Mr "Expose" and "Oga exposure" list the countries and put side prices side by side.

If you use Google, leprosy go scatter your hands.

My question is WHY IS THE TRAIN MORE EXPENSIVE THAN DANFO?

Nigeria thing is always in the opposite direction, train trips are supposed to be cheaper than all other means of transportation.

It was supposed ease load from the shoulders of commuters, especially workers, but it's the opposite. This Lagos that people don't care waiting for over 30mins or to get a cheaper bus with just N100 difference, na dem wan spend more train? How much be salary?

Music/RadioRe: This Is Why I Am Changing The Kind Of Music I Listen To by Offpoint1: 8:07pm On Feb 29, 2024
Printme1:
Music is powerful and ADDICTIVE.

You start out not liking a particular type of music and then one day you hit a song you like and from there, you start liking other songs by the singer.

And then new songs from the genre.

It was like this for me with music.

Rap songs was never my thing. I could remember back then in 2010 or 2009. I just wouldn't listen to rap songs.

For one, I didn't think it was music. Rap never felt like music to me. And Secondly, I don't want to struggle to understand what was being said.

Anyways, I listened to Eminem's Not Afraid and became instantly hooked.

I listened to the song almost all through the day. And then I listened to more of his songs, pick a lots of favorites which became my Playlist.

I then started searching for more rappers like him and stuffs.

Back to 2024 now, I want to change my taste of music. And there's a huge reason for this.

Music sends messages to our subconscious. It dictates moods and thoughts and can easily influence how you view yourself and the people around you.

I have gone very deep in this rap culture, started listening to songs by the likes of Meek Mill, NF, Juice WRLD, and so on.

But when I look at the lifestyle of these people, the way they talk, act and behave, I always have one single thought: "these are not the kind of people I should be drawing my inspiration from"

Not to judge but most of these people are not the kind of role models I want or would ever want to look up to.

Secondly, their songs nowadays are always very depressing, deprecating and self focused and I didn't like how these songs make me see the world.

I realized this was a problem a while ago but I kept listening to these songs because I've grown accustom to them or should I say addicted.

But for the last few months, I've been making changes to my music taste. I've included more gospel songs to my library. Thanks to Chris Morgan and others, I now force myself to listen to gospel songs.

And it has not really been easy. But I'm happy to say that even though I subconsciously miss those rap songs, I'm glad to be making efforts to listen to different genres now.

I'm also listening to more Nigerian songs especially Afrobeats. I judge these are "feel good" songs and most of the time, they keep you in high spirit and probably make you want to dance.

This to me feels a lot better than the depressing feelings I get from western raps.

Honestly, you'll never know how things are if you're not trying to leave it.

A few days ago I saw a friend listening to NF and the first thing I wanted to tell him was to leave these types of music that causes depression.

But then again, everyone had their choice and I just kept quiet.
Dude how do you get depressed with Eminem songs?
My daily dose of songs:

Eminem
Enya
Lucky Dube
Lil Wayne (he's vulgar, but he's got some track with deep wording)
Dax
Phora

I can't do without the first 3 in a day.

I have zero taste for Nigeria songs, except old timaya/Wande Coal
FoodRe: Are some retailers deliberately hiking prices? Whats happening In Nigeria? by Offpoint1: 7:20pm On Feb 29, 2024
They are. Once they heard price of dollar has increased, these folks will automatically increase the prices of items. I keep wondering if Naira is Nigeria currency or dollar.

The one I can't fathom till date is garri. No part of garri processing involves dollar, but the price keeps skyrocketing.

When I entered Lagos 2018, a paint rubber of garri was sold N400. How it becomes N2500 today I don't understand.

Alternative to those who eat them.

I only eat funny kinds of animals.
Goat
Cow
Chicken... It was until recently before I started eating Turkey. After these 4 and fish, count me out on all other meat, my stomach will eject them out.

I want to know exactly what's going on with the electricity supply. Where I'm located i used to enjoyed nothing less than 22 hours of electricity supply daily, some weeks we have 24hrs. I don't know what's going on for the past 1 month+, 5 hours of power seems like luxury now... It's very frustrating.
Supply on comes by 12am-4/5am, between this period sef they keep playing the 30mins on and 5 off games... and that's all for the whole day kiss man's tired 😴

I mean by the grace of God, I have been making such amount per month and sometimes more, but can I shock you? I'm always broke! That money, if it comes in bulk does not stay more than 5 days in my account before the account balance returns to what looks like a radio station frequency (92.5, 93.7 etc). Lol.

Abeg anybody else in my shoes? I don't drink, smoke or womanize or even spend money on unnecesary things. The cost of living in the country is just EXTREMELY high, which is the main thing that finishes the money in no time.

As things are now, making millions is the only way out but how I go reach there?

Which hustles I fit add to the one I'm doing now?

On the flip side, I believe successful governments especially the present one have been very intentional about subjecting the citizens into poverty the more for political gains.

My point

With the level of hunger, starvation and frustration going on in the country, people would be begging for any amount to vote during election, the political gains.

May God help us.
😂 Same shxt I'm facing... Person go dey see like 2-300k per month but still broke as F... Started this February with 350k, as I'm typing now na 5k dey my account.

Man's tired

I was born a magnetic keeper, during my SS days it was impossible to score me. They named me 'Computer' back then because only a computer can be that accurate in catching balls. I had this natural tracker that focus mainly on the leather ball, my brain filtered out all activities and players on the field and focus mainly the on ball. That made it impossible to scored me free kicks, penalty and direct shots. You can only score me by dribbling me out of goal post.

VanuatuWycombe:
Yes. That’s what we advocate for from our armed r0bber state governors - both past and present.

If a state, including the FCT, can boast of, and generate 500megawatts of electricity, steadily, by 2027, we will have closer to 20,000megawatts in addition to those on ground.
Some states don’t need up to 500 megawatts. For DANGOTE to build over 430 megawatts for its refinery and petrochemicals, which can power the whole of Oyo State, it means there’s no state that cannot do it.
Let them do it and put it on stock exchange ti make their money back quickly. We will have a vibrant economy in no-time and a very competitive one for that matter.
Nigerian governors don't reason like this... Embezzle and steal, then repair 2 roads.. That's the only thing they think of
