Partially true. The George Floyd Protest did have an influence (vis-a-vis ENDSARS) but there are other reasons for Peter Obi's popularity. His different style of politics, his age, his track record, etc.
No matter anyway we look at it. I believe it is a good thing for Peter Obi as it will give him more publicity.
Peter Obi is one of the few candidates whom I am not afraid if he goes for interviews because I know he will do well. I cannot say the same for Tinubu.
I bring you an unbiased street poll organized by BantuPage in the city and villages of Kano.
Almost all respondents spoke in Hausa but I’m sure someone who doesn’t understand Hausa would still be able to pick the key responses of respondents.
Some hints: Kwankwaso reigns supreme here.
2: Nobody mentioned Tinubu which is a stark departure from the picture some APC supporters paint of Kano.
And lastly, majority of Kano voters are undecided. These are the people who leave their choice for an Imam to make for them, I believe. So, in the end, whoever the Imams end up directing them to vote will get their votes.

This is interesting. BantuPage is affiliated with APC. So for Kwankwaso to win this poll, I think its pretty interesting.
seunmsg: There will be no public endorsement. However, agreement was reached. The G-5 governors will work for Tinubu. That’s the only realistic option in front of them as there is no alternative.
Only two candidates can realistically win the election. Since Atiku is not an option for them, Tinubu is the only person they can support. Supporting Peter Obi will not make Peter Obi win and they know it. With or without G-5, Obi should win Abia, Enugu and Rivers. He’s never going to win Benue and Oyo with or without G-5.
Again, making a public endorsement of Tinubu will not be good at this point and can even be counterproductive. Some northerners may see it as a southern gang up against Atiku while APC members in G-5 states may think their ambition is being sacrificed for the presidential candidate. The possible problem it could cause is why Atiku’s camp is insisting and shouting that Tinubu met with G-5. So you see, the denial from APC and G-5 is just to forestall all these possible problems.
More consultations and sensitization will be done on all sides while they keep working for Tinubu quietly without any official announcement. This is high wire politics.
All these are wishes you coined up in your head. The truth will be revealed this January.
The supposed deal being published on several newspapers is plain APC Propaganda. I read the content of the supposed deal, and it is all plain Propaganda. The deal makes it seem as if the G5 is begging Tinubu....that's hilarious. The truth will emerge very soon.
RenaissanceGuy: So, I posed this question to the newly launched AI tool owned by Open AI which Elon Musk and some others founded in 2015, according to Wikipedia: Supposing four political parties, APC, PDP, NNPP and LP are contesting for a political position and total number of voters is 80m. Give me a RANDOM winner and breakdown of votes for each contestant.
I 100% blame Buhari for the unknown gunmen mayhem in the South-East. I hold Buhari and Buhari alone responsible for this. However I'm shocked that Peter Obi hasn't condemned the recent killings in the South-East.
