Qc-1:
I did that to my green passport once. I regret that decision because they won't issue me a visa in my blue passport when I need to travel to naija.

To them, I'm not a naija, even though my blue passport clearly stated that I was born in Lagos and my name is typical Yoruba, not to forget I was speaking with Ikorodu language.

The experience was very pathetic.
Well you did burn your passport and effectively renounce your citizenship

Christianity EtcRe: Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo Of COZA In Sex Scandal by ocheejemb: 3:41pm On Aug 23, 2013
jamesbondchick: This FatOyinbo nor just try at all grin this story reminds me of what happened to me earlier this year. My sis asked me to come see one prophet Nwachukwu who prayed for her after her hubby died,I was reluctant but decided to go since she was housing him during his stay in benin. I saw d 'prophet' in d room & he began prophesying stuff, some true, some not so true.He then told me to stand up,close d door & stand behind d closed door.I didn't read any meanings to it cos I tot he wanted to pray without disturbing others in d house.

Next thing he told me was to disguise myself & I'm like, sorry what do you mean?He said I should do to myself what my boyfriend does to me to put me in d mood,I should take off my trousers while I do so! To say I was shocked is an understatement! My sister was in d next room for craps sakes! I just stood there like a statue while he kept cajoling me & telling me that he needed to invite the 'evil spirit' that has been disturbing me so he could cast it away from me when it arrived & this was the ONLY way I could be free. He went further to say not everything I think is sin that afterall God knew that killing somebody is a sin yet he still told Abraham to sacrifice his son to him. I just stood there & when he realized I wasn't budging,he got impatient, started frowning & saying I wasn't ready to be delivered. He then asked me how old I was & when i told him 30+,I could see he was surprised cos he said I looked no older than 19 or 20 because of my stature.

He obviously tot I was an under aged mugu who wud just fall under his manipulative tricks.I told my sister a while after he left, she called him & he vehemently denied the entire encounter saying he was going to the mountain to pray to his Baba, that I had lied against a man of God. Mountain ko,baba ni! Useless dwarf of a he goat!!! I still dey wait for him baba to answer by fire!!!
LMFAO...

Christianity EtcRe: What Is Wrong With Paying Your Tithe In Church? by ocheejemb: 4:31pm On Aug 21, 2013
buffenuff: Tithes can be paid in many forms not just in church. For instance you can use your tithes to pay for a homeless persons rent, If you earn 2 million a year, your tithes will be 200k. That alone can pay for someones rent for the year and get him off the streets. Or otherwise pay for the school fees for some kids on the streets. God will not be angry with you if you use your tithe money to help a stranger but God will be angry if you spend that tithe money on yourself. That's stealing from God. If everybody used their tithe money to help a stranger, in a matter of time, we will be looking for who to help cos there will be no more people in need.
This is what believe as well.

First time I hearing of a sensible judgement in Nigeria. Punishment fits the crime, not the one that he''ll be sentenced to life or worse becayse he stole a phone.
EducationRe: The Plight Of A Madonna University Law Graduate by ocheejemb: 12:07pm On Aug 20, 2013
I think you and those like you affected need to ensure that Maddonna does all they can as a matter of priortiy to sort this out. If they dont make such noise about it that people will stop enrolling into the Law programme there and then they will be forced do address it.

As for you people deriding private universities, how are you enjoying the strike? Idiots. I went to Unilag in case you are wondering, but I feel its a shame what rubbish goes on in our public unis. At this rate in 20 years when I have my children, I strongly doubt any sane person will consider sending thier children to these unis. Something needs to be done.

Music/RadioRe: Mode9 Cries Out On Neglect Of His ‘type Of Rap’ by ocheejemb: 11:03am On Aug 19, 2013
In my humble opinion, Naeto C and MI are much better rappers than Mode 9, and they 'spit mad bars' and make a lot of sense, while appealling to the commercial music fans.

Glamourogo: Mode9 Cries Out On Neglect Of His ‘Type Of Rap’. Babatunde Olusegun a.k.a mode 9 went all emotional on hotfm’s breakfast radio show with TuTu Adeoba and Cheezy Charles on his type of non-commercial rap, he re-affirms that he can never change his type of rap to suit an audience and decries neglect on his type of rap’

‘I put out a whole album nobody cared’
‘A whole 20 track album ‘alphabetical order’ nobody gave a f**k’
‘You see how the industry is’ how do you expect me to feel?
‘Nigerians don’t like hip hop they only follow the hype, they don’t even know what it is’
I only cater for my real fans; I don’t really care about the fair weather, band wagon jumpers
‘I cater for my fans and they are feeling it’ i have put up too much effort in promotion of my materials’
‘It’s just some certain people in their minds feeling that am not doing well’

Who then are these few people Mode 9 is referring to?

http://glamourogo..com/2013/08/mode9-cries-out-on-neglect-of-his-type.html
Lmao...make e dey dere dey form 'true to the game'. Hip-hop is an American genre made for Americans by Americans. Because of America's influence it found some fandom world-wide. Some guy from i dunno where is now carrying it on his head and wondering why no one cares/ Nigerians like Nigerian music made by Nigerians for Nigerians.
PoliticsRe: A British Response To 3,000 Pounds Bond by ocheejemb: 4:31pm On Aug 16, 2013
25Calibre: Lol all these things? Don't you know some of these things you listed violates international law? You can't arrest G4S operatives who arrive with deported Nigerians because technically, they aren't on Nigerian soil.

The best, easiest and effective way to retaliate are

1 - Suspend our membership of the commonwealth, I don't really see the purpose that thing serves apart from a few peanuts we get in the name of aid. ( the commonwealth is extremely important to the UK government, to them, it's their last big asset in the world)

2 - Impose neck breaking taxes on UK companies operating in Nigeria, make new laws that prohibits oil companies from bringing in more that 2 British expatriates per year.

The UK isn't really an important player anymore in global affairs, Nigeria can certainly and conveniently do without Britain.

Britain is washed up and they know it, that's why they fight to hold on to their last colonial territories like Falklands, Gibraltar ( which they'd lose someday ) No natural resources, ( the only country Scotland with a but of oil is threatening to pull out ) nothing new to offer the world.
The UK is doing what they feel is best for thier economy. Nigeria needs to do the same, if we impose neck breaking taxes on British companies and they pack up and leave, who will benefit from that? No one. But then we also send out a message that we arent really serious about encouraging foreign investment.

lexyking: I'm still trying to figure out what brought MJ's picture into the video of this song as no mention of. Him was made in the song but now I know they used it as a selling point to get some attention from the states. My advise to them is to be 100% real and create a niche for themselves rather than chosing to walk in someone else's shadow cos the truth be said they can never really be taken as MJ's prodigy
The awkward moment when you give advice to Africa's most successful musical act. Yup, they really need your words of wisdom sir.
