Please dear when you squeeze out the coconut milk you have a mixture of oil, water, protein, carbohydrate etc. This "product" is highly prone to bacterial contamination. I love posts as this and I wonder why some guys would pick a fight whenever they hear the word broke from a lady. Being broke is a reality. And even guys do not love themselves when they are broke so why expect someone else to. Broke here is relative though. But I have been reading posts from ladies on this forum and I think I can agree to their concept of brokeness. Like a lady stated sometimes back: a fiance that never afforded transport when she visits, flashes her and all that. And amarabae here stating of guys with income below 30,000naira. These scenarios are clear extent of being broke. So many people were once broke. As you are broke, use you time, your energy and your little resources to work hard and raise your financial status - this is the message these ladies are passing. The ladies are saying that guys should stop using their little income to impress them. Stop using your little income to feed broke girls. It would make you remain broke and expecting sympathy from them. Stop investing your time calling, texting and visiting broke girls, use the time to work hard and be successful. Girls don't need your meagre money, they want to see you developing yourself to be in charge of mega money. Lots of girls that date and marry rich guys donot depend of the guy's money but they just love the idea of having a guy that is financially comfortable.

Has anyone worked with a terrible head teacher before?I teach in a school where the proprietress resides abroad and the head teacher behaves irrationally. When I got the job,I noticed they were operating the old teaching method and since I have a little experience,I suggested we include sounds and some modern ways of teaching,she declined and insisted on the old. I am sure you have not worked before. Intelligence alone would not take you to the top. Learn how to work with your superiors. There is nothing wrong with your boss. It is all about you, which I am sure by the time you have worked for at least 5years you would understand life better. Learn how to work with superiors. Empty your head. You are pretty young and intelligent but that is not enough to make you grow with this kind of attitude.

Do not let anyone sell to you above N350. That's the highest anywhere for now.

Also, always make sure you buy what you can use at a time, for now, do not buy in a large volume to keep for future use.

HOW I GOT MY TEACHING JOB
I didn't study education but after my NYSC last October I returned to my place and submitted applications in 5 secondary schools. I stated the experience I got from the one year NYSC - writing of lesson note, preparing of lesson plan, teaching methods and evaluation, conducting of practicals, inviligation of WAEC/NECO, participating in NECO re-accreditation process etc. By December I was already invited by a school for aptitude test which were English and Education based questions. I was subsequently invited for interview/microteaching. I started work there by January. By March another school called, I turned them down because I enjoy the working condition where I am. So I don't know if you've not served yet or if you didn't teach in your NYSC. I would also advice you apply for this ongoing NPower. I applied last year and got it. I turned it down since I had to relocate to my state after NYSC. Finally, consider doing Professional Diploma in Education (PDE some call it "PGDE" with NTI and get registered as a Teacher. It will definitely pay off.

Sure! it makes sense to include your "PGDE"-in-view in your CV. Let me as well use this avenue to highlight what you may not have known. NTI does not, cannot, and are not allowed to (by NUC) award PGDE. The programme you are currently running is PDE (Professional Diploma in Education). The PDE would qualify you to get teacher's registration with TRCN but you can't use it to further for your M.Ed. like those with PGDE. So if your objective is becoming a registered teacher, then the programme with NTI will suffice. But if you want a place in the academic authority as an Educationist then I think you need a PDGE from any NUC accredited university.

Oga strongbest, I must say you are a genius. Being able to develop these products intelligently. I really want to appreciate your effort in contributing to human capital development - both on this thread and even when you taught us in NYSC camp, Osun State. I would love to advice, if you are not on it already, that you should consider taking postgraduate studies - Masters, Ph.D. This will enable you publish these works as an authority thereby having great leverage in the future, for you and your children. And you should advice these your fans to consider raising a considerable amount of money (Say 1 - 2 million naira) and consult you to set up a production facility for any product of their choice which will give them more leverage. Rather than someone producing 10 products, the person can invest money into owning a facility that produces 1 or 2 products that circulates through out the country and even export. I see what you do as a professional path that can stand you out as a globally acclaimed consultant.

