argument like 'the road in which the supposed offense was committed is a federal road and as such she cannot be tried under state legislation' and of course the case would be thrown out. I trust these lawyers, its their job to see the loopholes in the law ![]() |
The man has simply stated his honest opinion and I personally think he's right. |
What sort of dumb posts am I seeing here from Nlanders? ![]() An anonymous enemy of Dino sits in front of a laptop and types rubbish and not a single person on this thread has questioned the credibility of this anonymous source ![]() |
Naija Vs UK......it's really a tough one. Based on personal experience ( I relocated from the UK about 2yrs ago ) Living in the UK : Monetary Aspect: Started off as a Graduate Engineer earning 28000/Annum ( This was relatively high as it was a multinational. Regular Engineering Grad Jobs/Coys would pay between 20 - 25K/Annum back then. After tax/month , take home = 1900 Monthly Expenses ( Accomodation/Feeding/Transport/Mobile/Land Line + Internet/TV License/Clothes/Light entertainment) = 1300 Unforseen Expenses ( Parents, siblings, etc in Naija..... This might not be applicable based on parent/family financial status = 300 Total Monthly Expense = 1600 => Savings was 300pounds ( In actual fact I dont think i ever had up to that to save per month ) General Life ( +ves and -ves ) : Same bus at same time every morning and evening containing same set of people with earphones staring at you. You start feeling like a robot after some time. Light / Internet / Phone => Constant 24/7 That 1900 monthly income stated above is CONSTANT , no additional 1Pound will never come into your account from any other source in any month. Time is money i.e You dont get to socialise a lot...many of your naija friends are on the hustle 24/7 - forget facebook pictures , na lie. After a while , if you are single you get very lonely unless you dey find oyinbo companionship. I personally did not like thier company. You are not respected in the society - I got an education to be a respectable person. You can move around at any time of the day and feel safe. You and your next door neighbour might never talk to each other. ( A woman living in a flat next to mine died and I never knew till after 6months when my Landlady told me ) Thump your feet too hard while walking around your flat / play small loud music / TV => Neighbour complains or calls Police. You eat well , smell and look fresh. You can shop for virtually everything online and have same delivered to your doorstep + ATM Never "Swallows" your card. Easy access to other European countries for holiday visits. You will never build a house , you go pay mortgage for 2bedroom flat for the rest of your life. Miracles dont happen ! Everything you earn is worked for except you wan turn criminal. PEACE OF MIND Living in Naija Monetary Aspect : If I compare my present salary to what I would have been earning in the UK now ; I would say I save reasonably but not as much as I thought I would when I made up my mind to come back home. Having lived in the UK , one ends up spending more to maintain same living standards which one has been used to back there. General Life ( +ves & -ves ): Social life is great => Friends/family close by....weddings and things on saturdays , boys get your time on Fridays , etc You need to have a generator + pay someone to switch on and off You need security dogs => dem barking no dey gree person sleep for night...dem food na die Folk wanna tax you at every instance.... u end up not picking calls from some numbers Everyday is different => u fit see okada man dey fight bus driver on your way to work today , another scenario tomorrow Some change dey enter pocket apart from salary Spacious house + compound Anything can happen ! ( deal dey show from nowhere ) You are respected in the society Food is great You can acquire land and build a house to your taste. Your must buy and maintain a solid car because of road conditions and zero transport system. NO PEACE OF MIND - BH/ALUU/POLICE/THIEF/VILLAGE PEOPLE etc Personally for me , I think of running back sometimes. Nothing beats PEACE OF MIND.
This post says it all. As a PhD holder in the field of education, Chidi wouldn't have a hard time finding a decent lecturing job in Nigeria and he would definitely earn more than £15,000p.a. With a little business by the side, he could also push up his earnings without having to get involved in sharp practices (sorting, hand-outs, blocking, upgrading/downgrading, admission racketing etc). The choice is his to make between peace of mind and career fulfillment. |
