After China Huawei hardwares have crippled its network. BABA is now running to France.

At a time, he started in France with Alcatel Lucent when GLO network was top notch, and now going back home.
How did Huawei cripple Globacom's network? The network elements made by Huawei, from access (BTS, BSC, Node Bs, eNode Bs, etc) are considered far better than the legacy Alcatel equipment the company had (still has). Hell, the later are even swapped out at a fast rate in favour of Huawei, ZTE, and in some MW PDH radio cases, Isreali Ceragon products. 'still want to know how Huawei crippled Globacom though.

Why does it matter where the base is located? that is the only concern of Bigots, you can't hide from your shadows.
Does the Navy require a Desert warfare training experience, Yes or NO, if yes, why does it matter its location? will it cost more in Kano & less in Rivers state? why is the location important to you, is my question, joblessness?
Desert warfare experience for what? If the Naval infantry or the NNSBS needs such experience, why not just meet the Nigerian Army for the necessary training, same way the USN Seals meets the US Army for their Jump School training? That will save cost considerably compared to opening an independent training facility.

C-130 might be an overkill for such task. Honestly, they can just dedicate 2 or 3 MI-171 helicopters to be transporting soldiers to points that are relatively safe.

That driver deserve serious flogging but really there isn't much he could do when his own life will probably be at risk.
I don't think so. That's exactly the kind of missions the C-130 was built for: tactical airlift. Besides the C-130 can airlift more troops and equipment. Other than that, why not reactivate our G-222 fleet? We use those or the C130s to Airbases in Yola and Maiduguri, then airlift troops from there to FOBs in the hinterlands with the Mi17I helos.

You really do not understand the issue here. The issue is not whether the US should pull out of Afghanistan. Infact, Trump was the President to sign a deal with the Taliban for the US to pull out of Afghanistan. Most Americans agree that it is time to pull out of Afghanistan, but it is the Manner in which the US pulled out that is the problem. I am a Biden supporter, but his advisers messed him up big-time.
So what should America have done differently? How should they have carried out their withdrawal from Afghanistan with only 2500 left in country? Keep in mind that the President already announced weeks ago his intentions regarding the withdrawal, including the evacuation of Afghans who helped the coalition, and he did just that. He even promised airstrikes to aid the Afghan govt slow the Taliban advance. What else should he have done? Let his nation spend more years in Afghanistan

If so why were those set of Afghans who ran after the transport plane ready to die trying to leave Afghanistan. Atleast that was a video.
I'm afraid he's right. The Taliban offered Amnesty to everyone who fought on the other side. That was announced by them in today's press conference at Kabul. But it's left for the world to see if they'll honour their word.

President Biden was straight, forward, and did not sugar coat anything. He equally addressed the pains of a nation who sacrificed LIVES of it's servicemen and woman, plus TRILLIONS of dollars, training, expertise, and TIME (20 freaking years), yet was blunt about totally blunt and open about the reality of that decision. This experience was one of the hardest decisions any leader could've made, and will definitely scar his legacy and America, yet he made it as that was part of his election promise to his electorate, to end America's LONGEST war, a war that 73% of the American Population voted should end after TWENTY YEARS of painful sacrifice. And as a leader he stood firmly by his decision, even if it politically unpalatable, and took responsibility. In his own words: ".....the buck stops with me".

Joe Biden gets my full support on this one.

Chemical engineering is broad bro. Most of the courses done in the undergraduate centered around reaction engineering, process design, unit operation, safety, production and lots more. Possibly they can fit in every sector. A chemical engineer doesn't even need to be looking for work. They can possibly start up their own production firm.

The number one role of a chemical engineer is to improve efficiency.

Google chemical engineers roles.

In the undergraduate, there is a course called Chemical reaction engineering whose main aim to is to develop and design reaction paths for maximum efficiency and yields.

Infact, a chemical engineer is always looking for the best possible means to cut cost while at the same time obtaining maximum production.

There is also a course called process design where they design a process for the production of a particular product and make estimations for the whole process, run simulation using hyses.

For instance, the building of the Dangote refinery requires chemical engineers. It is a chemical that will first run a simulation of the particular process before laying up the different equipment. If anything is wrong, the simulation will show it and will be corrected.

In the refinery, most of the chief operators are chemical engineers. The industrial and mechanical engineers are the ones doing maintenance work on the equipment. But for the production department, it's mainly chemical engineers. They are the ones that produce and monitors the productions process.

