The IGP needs to document dis officially if he is serious.
My sister was once hit by d stray bullet of a careless mopol. She was rushed to d hospital, a federal hospital and they insisted on police report before treating a seriously bleeding person.
We rushed to d police station to get a report and apart from demanding that we pay N10,000 for the report, the stupid police insisted that they must go and investigate d "crime" scene......instead of simply radioing the Mobil to confirm which team was on patrol in that area. Time was seriously running out all dis while.
Luckily we were able to conclude all d crap they required and we got the report. My sister survived.

U have good options. Everyone suggesting u go for one job and leave d other have not asked d basic questions; for the school- what is the probability of remaining in biz? What is their student population? will the location encourage future growth? What is d management like? Are they future oriented and always on their toes? What is there present standard? Is it at par with schools of the same grade offering similar pay level? And so on.......

For the engineering firm: what is their previous financials like? What is their previous technical performance? What are their main products? Is it something in demand? Is it something u think the target market will like to buy? Is it something u can successfully sell? Is it of standard quality and priced at par with the existing competition? What is there management like? Are they future oriented?[/size]

U see, u can grow in any of them but u need to know the above before u can make ur decision.

Personally, if I believe I can sell d products and d target market are willing to buy it and also financially capable to do so, I will go for the engineering job. But there are some kind of marketing I can never do e.g insurance, banking, pension, gnld and its relatives, travel agency, etc.
Give me a real product that is standard and suitably priced for the competition, show me d target market and consider ur product sold.

Ordinarily u can solve d question using simple annuity but then given that the deposit is done monthly, it becomes a bit more complex for those who do not fully grasp d concept of simple annuity. Auditor General office is watching, OAGF is watching, Senate cttee and house ctee on public accounts is watching, budget office is monitoring in 3D, ICPC is looking for just d slightest chance to pounce, the union leaders in dat MDA is not sleeping, d staff of d MDAs have relations in regulatory agencies to complain to, the financial operational controls in each MDA cannot be circumvented singlehandedly; they are built to work like clockwork......on cue, the board of the MDA is still in power, the chief executive of the MDA has a political appointment to protect ......and so on and so forth.

Summary; nobody tamper with personnel cost....whether IPPIS is existing or not.

I rest my case. If u still bother to dispute dis.....well......Ur ignorance is beyond redemption as far as govt financial operations is concerned.

Pls don't get me wrong....All sorts of grafts and back handed dealings and corruption are still rampant in federal civil service. But when it comes to personell cost......the controls are iron clad. Take it or leave it.

very funny write up.i did my internship in national hospital abuja some years back,and i will say this problem can occur due to many reasons.
1.An house officer probably wrote this investigation for her(the rookie didnt know the test was unavailable in the hospital)
2.The cash point guy was stupid enough not to have checked the available tests(an updated list)
3.If you know how national hospital and their politics work enh,in fact ,you will know that patience is the key,everything has to go through paper work,ordinary refund,you must write letter,even medical report,that one might be 2 months.

SOLUTION;Be patient madam,and pray Buhari or the CMD restructures the system soon.
N.B;i doubt if anyone scammed you of 50k(a night of admission in the private wing was 40k,about 3 years ago).

The patient was made to pay for an operation they don't have the equipment. Worse, she is yet to get her refund. What do you call that? In a saner country, she will sue easily.

Communication gap made d hospital charge her for a procedure which they can't perform as at dat moment. If u know d public sector, dis things happen. Live with it.

I won't conclude dat dia was a fraudulent intention in charging her.

A hospital dat pays ordinary interns close to 200k a month, a hospital with a wage bill exceeding 500million naira monthly.

If u have been to national hospital, u will realise that they are well equipped with world standard medical equipment and they spend good cash to maintain them.

Let us learn to approach issues with maximum objectivity. It helps us to sleep better.

Best way to avoid most rape cases (except in weird cases of child rape) is to set a distance btw urself and his money. Give urself respect especially if u have no intention to submit to his advances.

thanks for replying. But the link was actually of very limited help to me. It only confirmed to me dat algae can be destroyed and then went ahead to suggest procedures and Chemicals which I have little or no knowledge about and which were not within my reach here in naija.

I will prefer it if u can recommend specific chemicals I can easily obtain in naija markets to tackle dis issue. Remember my algae problem is on concrete floor and not a fish pond. Thanks once again for replying.
