As a man who desires to get married to probably the woman of his dreams; it then becomes important to know that your love can only be effective when there is money. I am not talking about millions of naira – at least something that can settle food bills, clothing, domestic bills and health care.

3. An apartment.

Most men have reportedly married their wives into their family home which isn’t completely bad – but it is better to have your own apartment before getting married. The reason for this can be traced to the idea of maintaining your self-respect and that of your wife’s, and also to accord yourself some marital privacy.

4. Vision and prospect for the marriage.

It might interest you to know that marriage isn’t an end – rather, it is a means to an end. Marrying your partner for the sole purpose of satisfying your sexual urge or pleasure isn’t completely a good reason to marry. As a man who desires to get married, it becomes important you bear in mind that you are bringing somebody’s daughter into your house, as such; you should have a well-drafted and solid plan for her and the marriage as well. In the absence of no vision before marriage - the relationship might perish.

When I was taking my kids to their grandpa few days ago to spend the remainder of their holidays I was so happy! Coupled with the fact that my wife was also traveling the following day, my joy knew no bounds. Finally the peace and freedom I craved was here!

This weekend my home didn’t feel happy! It was sad and lonely. I felt cold loneliness throughout. I tried everything I could to distract myself but I miss my family so bad!

I miss our little quarrels, our eventual understanding and acceptance of each other using truce keeping.

Straight to the point,

I'm a chronic addict of alcohol and cigarettes. I use them heavily and that has caused me a lot of health issues. I'm struggling but couldn't quit.

I smoke and drink at the detriment of my health which has seen me access the hospital on many occasions than normal.

I've applied all techs thru people's testimony of how they quitted but none worked with me.


I swear every night that I've quitted but on first light the next day the craving increases.

I'm battling multiple health issues and I need help.

Please, anyone with a way out help please. If I don't quit now, I'd kiss mother Earth sooner.

I had a friend like you though he doesn't smoke but he is a heavy drinker like 4 to 5 bottles of life beer daily . He says he is addicted and can't quit until November 1 2020 when he fell in a bar and developed partial stroke. Since that day till today he has not tasted anything alcohol n bedridden with partial stroke, let the health warning be a warning to you.

Quit smoking

You can start quitting alcohol gradually from once a week to once in 2 weeks to once a month to very occasionally

Am 28yrs old n a graduate 4rm uniabj. I am unemployed and stay with my parents. I happen to have a girl am true to. I av been hanging out with her at a friends place due to fact that my parents dont wanna see any girl at home with me. My girlfriend got tired of that n i summoned courage to take her home one day whille my parents where out unfortunately they did nt go far. When they came back my mum checked on me in my room n found me watching a movie with the girl. Has anyone experienced this. This is where I find myself. And I keep getting talks like it's a bad thing. Talks like your last has married before you shouldn't you be ashamed. Some even go to extent of proclaiming abomination.

For me all this one's no concern me. I am a playboy at heart and will marry at my own time or not at all. Depends on how I feel.

I have this girl I have been dating for 4 years and we are planning to get married to this year. But I notice she does not like to sacrifice. I mean, she is kind of selfish.

she is studying and i send her money aside the one the parent gives to her but if i request for a video call, she would ask me to send her data, if she comes to my house and i don't give her TP not minding that i gave her money some weeks/days back she would be angry.

Yesterday i booked a ticket for her to come to lagos from anambra, after booking she asked me to also send her some feeding money for the journey. I refused and asked her to take from the 20k I sent to her last 2 weeks, she then said " WHO PAYS FOR TP AND NOT GIVES FEEDING MONEY?  

Long story short, I had to cancel the ticket. I have constantly complained about her selfishness  but no improvement .