Instead of engineering students and graduates accepting challenge from this post they are busy consoling themselves. "As Engineers we design ..." If you can't bring out prototypes of your design and products from such prototype then such engineering is mirage. An electrical engineer that cannot wire (not doesnot want to wire but doesnot know how to wire) is ridiculous. These skills are covered in our Basic Technology curriculum in Junior Secondary School. Same with Chemical Engineering graduates that cannot produce bench scale and pilot scale products. These are basic elementary knowledge that ought to be part of the Engineers formative stage of education. Check our university curriculum, these skills are there through various workshop practices, lab work, Student Work Experience and Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES). You cannot design a process you don't have practical knowledge of.

I wonder what this is doing in education section. It should be moved to Jokes section. The OP was just trying to create a sense of humour. On a serious note, it is the teacher that is dumb here. Every mathematical function is a model of something realistic. I have checked the function there, it does not represent any reasonable model. The teacher is dumb and the student is 'dumber'.

OP is pathetic I must say. Someone that didn't catch an opportunity to succeed all through University. Couldn't catch the vision of how to succeed while teaching. Couldn't catch an opportunity to succed while delivering whatever home service he is currently on. Fact is had OP made 2-1 he wouldn't have been able to cope with the rigour of finding a job. In life you strive to succeed against all odd. But people like OP deserve only sympathy and nothing more.

is it their fault that jamb has frustrated 70% of Nigerians?? is it? is it their fault that even if u make it in jamb(score above the cut off mark) sm1 doesn't still get admitted into school?is it their fault that ur country is so fuc ked up that for someone to enter school u either do runs or use connection?? is it also their fault that even if sm1 enters the school strike comes knocking at the schools door which makes students stay longer than the normal yrs they were supposed to stay,so tell me,which of this is their fault??if they had their way do u think they would hv wanted even one of this to happen to them?

With the way OP writes he is definitely not a First Class candidate. If he is very hardworking he can make Second Class Upper, but not 4point. It is most likely OP has the brain but was not given a very rigorous secondary school academic excercises and he is not working hard enough in the university. The sure-bet for the OP now is to sit down and work now. He should try to stabilize his 2-1 first but most especially develop his mind. He should think outside the box. Either he is able to develop a product or service he can MARKET to the world or he develops a marketing strategy to sell the existing products and services. @OP: You have the entire of your final year to discover yourself. The problem is not with the school system in Nigeria but with the students. University education is designed to be research based. You talk about doing business? Yes, you caught a desire to do business and you are now in the university. This would have been an opportunity to research on that product, service, and marketing methodology from your 100level. At final year now you should have been sure of the path to take. But I am sure you were busy pursuing only grades and abstract theories and using foreign casestudies. It is not too late dear. Use your final year, work on something - it might be as your project. Network with colleagues. In your NYSC, intensify on what you have started. Expand the network. Enroll on Graduate Entrepreneurship Fund (GEF) programme, Business Innovation and Growth (BIG) platform etc. There are jobs but only gotten miraculously. And you know something about miracle? No one knows how it works.

I would love you to use yourself for the experiment. Come out from school and serve if your age above 26 then come back and share the type of job you get. Perhaps that will bring the needed encouragement. You want me to tell people what they want to hear? Then wait forever.

You don't have to regret going to school. If you are from a rich and connected family then you can go to school with the hope of gaining a well paid job. But if you are intelligent and without connection, go to school with the view of discovering something to contribute to the society in exchange of huge financial returns . If you are very intelligent, then make a First Class, stay back in the academic society and lecture to transfer knowledge. Ignore all of the above, then you graduate to queue up for the very narrow to nonexistent chance for merit - that is if you are lucky to come back from NYSC before 26. Stay away from faith, face reality.