If anything is going wrong, they are the ones that will detect it and stop operation.

There is no engineering role they can't fit in.
I'm sure they probably can. Of course However that's not the point. The point is that ACTUAL Chemical Engineering vacancies, be it in Nigeria OR developed countries are low compared to the 3 main engineering arms (electrical, mechanical, civil), or worse ICT roles. Keep in mind that it is far easier for practitioners of these 4 courses to strike out on their own compared to Chemical Engineers. Most times, a considerable number of Chemical Engineers, at least in Nigeria, tend to take different technical roles or career paths, and that's okay as Engineering as a whole tends to produce some of the very best analytical minds and problem solvers. Still, actual chemical engineering roles are low.

Only a matter of time before Afghan pilots cram family members onto aircraft, and fly them to neighbouring countries.
I pray that doesn't happen. That'll create a major security and refugee problem. My hope is that the same case that occured in Iraq reoccurs in Afghanistan, i.e. the Afghan Army Kandak Commandos take the fight to the Taliban, same way Iraqi Golden Brigade Special Operations Forces led the fight against ISIS when the main Army almost collapsed. They'll be stretched to the brink, but hopefully they'll be able to motivate other units to fight for their country. The US airpower should equally come to bear in aid of the Afghans, but the later must learn to stand on their own.

When I and OP wrote this on this, we did not know that University of Calgary (a country bestowed with excess crude oil) and Imperial College London (top 20 university globally) had scrapped anything related to Petroleum Engineering. The former did away with the bachelor program and the latter with her MSc course (she does not offer bachelor degrees in it). Yet Unilag cut-off point for Pet Engr is the highest across the faculty (higher than lucrative courses such as Computer Science and Mathematics), probably same for Uniport and FUTO. Worse still, people are pursuing MSc degrees in the industry in UI (Energy Economics and bullcrap), FUTO, Unilag, Uniben, Uniport etc.

You people would learn the hard way and I am here for it.
KPOM!! You've said it all. Every first world nation/developed economy are steadily dumping fossile fuel and the internal combustion engine (ICE) for green sustainable energy and electric vehicles (EVs). That fact that the cutoff mark for Petroleum Engineering is still shows how BACKWARD our national curriculum is. Ladies and gentlemen, INFORMATION/DATA is the present and the FUTURE. TECH is key. Frankly my kids must pass through a code camp, and one must study either EEE or Computer Science.

Too restrictive. Go for Mechanical Engineering for your undergrad or postgrad after a B.Eng in Mat Met Engineering.

Nice one but remove Chemical Engineering. That's a very broad profession. They fit in all industries. Don't be deceived by the name Chemical.

They don't handle chemicals as most people reason, going by the name. But they design and control processes for industries.

All industries have processes. They are the ones that will tell you how to improve systems performances to maximize profit for the firm.

It's not a restrictive profession, far from it. They fit in all industries being construction, manufacturing, cosmetic, food, pharmaceutical, production industries and so on.

A chemical engineer is also responsible for making estimations for firms that want to embark on any projects (cost estimations) from the start of the project to the completion and all what is involved. They also fit into procurement sector. You need a chemical engineer for the procurement of equipments for the establishment of any firm.

Without a chemical Engineer, many things will go wrong in an establishment.

Lots of persons have the notion that Chemical engineers deal with just chemicals. Far from it.

Chemical engineers typically do the following:

•Conduct research to develop new and improved manufacturing processes

•Establish safety procedures for those working with dangerous chemicals

•Develop processes for separating components of liquids and gases, or for generating electrical currents, by using controlled chemical processes

•Design and plan the layout of equipment

•Conduct tests and monitor the performance of processes throughout production

•Troubleshoot problems with manufacturing processes

•Evaluate equipment and processes to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

•Estimate production costs for management
I think most of the points you've mentioned i.e. improving the efficiency of manufacturing/production processes, cost reduction, etc falls squarely under Industrial/Production Engineering.

At least Mr. *Clueless* grew the economy as the nation experienced on of the highest growth rate, thus placing Nigeria in the group of MINT nations. Yes 2015 experienced a drop in oil prices, and that growth rate was slashed, never the less the country's economy still grew..

....then Mr *Integrity* came in, and failed to formulate an economic blueprint for the nation, or appoint an economic advisory team for MONTHS. Then the economy began to stagnate, and then 1st recession.
